Interview...
Hey everyone I went through the Yahoo Finance site's pr. No problems getting on
Good to know thanks..
Hey everyone. I picked up some shares today with the intention of flipping them for what I hoped to be a modest profit in the near future. After reading through all the pr's and whatever else I could get my hands on I have to say I'm impressed with the CEO. I'm in the process of doing reasearch on the costs and impact of heavy oil as this is not my area of expertise. What I have seen is an aggresive CEO that appreciates his shareholders and is on pace to securing some sizeable business. The fact that they have secured financing, are able to disclose some specifics on the markets being negotiated and have a working model on their own oil leases is impressive. Well today's pr was huge also.
Like I said I am no expert in this area. One thing I do know is this market is NEW..check that INFANT which means zero regulation and LOTS of growth. Long story short...I might be holding on to this one longer than I had initially planned. Best of luck to all!!!!
Roger that! Thanks
Agreed. Perhaps that's why BP is franticly trying to raise so much money. Our govt certainly does one thing well and that's overspend. With that being said the aministration does not instill much confidence so I am trying to get confirmation on the lack of BP direction on the shipment of these two products. God knows there is prob more. My friend at CNN is comunicating with me now. Rather than a puff piece on MOP perhaps a gross mishandling of an enviromental disaster is more appropriate?
I don't want to put the company in any liability or compromise any opportunity to help. If you think about it nobody is reporting this.
Here is a better link...
Scroll down the page to the pr on enviromop. It might be an old one that's been recycled but I was curious if it's still our MOP.

hope I copied this accurately. Are these products one in the same?
I will be eager to see what Mr Axelrod has to say should this air. If he's worth his salt the first two questions he's gonna ask is "what has BP ordered" and "what are the status of those orders". I'm still quite moved by BP's press release "we've scoured the earth in search of boom...etc, etc"
As I type, this whole thing is really starting to upset me. Between the chemical dispersements in Houston and the mop booms in NH there is a story of neglegence brewing here. The media was quick to point out the flaws of the Katrina recovery execution. So my question is how sure are we about the Houston and NH orders? I mean if Jim Axelrod does not report this while he was at mop hq then he needs to step aside and let a real reporter step in and get the job done. Assuming we can confirm this...I think it's our duty as citizens to report this. 20 billion, 50 billion heck 100 billion dollars it makes no difference if BP doesn't have a game plan in place.
Just my opinion :)
Thanks for sharing hadn't seen that one. Interesting how they break down the volume and efficiency of MOP sorbents vs booms. Kind of a no brainer but I'm sure BP will get the idea sooner or later.
Who knows maybe the new guy at BP has some common sense to bring to the table.
Seriously bro did you just make that up? I watched the House investigative and oversight sub-commitee hearings today. BP CEO Tony Hayward was asked what resources he needed or needed more of? His response was 'more resources to keep the oil from reaching the shores'.
Last I checked he was under oath, on world television and knows a heck of a lot more about this disaster than you. So yea I'm gonna go with his assesment and not yours.
I don't have a link...like I said I saw it on tv today but I'm sure you can find it.
Well put..AMEN brother!!!
I don't have any doubt were gonna be on the hook for some of this. Why do you think I am in an oil recovery stock. Its where the money is gonna be for a very long time!!!
The govt pisses away 20 billion it its sleep and this problem is not gonna go away screwing over the tax payer. Is there gonna be waste...yes, is the govt gonna screw it up even more...prob, will the job eventually get done..YES!! Correct if I am wrong, but Wayne is a former 3 term Senator? I live in Arlington, VA and am a former owner/govt contractor. If I can find the money I am pretty sure Wayne wont have any problems.
If you don't like the system then run for office and change it. Either way lets leave the politics at the door and stay focused on the task at hand.
Just my opinion...
Heard on FOX news today BP has a trillion dollars in oil reserves.
Putting aside any political agendas from the WH for a moment. MOP is exactly the company enviornmentalists, green activists and esp the president should be embracing. Obviously we all are proponents of capitalism just from our presence here. At the end of the day we can all benefit from many great products that are enviornmentaly friendly, creation of jobs and a strong economy.
This market we are creating is at an infant stage. Scams and trends will come and go just like they did during the tech boom of the 90s. My money is on the ones like MOP that will blaze that trail of opportunity for years to come.
Another way to look at it. Every industry is or will be regulated before too long. This one is just getting started and will be held in the highest regards for years and years.
I'm not a "greeny" kind of guy just someone that believes in the free market.
Yes please! I'd hate to see new investors scared off by "dime store" flippers.
Loose sorbents are banned last I heard.
Yea I just noticed the lefty slant on the petition page. I will send a personal message...like you said it can't hurt!
Wow that was fast thanks! Im still thinking we can parlay this MOP page/petition with hers. I know she reads and updates constantly. Thoughts???
I posted previously re: my friend at CNN(one of the investigative reporters that broke the White House/Secret Service scandal ...here is an update
She finally got back to me and thanked me for the lead. Apparently its crazy over there. I told her about the CBS deal and that Huckabee had a bunch of "hacks" on his show (sorry hope I dont offend some were ok). She knows I am an avid FOX guy. I told her I would love to see this story broken for the american people and here is CNN's big opportunity to look into it. Keep your fingers crossed and I will keep you guys updated if I hear anything else.
Agreed. He's doing exactly what a good CEO should be doing. Someone mentioned this stock is starting to trade like a real stock and I'm loving it! MOPN is starting to get some attention on Schwab and I have seen it on Scottrade as well (the truth no bs). Truth be told I'm only in for 26k but I'd much rather see consistant 5-15% gains than the roller coaster ride most of these pinkies offer.
I am proud to be a shareholder with this company and so far management has done a lot of things right. Just remember we are building a brand new market and things are not gonna always be easy. Being on the cutting edge never is. Not to mention risk is high, but the long term rewards are worth it...my opinion of course.
Best of luck to everyone!!
I'm watching it. There was a "mop like product" that was able to absorb the oil from the water but can only recover 70% of the oil from the sorbent. MOP's was higher correct?
The hay demo was a dud in my opinion
I might be wrong my gf tells me that all the time.
Agreed EPA is important and key. Without their blessing MOP would just be another product. I was under the impression that BP is not using any sorbents because President Obama had banned them. Am I wrong?
This is huge!!!
I'm with you on the FB thing but at this point we have the chief WH correspondant for CBS witnessing and recording this. Trust me ratings are everything esp to the one that finds this "Diamond" in the rough!!!!
Roger that...I hear ya
On another note and I apologize to all for the digression; I am looking for another portfolio manager, streamer etc. I currently trade on USAA since most of my funds are with them. I am not crazy about the interface and access to their investing tools. I find myself bouncing between Google and Yahoo and it's very time consuming. How are the upgrades on this site? Any recommendations?
Agreed. The public wants/needs someone to stand next to the CEO of BP and tell the world "were going to get this cleaned up and things are going to be ok". I'm in no way insinuating it's gonna be Charles Diamond but someone like him is what we need. The investigations and fines can come later, but now is the time to come together and clean what is not ours to dirty.
Sorry don't mean to preach just an avid scuba diver that won't be able to dive that area for a while.
I'm guessing people are starting realize this company is legit. More investors and less traders...my opinion of course
hahahahaha
In case anyone missed this in the ibox:
ABOUT: WAYNE KING-RETIRED SENATOR
Instrumental to our progress has been the exceptionally productive activity of retired Senator Wayne King of New Hampshire, who was also a former candidate for Governor of the State of New Hampshire. Wayne King has expanded our Distribution Network to include many strong new distributors who in turn have been successful in securing a number of impressive large accounts.
One of the largest automotive companies in the world has just confirmed by testing and use, that our MOP® sorbent product can result in significant benefits throughout all their automotive manufacturing plants. This very large automotive company is, with great enthusiasm, continuing to identify many additional in-house applications that are anticipated to provide them a wide range of similar cost saving applications. Additional applications for our MOP® products are in process at two separate plant locations. The implementation of any one application throughout all their plants in the U.S. would result in over one million dollars a year in sales. We believe the proven benefits to this one automotive company can be used to open the doors to the utilization of MOP® in automotive plants worldwide. This market by itself can pay for sufficient expansion of our manufacturing capabilities to stay ahead of the demand for MOP®. Discussions with distributors have been underway to establish other MOP® manufacturing facilities in strategic locations close to specific large markets. In the meantime our present manufacturing facility has the capability to produce enough MOP® to fulfill the initial requirement of up to ten million in projected annual sales. The one application that has been successfully tested by this large automotive manufacturer would amount to one million in annual sales at a supply rate of $20,000 a week. A MOP® order of this size can be manufactured in just three hours a week at our present facility. Needless to say, we are very encouraged by this development.
I noticed MOPN was on the Scottrade streamer yesterday...looks like this stock is getting attention.
That's what I thought. I'm all in and tapped out..be nice to see another
Unfortunately no I have not heard anything back. We dated for a little while but usually stay in touch so Im not really sure what's going on.
This stock already split once a while back right?
Board is quiet! Did all the flippers and day traders find another stock?
Got a friend at CNN who's an investigative reporter I just sent the company info to. Told her nobody was covering it and asked her to check it out. No joke she was one of the people that broke the White House/ Secret Service story a several months ago. I can promise she will look at it, but lets hope she finds it news worthy.
Lets keep this train moving :)
I also sent Bobby Gindal an MOP Super Spill Kit....Amazon.com 74 bucks and change. I'm an avid scubadiver and dive the Gulf and Atlantic waters often. Like you all I am invested in this company but more importantly we are guests in these waters and we should clean up the messes we make. You guys are inspiring lets spread the word MOPN!!!!
