There is no more trading. Any shares that anyone still has will become a write off .Your broker will fill out a form which becomes your proof that the stock is not tradeable and you use it when you do your taxes. I need one too. I couldn't sell my remaining shares. I hate when I have to get burned by POS companies. GLTA
The true value of a company is measured by their service and/or the product they sell.If an oil company has a limited production of oil, they are not going too far. If they are pumping plenty of oil, they will thrive and grow. You don't even have to be publically listed to be in the oil business. There are plenty of independent privately held companies doing just fine.
From one of my deleted posts you can find out about the oil extraction process, such as what is on the New Miami property, and the general nature of the oil out there go to www.Rigzone.com, go to the last page, and click on heavy oil, follow the link to Schlumberger page of Heavy Oil.com.There is a wealth of info about the various processes for the geology out the .Good Reading
The true value is what is or isn't in the ground, not on the listing . You could be on the big board , but with little or no product , the pps goes nowhere.
good comparison, lol have a great weekend
I'll vouch for that . Been trying to sell off a lousy 3mil shares for a while,no selling off, only buys. You can buy all the shares you can afford, but try to dump them,. Lotsa luck.
Almost 10 AM and not a single share traded yet . There is a serious message here. Time for ALL to bail, before .$.18. IMO, this new appointment is UTOG's Albatross.
In my opinion, this 60 something yo has been, that never was, has been bouncing around the globe , which BTW ,is a sailor thing, and has BS'D h1s way into companies by dropping G. W.Bush SR.'s name to gain employment. His positions with companies is too vague .UTOG being a domestic oil company considering its small size may have very little to do with the international markets. This marginal oil producer should keep its product here .This appointment IMO will be short lived.
So you were thinking of food.Any way , after doing extensive research of the companies this "MR.BUTTERFIELD worked at , I hope we can get a clear picture of his capabilities, and his projected plan of action, not just what came out of a PR.
That's Mr.Butterfield not Butterworth. Were you thinking of food at the time? LOL
There were developmental delays months ago, not necessarily due to the management team. That may be just one of them.
Both of my buy orders went thru without a problem.I'm on Scottrade maybe that's why?
I totally agree when there is a sudden change in upper management, especially a new growing company. I have been on the short end of two other small emerging companies with sudden quiet CEO changes , and shortly thereafter , they were declared scams. (saei, mres) Both on these boards. The Zapata oil co goes way back, but thru the years it became a huge company . Seethe company profile. My only concern is what did a 24 year old sailor start doing in these oil companies? To my way of thinking " hands on " could mean anything from a roughneck to a truck driver to who knows what. Lets wait for the 8K, and then sort it out.I personally have worn every hat from helper to certified pipe and structural steel welder , to company owner of a very successful midsized mechanical contracting company.,so I know the career climb. If this new guy had direct input in the company operations he worked for then he might be an asset to UTOG, even if there is still a grey cloud over the company.
If any one is interested in the profile, and evolution of the companies Mr Butterfield listed as having " hands on " experience in go to www.funding universe.com, provides alphabetical listing of company histories, and www.hoovers.com for company profiles of Harbinger Group, formerly Zapata Corp..These sites provide extensive info on the companies Mr. Butterfield worked for.The info is quite impressive to see how these companies evolved through the years. If Mr Butterfield had managerial, engineering or any form of decision making capacity with these companies ,then it looks like a plus for UTOG. Hopefully the forth coming 8-K will provide his working history.
For someone that thinks he knows what he's taking about , you sure are giving him a vote of confidence .Did you read anything about his supposed background, his alleged accomplishments.Maybe, maybe not. We all read the published PR. Maybe we should all wait and see if anything news worthy pops up, but I for one will take this appointment with a very large grain of salt. Before you pass judgement on a fellow investor take a course in LOGIC 101.JMO.
Looks like the captain jumped off the sinking ship. How noble of him.Maybe he knows things others shouldn't .Anyone know anything about this new guy or do you just take him at his word? I smell. a sea rat.LOL.BTW, any new filing with the SEC for management change?--So goes UTOG
I follow different oil & gas reporting news services, RIGZONE being one of them , not once has any news of this company's activities from land aquisition,to drilling, to oil show- nothing, nada, zero, . I wonder why that's so?. IMO, any company would want the more news the better to be announced in as many places as possible. It's just good business, not to mention the free advertisements. It doesn't matter what a company is listed on. Even private companies stike oil. It's a shame that this company may not become one of 5000bpd companies . Again JMO. Good weekend to all.
Not so fast Tink, this stock is going down faster than it will go up. Oil prices are depressed, exploratory oil juniors take the biggest hit when the market is like it is, so my crystal ball tells me that we're looking at $.27 by next week.Management knows it can't turn a decent profit with oil prices at $85 a barrel and all the expenses being what they are . This company will just drift along motionless for a while , and you guys will just keep clamoring about the next insignificant rise in the share price, like you.ve been doing for months. At least in July the pps was around $.53. Look at it now.JMO.
This company and its stock are going nowhere fast. It don't matter what charts it.s on, oil selling on the market for $82-$87 a barrel make this a losing proposition when production costs are between $50 -$60 per barrel based on " ALL" the costs to produce the oil, and there still hasn't been a report of how much oil is down there . So don't look for accelerated work in the field either. JMO.
I've been trying to dump a lousy 3mil shares for the past two weeks. The sells never went thru.
UTOG---Because its a certain type of pattern and different scenarios that emerge that have the making of what look like scams. If there was serious oil on this property, and I mean real oil that don't cost "big bucks " to produce , the big guy's would have bought this land long ago. They're already making boat loads of $$$$$$ 1000 miles east. That's real oil, not this tar below the ground here. That's my opinion , but there is enough fact herein to make it so.It's easier to set up a scam when oil is only showing, not flowing , and UTOG knows it
This is my take on UTOG from recent info I came across on the OTC Markets Analysis & Quotes website,. Very informative BTW.Utog came up on the Grey Market as we all know ,but they will not give an analysis except for a CAVEAT EMPTOR warning - buyer beware. I sold all my shares. The grey's pinks ,what ever will have an affect on the pps, but not totally. All the "oil" they are taking about , is just that right now. It may be in the ground but not on the truck.I don't like that not one mention in Rigzone , OIL & energy news after all this time. Don't go by all the opinions on this board , as valid as they may be. All our opinions won't put the $$$$$$ in your account.
I am happy right now,UTOG held its own the market was ok , and it's Friday 5 o'clock somewhere. A good weekend to all.
Take what you read with a grain of salt, no matter who pays for the advertisements.Whether a company is legit or not , they will spend money to promote their product or scam. There is oil in the ground , but not on the truck yet., so there is NO income , they are still exploratory. The company hasn't spoke of the projected BOPD, so anything is possible.
The driller might be looking to drill a water supply well before drilling another oil well.JMO
I hate to say it ,but after looking at the past charts, reading the board postings,IMO there aren't any.If you find any let us know. I will do more DD before I get in too deep.GLTUA
What's not to love ,.0001 pps, possible scam, dirty deals, I couldn't be more excited about owning PMDP....LOL
RE KLee 1128 According to UTOG's own statement "steamflooding " will be employed to extract the oil from undergroung. The water used to generate high pressure steam must be free of contaminants, anti-freeze chemicals,.All operations will take longer working in the cold and deep snow. The company's own statement for the delay in drilling in the New Miami property was due to heavy rains and flooding. Why should it be any faster or easier in -30 temps and snow? One should work outside in intense heat, Cold and snow before making inexperienced statements.
Is it anything like the SAEI fake gold mine scam. At least I made $$$$$$$ with that one . Lost some too .Same scenario, different players.?. Is Russia involved along with Canadians? LOL
IMO, by the time all this infrastructure work gets done , they will be going into the cold winter months, I don't believe that too much production, or the work required leading up to production, will take place.Montana, and all those northern most states are FRIGGIN cooooooooold. So even with all the paper work in order, the stock will be stalled, and of course the pps.
Is that you ,involved in another scam stock? What's the deal with this one Is it like dejavu all over again {MRES}? I had some loose change rolling around and picked up 3mil shares
Even if the stock price was $ 10 , you can't make any money if it goes sideways.
Maybe that would be true 6months ago when the pps was climbing, but now I wouldn't exactly call going from..54 to .56 a pump, and with only 70k-90k shares trading daily, there is no attraction.I have never shorted a stock either, and don't plan on ever doing it . I do fine without resorting to that .Although I would love to see a couple of candlesticks. I guess we just have to wait for the right news to make that happen.
I think thats why a lot of people thought it was a P&D at that time .The pps was taking off without any justification. I also hope the shorts don't kill it like they do so many decent pennies
For that Montana oil, it takes 2-4 barrels of water to produce 1 barrel of oil
The research you did on the company is all well and good, but the rael research has to do with the oil and al the necessary work and resources that will be required in order for this company to be a producer. Time wise 10-18 months, IMO based on other exploratory oil co's I follow. There is no infrastructure out there, they are basically starting from scratch. This thick heavy oil takes time to process.Once the estimate of how much oil can come out of any given well, then this stock will take off if the numbers look good.
AAST is a penny stock mining company just like a thousand others , including countless exploratory oil companies, that started out ,and hundreds of biotechs, and pharma's. The list is endless .They don't all make to the big time , but they should not be faulted for trying , nor do they have to go public unless there is a need for capitalization. If thats the route that company management chose, then that's where they will start, and hopefully continued growth will follow.
You are absolutely right, many of the tech stocks today started out as pennies in the '80's.Pennies ,micro caps, could actually grow , if they have a saleable product or service, and aren't sucked dry by the MM's ,and shorts as they are trying to grow.
UTOG is NOT drilling in the Bakken Shale formation, I wish they were.
If you don't mind posting the latest phone number and the e-mail address, I will try to give them a call.My interest in MRES has faded, but if there is a shot at making some of my $$$$ back and redeeming myself with a couple of family members that I recommended buying into the stock, then I will do it.Give me the NY phone number since that one is close to me . If there was an address to go along with that phone number , I would knock on the door also.,but it probably cross links somewhere in the world. Too bad, I was considering going to Kazan, and knocking on a few doors over there also.Right now the phone number will suffice. Happy 4th to all
