That's odd because they came out around the 15th in September and December.
Thanks for clearing that up.
I'm expecting financials today.
I haven't heard anything about this on the board or the blog. Does anybody know what's going on with the filing? I'd sure like to read over those financials and some real PRs.
Also, someone said yesterday that there was a NSS of 1,234,000 shares or something? Why doesn't it show here: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/WNBD/short-sales
Good luck everyone. I sure hope WCSR is strong enough to clean the red stain WNBD has put on my portfolio.
That's an excellent point - I have an idea..
These recent memos are telling us that Winning Colours sells much better when the staff are aware of how well the product works.
Winning Brands should put together a small package with some free samples (pocket packs? a couple 4oz bottles?) inviting the stores to try it out on the most stubborn stains in the store. The package should also highlight the fact that water is Winning Colour's best friend and that it works just as well diluted at a 1:10 ratio. I bet the employees would give it a shot and be very happy with the results!
An employee recommendation is golden when it comes to customers making buying decisions. As a shareholder, I'd gladly foot the bill to get packages like this to all stores currently stocking Winning Colours Stain Remover. I think it would be tremendously effective and take some of the weight off Lorne's shoulders.
ECRM update on Twitter
I just stumbled across this, but it might be old news for vigilant longs:
http://twitter.com/winning_colours
"Winning Colours Stain Remover is being well received at the ECRM conference. New friends are being made already"
Anyone see the movie Inception? Looks like the idea has been planted amongst some buyers!
I'm surprised I just noticed it now! I like it. :)
Thanks for the info!
I just went to http://www.winningbrandscorporation.com/ - Is that a new commercial that it shows there? I don't remember seeing it before. It's much more fast-paced and attention grabbing! I much prefer it to the old one.
This is still my favorite Winning Colours youtube video:
I agree - he should have rescheduled this call as soon as his dashboard crashed. This is not going at all how I thought it would.
Is that Spanish in the background?
He's using a web based teleconference system to try and save some money - it seems like his browser front end must have crashed.
The next call will probably be better. :)
This wouldn't be so bad if that prick(s) would just *6.
Right on.. It's a shame some fellow investors cannot follow simple instructions. It's just inconsiderate.
Press *6 when you connect to mute yourself!

Eric,
I'm aware that Winning Brands has donated several bottles of Winning
Colours/1000+ to assist with oil spill relief efforts in the Gulf.
During a trip to Ottawa last weekend, I heard an advertisement on a
local radio station about graffiti removal in the city. I immediately
thought of Winning Brands and how Winning Colours could assist our
Capital with this massive undertaking!
I found a couple of links about Cleaning the Capital and Ottawa's
graffiti initiative, here they are:

Ottawa appears to be very serious about graffiti removal!
Here is the contact information for Cleaning the Capital:

subject Graffiti Management Idea for Ottawa
mailed-by winningbrands.ca
Hello,
I have been given your address because of some graffiti removal work that we are doing in Barrie. An Ottawa area citizen thought that you would like to know about it. We have taken it upon ourselves to start cleaning from mail boxes, as they have been neglected for too long. We find that once removed, the graffiti is not necessary replaced quickly. Therefore, the effort appears to be worthwhile. Below are typical pictures. We use our skin friendly/eco-responsible product with water and a scouring pad. It is unskilled labour and requires only Winning Colours Stain Remover, water, a scouring sponge and a bit of patience.
I would be willing to come to Ottawa and try it out there for you to see whether the experience is the same. The use of a water based clean-up lets people take action individually as soon as something goes up on their community mail boxes because it is easy to do with no hazardous materials being used.
In reviewing the graffiti management protocol in Ottawa, the following quotation is highly relevant: “Increasing community capacity to manage graffiti” Our product makes it easier for individuals in the community to make quick interventions on surfaces that are not suitable to paint over or sand blast.
Like many things in life, the problem of graffiti cannot be solved with one “magic bullet”. However, a variety of suitable initiatives, appropriately deployed, can have a significant impact in aggregate. Winning Brands may have a positive contribution to make of some sort. We stand ready to explore the possibilities with you.
Eric Lehner, CEO

Three pictures of Winning Colours in action cleaning a mailbox were included in this e-mail.
Ottawa's Cleaning the Capital had 66,500 participants in the spring. I sure hope Winning Brands has a presence there in the Fall!
Accidental double post.
I bet Eric is waiting until they acquire Current Status before he promotes the stock. I think that's a smart move!
"All we need is just a little patience."

Good point!
Another PR about the website and the official airing of the DRTV ad could be in the pipe before the conference call.
I'll overbid you by 1 day! ;) I say we see a PR about this on Tuesday!
Predicting the order and dates of the next PRs (nothing official, just for fun).
Ok, here's how I think it's going to go down.
The DRTV ad begins on June 7th. I don't think there will be another PR about this until they evaluate/tweak it after 2 or 3 weeks.
I bet the next PR will be about the upcoming conference call and we will get it before June 10th. Eric likes to do these calls on Wednesdays, so I'm going to guess it will take place on June 16th. I bet the hot topics will be the Pocket Paks and Mr. Udell’s DSD initiatives.
I think we will obtain Current Pink Sheet status before the end of June (was hoping May, but DRTV obviously took priority), hopefully this will be a PR'd before June 30th.
News of a large National Account could happen anytime after the DRTV ad starts. Maybe this will happen before the end of Q3, after a very successful DRTV run? I think that's realistic. Could be a lot sooner, but I'm not banking on it.
Hold on to your shares! We haven't seen anything yet!
According to this zoominfo.com
Eric has a Bachelor of Economics from York University.
Yeah yeah yeah.. Buy some shares already! Come back to the positive side! ;)
You can get a sneak preview here:
I cannot think of another stain removing product that's environmentally friendly and works with just your finger and water! I've seen it completely remove tomato sauce stains, red lobster butter stains, and pet stains!
The sales are improving at a steady pace and it's easy to find here in Canada. I picked some up at a Home Hardware in a small town called Elmira on the weekend.
This product is in the growth stage. With the right marketing and promotional strategy, it has the potential to become very popular! This is why I like "Help us spread the news, you win, stains lose!"
Winning Brands could get their first large order from Lowe's any minute now. Current status could be obtained before the weekend. P&G or J&J might acquire them...? You never really know. There is so much positive news coming down the pipe right now! I'd hate to be in your shoes, without a ticket to the big game!
You know how much potential this company has! How stupid are you going to feel when you miss the boat and need to buy your shares at $0.025?
Sounds good! Thank you for the prompt reply! :)
Some questions and a suggestion.
Questions:
1. Has Eric provided us with a date for the next conference call?
2. Where are we with the current status? Now that the financials are filed, I'd like to know if this has become a priority.
Suggestion:
Everyone I know who has tried the product loves it and becomes enthusiastic about it. Removing stains that have been on your carpet for months with your finger and a little water never gets old!
I think we can use this to our advantage. Consumers love getting excited about products that enhance their quality of living. I think we should change the slogan to something like "Help us spread the news, you win, stains lose."
Word of mouth is a beautiful thing!
Thank you moderators and longs! This board is great! :)
That reply was more than I could have asked for! Thanks a million! :)
I love that we have a CEO that refuses to unjustly pump the stock. With that said, the fact that he was looking into a show like Money TV speaks volumes to me! In my eyes, WNBD is extremely undervalued based on Eric's integrity alone!
I can't wait to see the financials!
Seeing is believing! I have an idea..
About 10 years ago, before college, I had an interesting job giving demos for various products at grocery stores around Kitchener-Waterloo. The company I worked for was InStore Focus, the website is here: http://www.instorefocus.com/benefits.asp
I was damn good at this job! So good that stores would regularly run out of inventory after 4 or 5 hours of my demos! This was great for me because I'd just take off. :) It's true that people make 75% of their buying decisions while they are at the store, they just need a subtle push to sway their decision one way or another.
One time I was doing Swiffer Sweeper demos at Canadian Tire, this is right when the product was brand new and nobody had heard of it yet. I was trained to do this whole presentation where I put 1 dust bunny, some scattered dust, and some hair all over this peel and stick floor, then demonstrate how well the Swiffer Sweeper cleaned it up. I did this for a while, but I wasn't keeping people's interest. So I changed it up - I let the customers try cleaning it themselves while I said my spiel. I generated a lot more interest this way, however, I kept adapting my strategy. Eventually I'd just setup the dirt, and spy on my display from a distance. There were some really cute ladies at this Canadian Tire, so I had no problem killing my time while I waited. That's when it happened - Customers would come in, see the mess, grab the Swiffer, use it and say "That's really neat!" and buy one. I completely sold out of Swiffer Sweepers before the product supervisor came around to check on me. I explained exactly what I was doing and how well it worked, she was quite impressed! I'm sure you all remember the commercial where the guy walks into a room and there's a mess and a Swiffer Sweeper, and he grabs it and starts cleaning on his own? While smiling and dancing like an idiot? I'm pretty sure that was influenced by what I did at that Canadian Tire. Needless to say, the Swiffer Sweeper took off BIG TIME!
Here's my summary. If we want to generate some stock interest, then go with MoneyTV. The fact that none of us watch it isn't a bad thing, it just goes to show that the investors it does bring in are a different breed and there's nothing wrong with that as long as they are long. I'm just afraid of it bringing in some flip-flopping pumper-dumpers. The last thing we need is a spike on our chart.
If we want to build some brand awareness and move some product, then there's nothing better than these in-store demos! I say we setup some carpet and clothing displays and let the customers stain them and clean them by themselves! When they see how easy it is, they will buy the product and tell everyone they come across about how they shot a shirt with mustard and then cleaned it up with their bare hands.
Thanks for reading this! Please feel free to forward this onto Eric if you have a relationship with him.
Gosh darnit, Dennis! How large of a 'dip' are you waiting for? I can't wait until I read some positive posts from you!
