"...and while they r doing all this, while all this is going on behind the scenes they issue a press release about the year of the dog. "
Yeah, that "year of the dog" comment they put in their press release was the last straw for me and i'm sure for a lot of other shareholders. Who do they take us for? It just seemed so amateurish.
I have to admit it, you were right all along. I'm sure it pains others to have to read this though.
WOW, another NEW LOW. Congrats Solomon and Dan!!!
"Chinese banks are big. Too big?"
Interesting article

40m O/S just around the corner
What’s the point of a BOD if Solomon has majority of votes
SUIT now, put Lee's azz on the hot seat
When will O/S count hit 40M ?
Thanks RD. I've been following your posts for many years now and you seem to know this company better than anyone else on I-hub. I certainly appreciate it if you would let me know if you sell any or all of your shares. Thanks again.
RD, what is the latest share count for SIAF? Has it passed 40M.
I'm slowly given up on this company. The loan should not have taken this long.
"Tri-Way continues to work closely with several banks to secure development financing. Negotiations with a 5-bank syndicate are in advanced stages. While this is taking longer than expected to materialize, we remain confident that, once secured, this will serve not only to boost sale of goods at Tri-Way, but also and most notably, enable SIAF to generate revenue from its Capital Award subsidiary toward or past 2016 levels over time.. In the meantime, Tri-Way is exploring lower cost and more rapidly achievable methods of growing complementary, incremental revenues, such as importing frozen seafood to supply to the China market."
If I knew several years ago that SIAF was going into the importation of frozen seafood business I would never would had invested.
"Chinese consortium signs deal for $1bn offshore ‘super fish farm’ project"
Hey IKEA, can you please re-post your deleted post as i have not read it yet.
Soroi, two things that are inevitable when it comes to SIAF. One, the company will ALWAYS file late, Two, the share count will ALWAYS be more than the previous report. If they would just put an end to those two items, which doesnt require a whole lot of effort, it would go along way in establishing some credibility with investors.
I will not purchase more shares until I know when the loan is approved.
Wow, so sad all that land at the MF just sitting idle and undeveloped for many years now since SIAF purchased it. It's probably a nice breeding ground for mosquitoes. At least something is benefiting from it. I wonder if we can sell the weeds growing on the site? Hell, just plant some marijuana seeds and wait a few months, sell it to the entire state of California.
Hoping someone dies is a bit of extreme even for this message board, however given the years of a falling share price I can certainly understand the frustration of a long-term shareholder.
God forbid if TRW doesn't get the $100m loan, is there a fall-back plan?
RD, page 72 states mixed seafood sales for SIAF is 1583 MT @ $19,211 $/MT or about $30.5M for 2017. This does not include sales from the MF since this operation is now under the ownership of TRW. Is this correct?
RD, I guess you saw Garret's response (see below). He says "Those mentioning 10 and 15 million shares are not “ in technical “ terms incorrect or off base, what matters is those levels of shares should not be occurring"... I wonder if he really meant this double negative "not incorrect".
_______________________________________________________________________
There should be low concern about the speculative amount of potential dilution in shares being mentioned herein actually occurring. Those mentioning 10 and 15 million shares are not “ in technical “ terms incorrect or off base, what matters is those levels of shares should not be occurring. The company and I are fully respecting all shareholders.
Please respect that lending cash unsecured to the company is helping the company and shareholders. Management is doing all they can in dealing with many challenging issues. They deserve all shareholder support. The loan remains open and no shares have been issued. When and how the best interests of the company are served and when the company is ready the company will repay part of the loan and issue some shares for some amount. All these decisions depend on many factors , but that is the likely outcome.
Please appreciate that many of us have been long term shareholder. I for over 9 years. I like many shareholder are suffering 80% losses.
While some of you have been appreciative of those that lend money to a company in need , other referring to calling names and demeaning those working with the company to help might benefit from trying to be confident that management is doing al they can in very tough near term circumstances.
I have never sold a share and have paid hard cash for all my shares. I am continuing to own and believe there is good reason for long term shareholders to be hopeful and optimistic. It is painful for sure these past years.
THANKS RD, this summary was exactly what I was looking for.
RD, is there anything positive from SIAF's report from yesterday. I'm sick of reading all the negative sh.t on the SIAF board.
Thanks a bunch
China reports 6.9% GDP annual growth.
RD, will you be commenting on the SIAF report today?
RD, can you please explain to me why the 10-KA that SIAF recently posted is some how a positive. Thanks
Well Redbull you've been posting on here along time so I will give a lot of weight to your comments.
Damm, I wish you guys that post on this board would PROOF READ your comments before hitting "Submit Post". It sure would make life a little easier for those who have to struggle to read it and figure out what the F you mean.
Warm regards,
Helium-3
Sorry Redbull, I've given up on them ever getting a loan for the MF. The recent downward trend in the PPS is pretty evident that the loan is at or near dead. They should try to sell some of their assets to pay off some of these other loans with issued collateral shares. I think RD has mentioned this in the past or something similar. Its just very depressing.
