Sounds like a increase from when I was there in May as I said only 2 people in the office and if recall correctly maybe 2 rigs in the lot. There was not a hell of a lot going on no eqiupment running but the warehouse was jamed full. They were mostly answering the phone and shipping samples from what I saw.
I also would like to know more about the details of the deal, but I am sure that will come out in time. I'm betting Charlie got into this without spending much money.
I also like the canadian connection , really can't explain why except that I have had better than average luck investing in Canadian companies (AZK TGB)in the past. Also they have a lot of natural gas and oil exploration up there.
Hi Beck when I was there in May it was Charlie & Michelle in the office and a couple of guys in the plant. Are things looking a little more liveley now?
I have had a good feeling about Mr. Diamond all along. Sure has been hard to stay in sometimes though. Maybe he is a little like a MM in that he likes to shake out the weak hands LOL.
Reply to PM yes I have talked to him way back in May had nothing but good vibes from Charlie, I just think it is time for us to know what is going on. If things are going great I have more money to invest even if they want to dilute a little more. Bet there is more money sitting and waiting for good news if in deed there is some good news. They can use that money for full page ads and I get stock in return that is how this is supposed to work.
Glad to hear it I am sure we all will be interested to hear what you find. I have made a couple of trips to Bath this summer but I really can't afford to take time from work to go snoopin around as it is a 2 hr. round trip for me. Sometimes I get down that way on business but not often.
I'm with you on this, our job as stock holders is not to market the product or tell management how to run their business. I am sure they would like to hear about any markets for the product that they may have overlooked, but marketing and management is not our job. I do think they owe us as investors a little more information about their progress in marketing and shipped or pending orders. I bought shares of their stock which increased the value of the company if I and others do not feel that management is doing a good job we should sell our shares which will drive the value of the company down. For now I am holding as I still have confidence and a nice profit too boot perhaps my greed will wipe out all of my gains but what the hell Gopherbroke has been broke before.I never invest money in the stock market that I can't afford to lose especially in pinkies.
Wonder what happend to beckpnd he claimed to live in MOP's back yard. I was hoping he might update us. Maybe his wife left him he said she would divorce him if the pps got too low LOL.
That is great news I feel if Charlie said he will try to get something out this weekend that he will "try", I just hope he trys hard.
I wonder if the CBS segment that has never been shown has anything to do with CBS's new adjenda of puting a positive spin on the whole mess. They seem to show a good bit of blue water, white sand beaches, and nice catches of fish. Not seeing but a little bit of oiled birds and marshland like they showed 2 or 3 weeks ago.
If they actually clean up this mess it will take years, if they clean what shows they will be done in 6 mos. If mop can show their product to be the best first response that would be huge as it would soon be required equipment for all off shore drilling projects. Just imagine the market put an expiration date on every bag and the demand will never stop LOL.
Go for it I don't do facebook
You got it perfect that is the place.
I put a picture of part of the MOP plant on my profile page I can't post all of the pictures in a message as I have free membership I will change it to a different one tomorrow evening. rkor has them all and has posted them before perhaps he will post them again as there seems to be quite a few new members.
If anyone wants to see the satillite of the mop plant do not Google 7 West bath road because you will get 7 west bath rd Lisbon NH.which is on the other end of west Bath rd. Just google Bath NH and look for the covered bridge which is well marked on the image. The mop complex of buildings is on the rivers edge just south of the bridge. I just checked it you can zoom in pretty good and see a nice clear outline of the buildings.
Less than 900 souls lived in Bath NH at the time of the 2000 cencus, for a simi truck to leave the plant it must pull a moderate grade, go by the only store and the village common , and through most of the village. Everyone in town will know if a large amount of product is being shipped.
Don't forget some of MOP's product will be made by Leigh Fibers. Wonder if anyone lives near that plant?
That is for sure my second cousin Earlean the one with the big gap in her front teeth could spit from The Brick Store to the Mop parking lot. I bet for the price of a cup of Green Mountain Roasters coffee one could learn a lot.
Hey Beck did you go get your bag? That is the pretense I used to get through the door once inside I was impressed with how friendly and talkative both Mr. Diamond and Michelle were. Keep us posted on what is going on down in Bath. Bath is a pretty small place I bet folks talk about what is going on when they get morning coffee at the Brick Store. I would like to spend more time poking around there myself but I live an hour away.
Having met Mr. Diamond if only for a less than half an hour I had only good feelings about him. We looked over his product and some of his plant but one thing will always stick in my mind. After a short conversation Charlie asked me what my contribution to society was? Lucky for me the phone rang and he was called away before I had to come up with an answer. I suppose I have made some small contribution to the world but I cannot put my finger on anything huge. If we are played for suckers IMO it will not because of Mr. Daimonds ill intensions. IMO Charlie views his self worth more importaint than his net worth, this may not make him the worlds best CEO but it certaintly makes him a better man than many of us. All my own opinion based on first impression and gut feeling.
For sure we are being lied to and screwed by BP and the government but it is a whole lot easier and less expensive to do it in Nigeria or some other poor country. They need only to pay off a couple of top government officals. In the US they have to spend big bucks to run those make you feel good about BP ads. Bottom line BP is not going to clean up anymore oil than it has to, the longer they screw around and do studies the more the oil gets dispersed and spread around the world to the point that it is unrecoverable. If this was not the case MOP and a bunch of other companies with good products would be flourishing now. The people running around in white suits with plastic bags and pooper scoopers are a freaking joke.
That is why oil companys love third world countries it is easier to screew them.
Did anyone watch Katie Couric lasts nite? If you listen to her you would belive that only a small portion of the gulf coast is oiled. They showed sport and commercial fishermen going on about their business as if nothing was wrong. maybe that has something to do with MOP stock prices there is really very little oil to clean up LOL. I guess BP and the government won't let them take pictures of oiled birds and dead turtles so the gotta talk about something. Makes me feel like a mushroom in the dark and fed a line of sheet.
History has shown that MOP does not put out bs pr's, the news will come in good time when they have something meaningfull to say. Historicaly thursdays have been a good day for pr's sure hope history repeats it self.
Are you authorized to hire sales reps for MOP?
That is how I have felt about this sotck all along I have flipped a few shares but have never been able to make myself sell all of my shares. I bought in on apr. 28 and have held a strong position ever since. Hind sight I should have sold them all in the 30's and bought back yesterday.
Mr Diamond told me back in May that they have capibility to clean soil in 20 cubic yard batches (proably using a big concrete mixer)and that a continusly opperating machine was being built.
I am not a very good chart reader but IMO we are poised for a big pop on any good news.
Holding at .006 something good may be about to happen
I would go with lady ga ga she could pretend she is at a ball game, that would get some media coverage.
Kobayashi Maru ? Not following the star treck connection and it's effect on mop price.
I found the rigolets clean up story at this site I don't think it is MOP watch the video and decide for yourself. http://www.abc26.com/news/local/wgno-news-rigolets-oil-clean-up,0,4785701.story
Must be the price was too low for whom ever is responsible for the 100,000+ late day trade or they are out of shares.
got a few more at .17 pretty happy about that
Moon when are you going to post a picture of this contrapton you are building? Maybe if I like the look of it could offer some venture capital.
That makes perfect sence to me. Is it ok if I do vodka and tonic I am out of wine.
I think I tried to one time on my trading account and they would't let me. Maybe I will try it again just to see what happens. I know they have made some changes lately in the way they handle pinkies. Still good to see strong buying on a price drop.
Almost .03 drop from noon-3:00 and the green side of trades stayed big. I think MMs tried to shake the tree and nothing fell off.
I think Mop has a self propeled soil cleaner in the works. At least that is what I understood Mr. Diamond to say when I visited the plant back in May. I think he said that it is being built by a canadian co. It is supposed to convert the oil that it is picking up from the soil to fuel to power itself. Does anyone know anything about this? Maybe some of you who are in close contact with Wayne could find out something.
Yes mop is taking a beating, Mop is about the only thing I am still in, cashed in most postitons and sitting on a pile of cash. I did keep my funeral home stock that kind of sums up where I feel the market is heading untill after the Nov. elections. I also have a buy in for MOP at .18 I think that will average me up to around .05 LOL. I still am hopefull MOP will take off but it will take time. Company is diluting which I have no real problem with as it is cheaper than borrowing money. Yes it is pretty hot here low 90s but we live on a rural hill top so we catch a good breeze sometimes.
Does that really work? I have read posts dismissing this practice as BS others say it is true. It makes perfect sence to me and I put my shares up for sale at a high price as you advised. I really see no harm in doing so unless I get bought out at $3.00/share. Whow that would be a bummer LOL.
Proably should not take all of the credit it was about that time that I visited the MOP plant. I asked Michelle if that was a possibility, although she did not give me a direct answer he body language ( big grin ) led me to that conclusion. These people have been planning big things for a long time they just are clasic New Englanders they hold their cards close.
