Thanks for being willing to go. Having you there will be invaluable to the rest of us. I am sure the plane ride will be pricey booking at this late date. I think Dallas would be the closest major airport to fly in to then straight out I-20 east to Marshall. That drive will be around 150 miles one way.
Sir, I would like to share in the expense of your journey to the Markman. I know you will have to fly, possibly stay over and miss a days work. How would you like to receive my contribution? Thanks for being willing to go!
Respectfully, please check your math.
That would have given roughly six months for mediation as both parties agreed on a mediator on April 19th. Perhaps the Judge set this deadline to encourage settlement quickly after the findings of the Markman.
The deadline to complete mediation is 8Oct. Only one reason I believe the Judge will rule quickly on Claim Construction.
Ditto!
Thanks for the response. I would have thought that the Judge would have ruled within a couple three weeks window just to help save effort, time and money. You are certainly right, the courts move at their own pace on their own schedule. I remain cautiously optimistic that we will not only recover our investments but actually make some money!
Why do you think the Judge has not ruled on Tmobile`s motion to dismiss, or have I just missed something?
I have a call into Spencer Markle`s office to hopefully get an answer to this question. Will let you know if and when they call back.
Really DSU,Really? That is what you ascertained from my post? Wow!
L, I cannot answer all of those questions. My point was that leaders in communities do not elect people that are dishonest to lead their civic clubs.
I know no more about this than you do but I can say that there are always two sides to every story and that sometimes "the other side" may not always be able to tell their story right then. Mrs Pierce has a regular job, she is President of a club that is very active not only locally but internationally, she stated at the forum that she would be working with Al Chavez to get the accounting work done, plus trying to get this settlement with Daic finalized. My guess would be that she is doing the very best that she can under difficult circumstances. That is alot to pile on one plate! JMO!
I hold the CEO responsible for non-compliance,lack of communication or incorrect 8k`s.
DSU, I have always respected your opinion and critical thinking skills even though I may not always agree with you.
I find your comments in this post offensive and unnecessary.
You have a right to your opinion,so do I! It is obvious to me that you do not respect mine.
I have been away from the board for awhile. I am saddened to see that it has taken on somewhat of a Vigalante mentality IMO. I will not enter that fray but I would be remiss if I did not make just a few comments about the character assasination of Kyle Pierce on this forum. IMO, Dave might have saved the company but Ms Pierce has been the glue that has held it together.
Kyle is the president of the Wilshire Rotary Club of Los Angeles. As a fellow Rotarian I can tell you that one cannot and will not be elected president if they are a liar, cheat, thief or conspirator. Rotary clubs consist of business leaders and individuals that value others above self and are compelled to live their lives in accordance with the 4-way test. Many of you have mis-judged her character.
As I stated in an earlier post immediately after returning from the forum, Kyle made herself available to talk and answer all of the questions that she could. She stood her ground when Dave verbally tried to intimidate her. I believe that is the reason he displays such contempt for her. She just will not do what he says just because he says it.
I am grateful to Dave for what he did to help "save" the company however I do not believe he has a definitive plan to move us forward other than to litigate, litigate, litigate! I will also vote my shares for a change. Reference my post#48453.
Thank you!
Help me with this, why would the 10/24 deadline be removed when it has not even occurred yet? We would still have 3 working days to file a completed contract before being in default, right?
"Looks like people are starting to abandon the sinking ship". Just a comment to BigRcat45`s post.
Personally, I will either lose big or win big on this one! No in between!
From my experience in the business world it is not uncommon to take 30 to 45 days to grind out the details of an "Agreement in Principle". I certainly hope along with the rest of you that our management team will be able to make it happen. I have faith that they will get it done! If they don`t then I see us as being in some real trouble. Until then I am watching, waiting and doing a whole lot of praying!
Let em go!
Thanks Sir, I really appreciate all of your effort to get this done! Great Job!!!
Thanks Sir! You are incredible and wise way beyond your years!!!
I had never spoken to CT or Sharma before the forum. It was obvious to me that Christian and Akshay are not only friends but good friends. I also believe that was the driving reason he agreed to present. As I stated earlier in the week owning 200,000 shares also has to be a motivation. As I also mentioned before Kyle, Christian and Paul Storm all made themselves available to shareholders and their questions for about 15 hours on Saturday. They did not have to do that.
For those of you that think the forum was a waste of time,we now know what it will take to get the financial records and thanks to Sir and all those contributing we will have them soon.
Great Post, sound logic, invigorating humor!! Makes perfect sense!!! Thanks for the help in sorting this out!!!
I did not ask that question Litton and do not know if anyone else did. It was my impression that everyone was there on their own dime but I could be mistaken about that.
As I said before,I believe he needs to resign. He does seem to be disinterested! He should have been at the forum! I too agree that he needs to do some explaining regarding the financials. As far as being Dave`s puppet, I cannot speak to that.
Last I checked LD he was still a director. I really wanted to ask him some question about the financials. I wish he could have made the forum. Financials are supposed to be within his realm of expertise so I thought he might be able to shed some light on that topic.
I would also like to add that Akshay Sharma also made himself available for about 8 hrs on Saturday. He answered many technical questions for those that stayed late to ask! I also believe that he and CT are good friends. I realize Sharma owns 200,000 shares... but that is not the only reason he is helping, and he IS helping!
You are absolutely correct. Dave does deserve alot of credit for past actions. I also am focused on the future of our company. That is the reason that I believe that he should allow an unbiased opinion to be appointed to the board until we can have an election. If we are going to move forward we are going to have to work as a team. I am looking at this from a business perspective. I do not feel we can be successful with all of the accusations and backbiting that has been going on!Continued Impass will mean failure to this company. My point here is if one lone shareholder does not offer to cut that check for $7000.00 we would not be moving forward because of impass! Thanks to him the rest of us have stepped up to help this company move forward! Again, IMO Kyle and CT will get it done if we will help!!!
You are right resolve! I believe a single shareholder paid for the forum.
Kyle Pierce, CT and Paul Storm made themselves available to shareholders for about 15 hours on Saturday. They answered any and all questions. Paul Storm obviously could not speak specifically to some. They did not have to be that accessable and they did not impress me as people with something to hide! In fact Kyle and Christian are using every resource they have to make this company work in spite of very difficult circumstances. They have and are using their money and friendships to get the best possible people to advise and help us be successful. I will remain fully invested because of them! They will move us forward if we let them IMO!
I was very dissappointed with Dave`s presentation. He was condescending, combative and threatening in speech. He insulted Kyle Pierce which caused almost all of the female attendees to leave the room. It was a classless act of which I believe he should apologize for. He insulted Paul Storm, the lawyer that I believed he actually paid for and refused to take his advise!
There were many that stayed to hear Dave`s side of this and our officiers allowed him to take the microphone even though he was not on the agenda to speak. A gift to him as far as I am concerned. He abused that privalege IMO by the method he used to communicate. After the initial insult directed at Kyle most everyone that didn`t leave got up and moved to the back of the room. Like I said before, scary.
I went to this forum with an open mind to try to understand the dynamics involved. My conclusion is that we can succeed if we all pull together. I believe that anger and bitterness clouds Dave`s judgement now. It would be better for him to resign and do what he is going to do as an independent shareholder. I also believe that any director that did not care enough to attend should also resign. As far as I am concerned Walsh should also go. I am sure some will take exception to my opinion. That is OK! This is JMHO!!!
Grandslam, you made it home yet? I am just leaving LA. Really enjoyed talking to you
Litton, are you sure you were not at the forum? You hit the nail right on the head! I will also say that Dave's communication style really scared my wife! Heck, I guess I'll admit it frightened me too!!!
Hang in with us Coug. Against all odds we just may get this done.
Sir it was a real pleasure getting to know you. I will be contributing to the cause Monday when I get home. Thanks again for maintaining the coolhead and getting the job done!!!
Sir, here at the hotel and would love to meet you and some of the other owners.
If the BOD and management really are in tune with what is happening then I would hope they would have enough foresight to answer all of the important questions before we get a chance to ask them. I agree that their attitude in doing so will be telling. I only hope that they do not think that they can bluff their way through this. I do not think that they will. I believe that they have something important to tell us and that they will be prepared to do so. I am going to continue to give them the benefit of the doubt until I hear what they actually have to say. We shall see! I am looking forward to being there and meeting some of you. I will be killing two birds with one stone. My youngest daughter lives and works in LA so I am also looking forward to the visit. She is also a shareholder!
I was cut from the competition so I am leaving for the forum on Friday!
Thanks again for your service to our country!!!
I admire you for your patience and longsuffering. My perception is that we will be rewarded for staying with the company. I am looking forward to attending the Forum in person. I am hoping we will know a whole lot more at its conclusion so until then I will continue to buy at what I believe to be really cheap prices. Only time will tell!
I have been and will continue to buy up until the Forum. My broker has been able to quote a bid and an ask every day that I have placed a trade. Every trade that I have placed at the quoted ask has filled within a few hours. I really have found it somewhat easier to trade while on the grays than trading on the pinks with the only difference being a minimum $26 broker fee!
The redundantcy here is killing me. Some of you guys are laying a real thick smokescreen! Keep it up, I am enjoying the cheap shares!!
Hopefully what he has to say will be worth it!
