Doesn't work that way.... There are many different MM's in line to sell you shares they just purchased at .0002. Once that MM is out of the way the next one in line starts selling theirs. It's not until they see a bunch of people buying at the ASK when they raise the PPS to .0004

It is only because you bought at the Ask.... If the trade before you was also at the Ask then it wouldn't have changed however, the trade prior to you was at the Bid price. The PPS really never changed. That .0001 you are referring to is the $$ kept by the MM.

This statement by Jim is key and my opinion as to why the promotion occurred.

LCRE's illiquid charge is a self-defeating prophecy. If 35% of the trades in LCRE are blocked, how can LCRE get its volume up to a point where the illiquid charge can be removed?

I am completely new to buying stocks and will admit that this is my first ever stock purchase. I kind of understand the short sell (T+3) but I am going to ask a dumb question so plz don't hate me... If they have to clear up the shares that they have shorted, Does that help or hurt the price the stock is currently at? I got in at .0009 and I am completely fascinated with how this works.
