HEY JOE, you better get on this rocket ship or it's going to leave without you!

RD's post 115007 (needs to be reposted):
AF5 will consist of 18 buildings or 60,000MT capacity.
The cost could be half of what it was so far. So that means the cost of 3 buildings would be
- $90M to Tri-way
- $60M to SIAF
- or $40M to subcontractors/suppliers
Because everyone has to make a profit (SIAF from consultancy)
But SIAF and the subcontractor will help finance construction. So the financing cost to Tri-way could be close to $40M for 3 buildings instead of $90M.
I think they will do this in 2 stages. A $75M-ish loan would allow them to start construction on 6 more buildings. In the mean time, they will take ODRAS to 3,000-4,000 mu.
Then, a year from now, when pre-IPO financing is complete ($150M), they can start construction on 12 more buildings. And take ODRAS to 7,000 mu.
So the 6 buildings from the first stage will help finance the next 12 buildings at some point (after 2 years). As will the ODRAS.
And then we should see 100,000MT production in 2021. We are at 14,000MT in 2017. So that's 64% average growth for the next 4 years.
That's how I see it.
Thanks RD for posting #115010 and #115011. This makes me feel a whole lot better. Funny, I guess its true what they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words"
Hey Empty, have we formed a bottom yet? I got some $ on the sidelines waiting to jump in. I'm sure some people think I need to be committed to the funny farm but its just too dam tempting given the sub $2 figure. Keep in mind we have $614M in equity vs. $45M +/- market cap. This is nuts.
Also keep an eye on outstanding share count. If those MFs continue issuing more shares we're toast.
RD, thanks for your stickie on SIAF board regarding Joe's comments. Although it still hasn't shut him up yet but give it time. Secondly, people are asking for a dividend although I think some kind of buy back would have longer lasting impact on shareholder value. In terms of cash they have less than $4m per their last report but if you look at equity vs. market cap I can't imagine they wouldn't sell off some assets to buy back shares. But then again this assumes they're smart businessmen.
I'm looking to buy another 5,000 shares if this things forms a bottom.
God, can we please have 1 up-day
$1 in about 33 trading days if we average -2% per day. I would estimate sometime in late August.
RD, the best most of us can hope for is that we only loose 50% of our SIAF investment
SIAF appears to be in a death spiral. Lower nearly every day for a month.
Joe, after watching the news today I have this incredible urge to body slam Solomon like they do in Wrestlemanina.

Surfer, farm was built in 2010 or thereabouts in Japan. Sure would like to see their profit margins.

RD, the article suggests China shrimp prices are higher as disease is back in china. I would think this would be good news for SIAF.

Well it sure appears to me on the surface as most farms are open pond. I will forward it to RD and get his 2 cents.

Sh.t, even when there's good news the stock tanks. I just don't know what to make of it anymore.

RD, in Year 2019 for the Triway projections (guidance) they report $212M in accounts payable. Any idea why this item is so high when in 2016 it was only $7m?
NEWSFLASH: Stock price did not end down today!!!
My CC comment "Solomon, Please no more FAKE news I can't take much more of it."
Empty, you need to have your own late night show. Your talent is going to waste. That post was spot-on, especially the part about Hypeberboy... crack me up!
RD, why is SIAF tanking? Is it because of spin-off?
Someone needs to stop the bleeding.
Also, I wonder if management is stupid enough to issue more shares at these levels. That might be a good question to ask.
I guess it's not in their game plan to buy back shares even when share price is sub $3. That would make too much sense.
Geez, now its $2.89. Closing in on toilet paper value.
It almost seems as if mgt is purposely destroying shareholder value with their broken promises, late filings, diluting of shares, no guidance. Why else would you knowingly do these things.
Empty, do you remember the exact quote that Solomon made about the May announcement?
I wonder if they will be issuing more shares at these levels.
Wow, now in the 2's. A major announcement from management that was planned for May just never materialized. How utterly pathetic.
