Well I am done. I hope you all enjoy my shares. I am going to keep watching and hope you all have luck with this one.
What amazes me is that all these years I have not seen (or recall seeing) any issues that interfered with the agriculture side of the house. Always the gold side that has the issues. We have a new tractor but no gas or dredge parts.
If the JV has as many excuses for not producing, there would be no money. 1/2 the same people different name. My opinion of course!
Still here, still poor. Every year seems to be going to be "the year". Hopefully this year it will actually happen.
Still around. Still waiting. Still poor
Still here, Still poor. Still waiting. Will this stock ever go up?
I am still just hanging around waiting to see what happens. Patience is not my strong suit, but I am trying!
The field report stated "a large quantity of high-grade concentrate has been recovered and retained for future processing using more sophisticated technologies." I am curious what these will actually yield when they get processed. Not much has been mentioned here about that. There could be a lot more gold sitting there than we think. Don't they usually process this during the rainy season?
True. Greasing the wheels usually makes them turn better!
My question is this to averyone:
If we are in the pay gravel now with the season getting short and the overburden is easier to remove next year, the agriculture is expanded, and we turn a profit this year, where are we going to be at this time next year if all goes well? I am guessing we will be in a very good place. Your thoughts?
I don't claim to own shares, I have for quite a while. Though I can honestly say I don't have as many as most on the board. I am not complaining of the farming. I am simply stating that we seem to be much better with it than the gold. We could make the farming our primary focus and show progression much easier. Maybe even bring up the share value based on that. The farming is always a staple for SGCP. I don't recall ever hearing a reason why the crops did not succeed. Now we are going to expand. That is a good thing and should really have done some good for our share price, but the let down in the gold area hurt us. My opinions of course
This secures my point of us being a "farming" company.
The thing with the farming is this. If SGCP said they were going to grow 100 more bushels of whatever next year, I could definately believe it would happeen. Though if they say they are going to add 1 dredge or gain 1 once of gold, I have a problem believing that.
I am hoping that now we are in the "pay gravel" that is all going to change. I really don't want to here the excuse of the areas they are dredging not producing gold. If they hit and they actually dredge this may be the best season so far, but we will have to stick around to find out.
That's what I have thought at this time for the last few years. Then no gold, no carbon credits, no profits. Lots of excuses and crops though.....
Then we should be a "farming" company with gold as a second interest and quit having all the hype over the gold we never seem to get. I am hanging around to see how it all ends, but the excuses have gotten a bit old over the years....Somebody always has malaria, something is always broke, the weather is always wrong, but the crops always get planted and always get harvested. I haven't seen an excuse on those yet. Maybe if you have you could share it with me. My opinions of course
Still here, still poor, still waiting. I think the next month or so should be interesting. Results of mining should tell all. I am tired of hearing about crops in the FR from a "mining" company. I think we should expand how much gold we recover. There never seems to be excuses for not planting or harvesting, but 1 person gets sick and we can't recover gold? My opinion of course.
PR should be any day now. Hopefully this year will be the year!
Lets not forget along with gold, we still have the Carbon Credit wildcard in play Good Luck All
Unfortunately, my position is to small to flip any amount and make it worth while. Unless this flys and then it would not be prudent to do it anyway. I could play a raise and drop to try and increase my shares, but with everything happening now, that may not work out.
I know how you feel Charlie. I am pretty anxious myself. Being as I am no longer in the green on this one. I lost my a$$ on a couple of others in the last few years and was hoping this one would at least pull me back to even. Then, if it runs, I will be faced with going longer and hopefully making more, or flipping to play the what seems to be usual drop........GLTY
It is true that Eye has been fairly negative as of late. It is also true that he HAS acknowledged when things have gone wrong. If memory serves, he also agreed with me that dilution done correctly could have advantages. But, he is also correct that if certain things do not change in the way things are managed and communicated it could be catastrophic and has seen it happen before. Many of us have seen what has happened before and I am sure NONE of us want that to happen again. I am sure we can all agree, including Eye, that all the pieces of the puzzle are on the table. If they are put together correctly, it could paint a very good picture. If they all get knocked off the table, well that wouldn't be nice. I would love to see Eye break even. That would make some others quite a bit. Best of luck to us all
For me, I didn't add (no money) nor did I sell. It is all or nothing for me. It's a gamble that I am gonna ride out I think. Would be nice to see this go or sink sometime soon though.......
Personally, I see another FR that doesn't show gold and doesn't have a good reason. My patience has been very good with this stock, but it is getting frustrating. If we are a gold company first and foremost, we need to get some and stop playing around. I try to be positive, but jeez! My opinion of course!
That should be assets LOL
AAAAhhhhhh....Assests.
Too true. I just guess after waiting for the last couple of years I am just excited at the prospects. It is extremely nice to finally be green! I sure am looking forward to the year and the rise in PPS that it should bring, given everything goes as planned.
amazing how this just wont stay up there. Does anyone have any stock viagra? LOL
32 Troy oz of gold is about what 50k in income for the rainy season? Not too shabby!
Good to see in the PR the bit about going to the site to look at the FR's. That will hopefully get some more info out there.
The gold is there and the equipment is there now. They just need to put all the pieces together. I have been in for a few years now as well. All I could do was average down, but didn't quite get down far enough. I am trying not to loose faith. They have a lot of cards on the table and they all look promising. I just hope they can do it! Good luck to all
Waiting and waiting.........
I am sure my patience will be rewarded someday.
I just wish this thing would hold when it goes up. I was actually in the green there for a little bit though. Come on dry season!
Come back little 17's come back! Gem, are you grabbin profits on the 16's or what? LOL
Not quite there yet. Just a hair more. But, I can be patient.
Damn, slipped back into the coffin. Just a little bit more..........
Finally crawled out of the coffin and back to even. Profit city here I come!GLTA
Nice to see that you have finally gotten a bit of what you are looking for. Your opinions have always been well founded and rooted with some true concern. For the company to set you even slightly at ease truly shows they have done something correct. Hopefully they can continue to build your confidence as time goes on. That would mean good things for all of us.
TT,
Dont forget the infrastructure needed to be able to produce. Especially in an area such as SL. You cannot bake a cake without flour, and a pan, and an oven, and the gas for the oven etc. etc. These all have to be paid for somehow. Is it not normal to start a company by selling stocks to acquire the needed revenue? I believe it is, though I personnally have never started a company myself. Others here have and could probably answer that better. Yes, it isn't pleasant when a stock price drops. But, if the reason for the drop is to provide the necessary money for building the company in order to make profits, it is worth it in the long run. Though you bought at the wrong time, the "dilution" you refer to may be the only way you will ever be allowed to break even or possibly make a profit. With no money at all, the company would simply dry up and go away leaving you with how much then? Patience is your only option. Otherwise you will have to cut your losses and bail. My opinion of course.
Good point made by Zilch. One of the dredges is a lot better than the others, so in point it would equal 2 of the 50 ton......
I completely agree with you cork.
I certainly hope that IF there is dilution, it is the constructive type. Fall is definately coming and I am indead excited. I would like to see the wildcard of CC/bio come into play soon as well.
