Happy New Year everyone. I remember the days this board was so busy and time consuming I literally spent hours reading posts and listening to conference calls and hoping a dream would come true for myself and others. Now that Petro is completely dead and the dream is gone I hope justice will prevail and the perpetrators of this scheme and their accomplices will get what is coming to them.

That's all fine and good but Owen Hawkins also stated over and over and over that things at Petro America were moving also. I will believe it when I see my "tradable shares" transferred to my stock broker.

Still waiting for shares to be verified!!!

I sent an email to verify my shares January 5th to confirmations@petroamerica.com and I am still waiting. Not all that surprising I guess.

Are you talking about the mailer we received last March updating our email information? That is the only info that I have filled out.

I will beleive it when I see it and yes I was a $100 for 100,000 investor I even have stock certificate to prove it. I never received a Petro letter you have been recently talking about. All this stuff sounds very familiar, waiting for a few documents yada, yada, yada. I won't be holding my breath. Have a Happy New Year, Good luck Petro Shareholders and by the way it's not the non-shareholders that brought demise to the company it was the incompetance of the shareholders and Petro America management team.

Mike the games have ended and litigation has begun. Petro America was a scam you and some others need to face reality.

Yeah I hope not either but he as almost like a cult following there are people who beleive anything he and his cronies are saying. I received an email from a person wanting a prayer chain forwarded on for him. Needless so say I was not a link in that chain it went directly into my deleted items.

Well one thing is guaranteed the judicical system (although slow) will follow through unlike Owen's financial, auditing, shareholder, & 3rd party system(s). He will have his day in court more like several and he is innocent until proven guilty. Who knows it may never get that far he's a pretty slick character he may (more like will)cut a deal using shareholder money no doubt and admit to lesser charges just my opinion.

C'mon dhrr06 Owen stated in his emergency call that Theresa worked hard for Petro and she deserved those things, and he didn't care that she used shareholder money. Still building shareholder value :)

I guess it remains true to follow the old adage of "if it sounds too good too be true, it probably is." Yet Owen Hawkins claims yet he was building shareholder value. I guess the White House March won't be happening anytime soon. The only marching he will be doing is in the Federal Corrections line. I think he and his associates will be looking good in orange.

If there is more why don't you post it. Need some damage control here don't you think? I'm sure that will come with Owen's call tonight. Probably more like this I'd like to give a shout out to all the Petro America shareholder's tonight and name a few in attendance. I'd like to thank so and so for all their hard work we are working 24/7 to get this trading. If it was up to me it would be trading already. You are going to be amazed by the numbers, we are building shareholder value we are a unique company. Unique is right!!!!

Well I think if there is any positive info to share by all means share it. There certainly has been enough negative information plastered all over the board as of late.

I'm sorry if it chaps your hide the whole process has been chapping mine for a while now. Owen has stated many things that just have not come to fruition. He is the CEO he needs to be held accountable.

but could you just give it to us straight? Cut the B.S. the yellow Wabbit Hats really! Sounds like Elmer Fud. That's all I want is someone to give it to me straight. It makes since about the MLM thing the person I received my shares from was/is big into MLM and had many MLM contacts. Just for the record I am getting more discouraged by the day that this will never trade. I hope I am wrong but at this point it is not looking good.

Thursday calls revisited.
Welcome to the board Way Up North! Did you happen to listen to any of the Thursday calls that Owen and Johnny put on before purchasing your shares? Why I am asking is you purchased your shares in May and some purchased as late as June who know maybe August. I've had a theory about the calls for a while now since they are all about the same week in week out Rah Rah all the time, they are no longer too informative. I think they are for recruiting new shareholders such as yourself. Even if they are transferring shares from one shareholder to another that has to be a Transfer Agent's nightmare no wonder we've had so many.

Thursday calls
I haven't listend to them in a while. They have been frustrating listening to Owen giving his rah rah speech every week building shareholder value and the attorney's should be done with the paperwork this week etc. etc.. another statement another deadline missed. Ok I'm done venting for now back to my bucket of popcorn.

nodummy your research is much appreciated, I have had questions and concerns ever since I was gifted my shares. You can bet from nodummy's recent posts I am going to ask my donor where the check was sent and to whom it was written. I will keep waiting at this point that's all we can do, I'm gonna take Harley's advice and get some popcorn.

Well Harley I certainly wouldn't call it a fast buck, because this "Church Group Sucker" has been waiting a while.

Kingent thanks for the info it's good to hear that we are moving forward. I don't like the fact that we need a private backer and not a bank. With the assets Petro is claiming it should not be a problem to get a substantial loan to buy a shell and sell on a major stock exchange rather than going the pink sheet route. Anyway I'm done venting thanks again for the info and I will have to listen to the call this evening, I haven't for a while but this one could be interesting.

This board is getting out of hand with the he said, she said stuff. Harley and FlyerFan et.al I value your opinion but I doubt if you are discouraging anyone from buying potential shares. Reddogg and Kingent et. al I value your opinion as well but I doubt if you are encouraging anyone to buy potential shares either. The fact is we are all waiting and that is all we can do. I was gifted the shares and I have been waiting about a year and a half now I know some of you have been waiting longer than that. Will it work out? I don't know I hope so. Will we be trading this month? I say hell no but that's my opinion. All I do know is we are and have been waiting for something to happen I guess time will tell this can't go on forever.

I am worried about another potential money making opportunity for Petro and that's the strips and coupon deal. I've had people mentioning to me this is the deal to get into.I disagree there is no way I am gonna get a loan from these folks, if I ever do get my certificates and it does start trading I may just dump them all although Owen discourages that. I also have a feeling that once I do sell them and get the money down the road I may have to pay that money back. There are some Maddoff investors that had to do that and thats scary.

Guys and gals don't get your hopes up about the certs coming in nine days, I have no inside info it's just that I heard this before. Why is everyone wondering about Johnny returning to the calls? I thought he wasn't apart of Petro.

Long time reader, first time poser here. I am too frustrated with all the dead lines missed. I wonder if Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, or Donald Trump would allow a deadline to come and pass? September of 2009 was tabbed the completion date, then Christmas we were gonna get quite a present, then we were gonna start the year off right, then the Petro Anniversary date, you get the picture.
Now Curious presents new info about a new Cease and Desist order for Kansas for not being registered to sell securities in the state. The date states April 30th (suspect good friday) funny I did not hear Owen mention it on the Thursday night call. I am trying to be optimistic (I know doesn't sound like it) but I am also trying to be realistic. I'm afraid I will have to continue waiting.
