Can't wait until they unlock all this value they've been talking about for the last 4 years !
Anyone care to share post most recent aerial photos of mega farm? Thanks
RD, I'm assuming you are reading SIAF report. Just one question, are you surprised by the eps?
23.9M o/s, wtF?
Could someone post numbers !!!
New beef trade agreement between US & China announced today. Not sure how this will impact on SJAP. Can't imagine it would be good.

Wow, this late filing should impress IPO investors!!!
Dam these guys are so slow to get out the numbers.
Is it true that there's a delay in Q1 reporting?
What do you wanna bet that more shares are being issued at these levels.
Geez RD, you've really caused quite a stir over in the SIAF room with your announcement that your selling some of your shares at these levels.
RD, its hard for me to believe that you sold shares of SIAF at these levels given your knowledge of the stock and the company. I guess you found a better stock to purchase. Care to share the stock symbol with the rest of the board?
I'm so glad it came down. I just put in an order for slightly less than $3.40. I thought for sure it would stay above $4 after the last cc.
"In a 2016 report, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations reported that the global fish consumption rate had reached an all-time high of 20 kilograms per capita. A boom in aquaculture–the practice of fish farming–which now provides half of fish for human consumption, has driven demand up, as has a growing interest in the health benefits of fish and particularly omega-3 fatty acids, which Greenberg’s personal experiment takes to its logical extreme."

Interesting article but it’s also the subject of a special Frontline documentary, The Fish on My Plate, that premiered on April 25.
China and Norway sign agreement on food imports, exports
Fri Apr 21, 2017 12:52pm GMT
OSLO, April 21 (Reuters) - China and Norway have signed an agreement on the import and export of food products, Norway's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries said on Friday.
The two countries recently resumed full diplomatic relations after a six-year political conflict that was triggered by the 2010 award of the Nobel Peace Prize to Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo.
Norway's fish farming industry is hoping the normalisation of relations will allow it to regain access to the Chinese market. Fish farmers include Marine Harvest, Leroy Seafood, SalMar and Norway Royal Salmon .
RD, the spin off of SJAP will be much more difficult. As they stated,
"..SJAP’s COSO strategy requires more work than the Aquaculture COSO plan.."
With that being said will the SJAP spin off occur this year?
RD, I sold out my position in CCCl about 3 months ago. Not sure what the hell management is thinking. Certainly its not about shareholders. HERB could be a homerun so I will be patient. Triway is projecting 97,696 MT for 2019 with 35% net profit margin and 94M in capex. How much faith do you put in these numbers?
Thanks RD, hopefully when Triway starts producing over 90,000MT in 2019 (as they projected) then by the year 2020 they should be cash flow positive and we may see some kind of dividend. Right now they are projecting capex of $100M +/- every year for the next three years. Not sure how they can pay dividend until then.
HERB is pizzing me off. No dividend in the foreseeable future yet they are sitting on a boat load of cash.
Also you posted on SIAF board
"Many arguments why I say that Tri-way will be cash flow positive 2 years after the IPO, at best. Let alone be able to pay off $205M in debt. "
Just curious how come they need a $205M loan when they will be flush with cash following the IPO? Or a better question is - How are you coming up with $205M in debt?
THanks
Great, I got my 100 shares order filled today !!!
RD, if I remember correctly in the year 2019 they project close to $350M in net income based on 91,000MT & 35% margin for TW. This is the same number that the appraiser estimated for the value of the entire company.
RD, regarding TW spin off, when we receive the dividend shares for TW will you buy SIAF shares with it or not?
Also the spin off doesn't fundamentally change SIAF (except for the loss of TW) since S will continue to have his A-shares and we will continue to be an OTC stock.
How about posting some questions for upcoming Q1 cc !
I don't know about you empty but after the CC I feel much better about the direction of this company. I also think that once the pre-ipo funding is announced share price should rise substantially. Dan is much better at clarifying the finances than Solomon. Anyways I will put in another order this week. GLTA
Thanks RD just one more Q. I'm assuming the announcement management and board for Triway will be announced soon. Also when do you expect we will get pre-ipo financing? The reason I'm asking is that I'm planning to add more shares shortly and need to sell off some assets. For some stupid reason I believe in Dan's comments that the company will take off once the company receives pre-ipo funding
RD, listening to Dan about the 1:20+/- mark he refers to the lender returning the collateral shares once payment is made. If that occurs and the c. shares are returned are those shares then retire resulting in a reduction of o/s?
Rd, will you be sharing your thoughts about cc today.
RD, so Tri-Way is its own company right now and no longer a subsidiary (see your post today). SIAF owns 36% and siaf shareholders own another 18% which will be distributed via some type of dividend shares. Is that about right?
The volume today is quite impressive.
SIAF has the ability to produce other species whenever the market dictates. Shrimp prices may head south in 3 to 5 years when these facilities come on line. One bright spot is the depletion of fish in the South China Sea. Seems that due to the political instability surrounding that disputed area has resulted in the absence of any type of international regulations with regards to fishing. Seems that they are over-fishing the hell out of it.
