Why the sudden loss of 5%?
Does someone know something the rest of us don't?
I have been away from the hub for a while. I see the news for the Allana venture is now posted.
Thank you JG for grudgingly acknowledging the positive direction of late. I would not attempt to minimize past failures and even stupid PRs. Many of us admonished YS about it in personal emails, as well as on the forums. If you want to see my acknowledgements of them you can look back at past postings.
My point is, since the beginning of 2012 YS seems to have taken the critism and stopped the wishful PRs. He is being very reserved in PRs now. Maybe you are right, maybe they could have advertised better, but to be frank with you, I suggested to him that understated PRs would be a very great improvement. The market will in the long term reward sales (without any danger of retractions).
I think 2013 could be incredible. The new sniffer has the potential of bringing in the large institutional users that, for whatever reason have stuck with inferior products and ignored Identa.
You might buy back while the price is still very reasonable and have a decent chance to get your Ks back.
I'm not sure what you are getting at RB? If it is my typo, leaving off the e from store (stor), I stand corrected. Stick around, you will see many typos with me a the kb.
What's really funny about this Disch, is that the whole SLGLF isn't worth $5.40
This pooch is history.
This line appears ridiculous to me. You have to try so hard to make it appear something is wrong here. Really JG this is incredibly petty and I can't believe anyone will take this line from you and RB seriously.
The news is GOOD! Identa is selling and being advertise by a huge retail outlet. SO WHAT if that entity has asked Identa not to mention its name directly. I have to ask you the same question I asked RB. I disclose I am a stock owner and I like to see good news. Are you an owner in a competitor? Why try to spin good news as something to be disappointed about?
The August PR about a crime lab report you will have to produce RB, I don't recall being put on "wait for" for that. The name of the drug stor is public knowlege. In case you don't know yet, it is Walgreen's. YS was obviously gagged until they began to advertise, and now there is no use in disclosing it because it is already disclosed. The last financial statement was in fact dismal, but that makes my point. They disclosed the uncomfortable, it has been assimilated by investors and a new era of openness, coupled with PR restraint (that was badly needed) has obviously begun. Why does it irk you so to admit progress by IDENTA? Do you own stock in a competitor? Come on now, full disclosure RB.
Where is Emily? I see she is not a moderator any more. I hope she didn't leave just before the good news. I expect more good new to follow within the next few months. Looking like a good Christmas for IDENTA!
Just in case you hadn't heard JG, the store is WALGREEN'S.
Touch-n-know is on their shelves and Website now and they are advertising! There will be resistance by the shorters, but that will be crushed if Identa announces more large orders by retailers. When that happens it will be a break-out. You might want to get neutral if not long. The shorters are likely about to lose their shirts.
Awesome DD! Dang! I wish I would have waited 1 week to buy mine. Could have saved 5 bucks!
This could only mean 1 thing. The sales in the stores where the kits were placed met or exceeded expectations. Now they deem this product worthy of time and money in advertising. This should lead to more orders from WG's and probably their competitors.
AWESOME!
GO IDENTA!!!
Trying to rally the squad of bashers JG? If the news continues in the vein of the last 6 months, you guys will become irrelevant if you continue to refuse to acknowlege progress.
Nice try RB
I can't imagine the motivation for trying to spin the most positive developments as disappointments, but you are going to damage any credibility you might have by continuing to refuse to acknowlege the obvious gains by this company and its leadership. This year has, beyond any doubt been a very positive year.
Sales have increased dramatically.
PRs have been honest and verifiable (even when you tried to say the products didn't hit the shelves when PRd and were proven wrong).
This is now an attractive new product on American consumer shelves which will no doubt attract investors as well as consumers.
The sniffer could well attract government agencies who were on the fence previously. The future is bright!
But you go ahead and spin with negatives from the past, maybe I will get a few more good buys thanks to you.
GO IDENTA!!
You might catch a dip before something happens. Somebody got a couple of mil last week at a really good price. I think soon, that opportunity may be gone for good.
GO IDENTA! Sell them kits!!
It's only simple if you can convince someone with money to buy this TP so you can "sell high". Oh wait, it's all electronic now. You can't even use this stock for toilet paper, so it truly is worthless.
Who would be stupid enough to finance this con-artist? He is a known out there now. This stock's only use is for some to try to make the impression that it is a GOLD stock(which is a lie) so unsuspecting investors will buy at a higher price than the flippers.
SCAM-STOCK!! Buyer beware!
See my 19014 post.
If they are selling well even without advertising, Walgreen's just may advertise them when they order the next lot. If the WG in my neck of the woods sold out (I bought the last one)already, that's a real good sign.
Although I have been very critical of YS in the past, I have to applaud his silence lately. He has evidently listened to those of us who counseled him to shut up, unless he has something that is incontrovertible to announce. I expect the next news will be very good, and this may be the last chance to buy under .001
GO IDENTA!!
On a personal note. Last night was very exciting. I went to my local Walgreen's (20 miles away, I live in the country)and decided to see if they were carrying the kits. I asked a young guy if they had drug test kits and he told me where they were.
When I got there, there was only one Identa kit. I took it and went back to the guy and asked him if they had sold many. He said he didn't know. So I made the statement that I didn't think they would only stock 1, so they must have sold some.
As I was saying this, a young lady that worked there walked up and asked what we were talking about. I told her and she said "Oh those! I have sold a bunch of them!"
Go ahead and keep the same old nay-saying up if you like. They will get a big re-order from Walgreen's (and maybe their competition too), and when the sniffer hits the law enforcement circuit, we could be holding a stock worth way more than it is now.
Thank you JG. It is clear you are motivated to observe the facts. I appreciate your opinion on the negative outweighing the bad and you certainly have reason for such an opinion.
We agree that YS has done some retarded stuff (an understatement) and has hurt Identa by reducing it's credibility on PRs to nothing. I understand that no one can take what he PRs anymore as good news until it materializes. What I have some disagreement with is the stance some have taken that they will not acknowlege anything this company does as being positive.
But there is definitely reason for longs to be optimistic, and YS has even seemed to mend his ways, but no one wants to acknowlege it. I don't really care if he goes or stays, though I tend to agree with you, better to let someone else have the helm (but that costs $).
And when you hire the right person to get a job done, no matter how much we don't like to give YS credit, that is getting the job done.
Hey Disch, In the 30 or so years Garry has been taking money from investors while supposedly digging giant rocks of yellow dreams out of the ground, and with gold having experienced some really dramatic upswings in that time, how many dividends has SLGLF paid out? What happened to all the gold?
1.You say you don't have an opinion, I assume you mean an opinion about the relative volume of the two. Then you state a very decided opinion about the motivation of both. That is of course your prerogative, to state an opinion.
2. While I agree with your last paragraph completely, it appears your distaste for Yaacov causes you to abandon simple cause and effect logic in #2. No matter how much we may not care for the man, to admit that hiring Oximeter was a good move, and then deny any credit to one's who made the move, defies the simplest logic. Couldn't it just be possible that buffoons can improve if they try hard enough?:)
I agree with most of your post and the gist of it is fair and realistic. Just two good natured questions:
1. You didn't answer the question about how RBs volume compares to Mike's, and I really am curious:)
2. You said, "Yaacov Shoham doesn't deserve any credit for this deal." and you said, "they hired a company (Oximeter) to do it". My question is, who is the "they" that hired Oximeter?
In my world, If I hire an employee that does a good job, I get a little pat on the back too:)
Walgreen's added Identa's product on their shelves for only one reason. They believe there is a good chance it will make them money. No matter how anyone on this forum tries to spin this in a negative light, this is a good thing for Identa longs.
But you guys just go right ahead and keep looking for the cloud in the silver lining.
Just curious Mosh, but how do you think Mike's volume compares to, say Richie Boy? Do you think RB has an inside deal with an Identa competitor?
Maybe you're right Stks, maybe I don't have a clue. I guess Walgreen's doesn't have a clue either? Do you have a seminar coming up? I certainly want to learn from the best and I'm sure the Walgreen's CEO would be excited to sit at your feet.
So you would have everyone believe it is an absolute non-positive that we now have stock on the shelves of a major retailer and in front of the American consumer? That fact is worthless huh?
"Why doesn't the West coast have kits?" Is that the best negative question you can dream up? Why ask such a question? I'll answer with a question equal to it: Why does the East coast have kits?
You needn't ask me about others, I don't know them personally.
That's old material RB. The longs agreed with you in the past and beat up the CEO real good. (notice I said agreed, like in past tense). The news NOW is good. Reaction is slow and tempered with some wait and see, but there is clearly a trend of improvement and increased transparency.
But you know this. For whatever reason you have decided not to acknowledge one positive thing, or should I say one thing positively. Or maybe I missed your post where you congratulated IDENTA for achieving an entry into the U.S. retail market. If I missed it, please post the # for me so I can go back and read it.
You really have to be kidding to ask that RB, on both accounts.
"Tex what does this do sniffer do exactly?" Did you really read the PR?
Let me give you just one scenario RB: Police investigating a site where explosives were used, one of the first facts needed is what explosive was used. How to determine now, let's see...oh yeah!! Let's use the sniffer around the crime scene!
I know I said one scenario, but let's go for 2. Overdose victim is near death, but what drug to treat for? Hmmm is that a trace of powder around the nose. Let's use the sniffer!!
"Oh and just one more detail please. What big news?" I am embarrassed for you on this one RB, but you asked:
It's on the shelves!!!!
No matter how anyone might want to spin it, i's big news for any small manufacturer to hit the retail shelves.
RB, you are a real hoot!
"Silence from the CEO, that's bad!"
"A PR from the CEO, that's bad!"
Entertaining!
Congratulations Identa!! It's on the shelves and if anything the lead-up was understated. This aparently really is a new era for Identa! The CEO is PRing only done deals.
There were PRs in the past based on optimism rather than dried ink on contracts, but the big news for the past year has panned out to be just that...Big News!!
The sniffer will no doubt bring about more interest by the large law enforcement agencies around the world. IDENTA is definitely moving in the right direction!!
Go IDENTA!!
Garry is the biggest scam artist still roaming free! Confidence men are usually willing to speak to anyone they think they can con. I bet if you call the slammer, Madoff will talk to you too. If anyone researches this company, they will not be swayed by talking to Garry or any hoopla surrounding the price of gold. This is a scam pure and simple.
Please, please, please check their past claims against their actual results and you will see the only chance stuckholders have of making money on this stock is to have some poor trusting soul buy it for way more than it's worth (and it's worth nothing!).
BEWARE!! If you are considering buying because of optimistic postings you see on this forum, please take the time to check the performance of this stock. There is pleanty of information because it has been scamming investors for 30 years plus!
It has never made a cent for longs. On the contrary, the CEO has used longs to fund his lifestyle and pay the private company that actually mines the ore. Who owns this private co.? Why, the CEO of Silverado of course.
Don't put one iota of weight on rising gold prices, because for 30 years, no one has benefitted from the gold these chislers have mined (if they actually mined any) except the CEO. Look at what the stock is worth after 30 years!!! Have they ever paid a dividend from these massive nuggets they advertise?
Gold has skyrocketed the last 5 years while Silverado plunged. The only hope they have of making money now is convincing suckers to give them hard earned money for worthless paper. Don't give them yours.
You could make money on this stock if you buy some now and post enough outlandish material on various forums to get the unsuspecting investor (that worked for their money) to give you more for it than you paid, but I would hate to see anyone start that kind of thing. Please check out Silverado well before buying. Oh and by the way, If you are on the Canadian ticker, you can't buy because the Canadian authorities have called a halt to it (Cease trade order) because of unscrupulous advertising. hmmm
No dreams left for this scam! Garry Anselmo is a lying confidence man. The only thing that was true on that video is the part where he said he wanted to raise 4M. Since he went public, he has only mined out of the pockets of investors.
NEVER has an investor made any money from this scam, except by flipping to a sucker. Please, please, please investigate the history of this scam before you give your money to the pumpers. There is a good reason why, with gold going through the roof, nobody wants to invest in this company.
If he was legit with what the lying video said, he would have private investors fighting to give him the 4M. He's lying again.
Canada has a "Cease Trade Order" on him and won't let him sell it in Canada. The US should throw the cheat in the slammer, and probably will sooner or later.
LOL
Take your medicine Em. If the kits aren't on the shelves by the end of September, I'll go postal on Yacovv with you:)
Put down that glass of pickle juice RB. If by the end of September the kits are not on the shelf, I'll join you in a glass of it:)
If they are on the shelves, I'll sell you a glass of koolaid, but you better save up, 'cause it won't be cheap:)
Hahahaha that is hilarious. You saying that I am harping! If you want to see what harping looks like, check your own and RBs and JGs emails.
Now that's harping! I'll never be as good at it as you guys are.
True.
I accept only the 200k number (nobody would make up such a pathetic figure). What matters to me are what's that # going to be next year, and that Yaacov keeps improving in PRs and reporting.
Correct me if I'm wrong (I know I shall be flogged for my optimism) but a 25,000 unit order is improvement in my humble opinion.
It seems that some "bashers" (your word, not mine) refuse to acknowledge any improvement, and then they call for improvement.
Not to recognize that past sales were pathetic would be akin to not realizing that having product on the shelves of a major drug store chain could expose the product to "millions" of potential buyers. I think we can recognize both.
I think we can perceive that past PRs have been way too speculative (deceptively so) and then the speculation didn't pan out. We all called Yaacov on that.
But for me, the jury is still out on the PRs since 2012. If the September thing comes about, I'll have to acknowledge that Yaacov has taken to heart the criticism and upped his game.
We might have differing opinions on what the future holds, but we agree 100% on the past sales numbers.
So Demmo, do you recieve proceeds from an Identa competitor?
All in the spirit of disclosure on both sides:)
You called me on WHAT???
The "millions" should be obvious to anyone when it comes to major drug store chains putting a product on their shelves.
Sheesh, are you for real?
