I wonder what kind of succession plan the comapny has.
It would seem that if the Medizone leadership team cannot generate interest and sales now they likely never will.
Thanks Power and Spu for the responses (I think) I didn’t know they changed mfgs as I stated that I’ve been off for a while so that was good to catch up on. The sarcasm is always nice. I thought my comment about drifting lower was pretty factually accurate and not worthy of a “if you’re not a believer get out” insinuation. Again, I’m not going anywhere, been here over 15 years just want a return on my investment like everyone else. Thought asking a question on a stock message board was the place to have a factual conversation about MZEI.
I've not been on the board in quite some time but I see the share price has continued to drift lower. We are half way through Q1. I thought there were supposed to be 40 or so machines sold commercially by now. Am I correct or no? Did that happen?
or 2014...2015...2016...Just frustrating. And for those who typically say "just sell then" I'm not selling. Voicing my frustration is all.
Who bought these units that the comapny speaks of on the Strategy page? How many did they buy? if they have had them since April then where is the data to support the soft launch
Initial Sales of AsepticSure™
Commencement of commercial deliveries began in April 2012
Medizone's target is to achieve profitability by the 4th quarter 2012
Q3 almost in the books. Wonder what Q4 will bring.
I've not been on in a while but caught up on recent posts. Appears as though (still) nothing is really happening. does anyone know if MZEI is even going to participate in FIME this year. I thought it was in August, or did it already happen
what are your calculations?
actually I am one of them. and while i do complain I also offer discussion points, so let me ask you this. How do you feel about MZEI operational plan, marketing plan, sales plan, ramp up plan, distribution plan, process imporvement strategy, lean manufacturing plan. I'm not satisfied with what I know at this point, I do not plan on selling anytime soon but would like to discuss so your thoughts please
after 16 years not a chance.
We will be having the same conversations a year from now. Nothing will have been sold and FIME 2013 will be the show of all shows to tell the world MZEI has the machine that solves the MRSA issues, kills bbs, kills this kills that........., but it is only in a lab right now and will be available for public sale in a year or so as we want to be sure to have all issues worked out. We have a real cool picture of the machine you can look at. Rest assured we have buyers lined up and ready, we really do, 2014 we will begin to really sell and by the end of the year we should be getting product out the door so customers will have machines in 2015. 2016 will be a great year for MZEI................
Oh yea, Mr. or Ms buyer it takes approximately 2 hours to clean a room so that bed bug problem that you have in your luxury hotel with 1,000 rooms will only take 83 days to slove. We can cut that time to 8 days but that will cost you about $1,000,000, but you will have to wait until 3rd quarter of 2016 to get a machine because we have run into some issues with the manufacturer getting material............
Funny, my sites are set much lower as well. I'd be happy to see .80 again.
As we move into the second half of 2012 I'm becoming more confident we will begin to hear the drum beat of "2013 or 2014 or 2015 or....... are going to be great years for MZEI"
Still holding so I hope they start selling something soon.
does anyone know of progress on the projected 40 units to be sold this year?
although i should have also added, not terribly surprised.
not me, I'll be real dissapointed if we get into late this year and nothing has happened.
significant growth in 2013 or 2014? Starlifter, i hope you're right because I'm sure i'll still be hanging on then but if we get out to the end of next year with no market penetration I'm reletively confident someone else will and this may never get off the ground.
.17 and almost zero interest, lack of a solid marketing and sales strategy, missed target dates.......frustrating.
interesting comment......I was at a conference in Miami last week and the convention center hotel had an option of "buying up" to an ultra clean room
unfortunately (and I hope I'm wrong) but the implacations are that we will be sitting here in December saying "2013 or 2014 or 2015.....is going to be a great year for Medizone. Holding (since about 1996)but frustrated
hope so....we are more than half way through Q1.
or they sell something.....
and......MZEI is back in the teens. Quite frustrating. the dreamer in me keeps me hanging on for the big win, but from a practical stand point I'll be happy if this thing gets into the .30s again.
i agree with you. We will probably get a very feel good message from MZEI around Christmas talking about all that has been accomplished in 2011 and that 2012 looks great. We've heard that many times over. What I think we all want to hear is there is a marketing plan and a sales strategy. I would like to hear we have contacted Atlanta Health Systems or you name the city health systems and they have decided to implement MZEI product into thier hospitals and this is now policy and they will be ordering X amount of these things. Anyone on this board talking to doctors and them being exicited is fine, but they are the end users. The administraters are the ones making the buying decissions. One hospital at a time is a good way for all of us tobe on the wrong side of the dirt before this company actually makes some money. It would be nice to know if there is a plan to contact the VA at at the Federal level, or ABC school district, or ABC State college or........
Ok, MZEI has a good idea, a patent (more to come), and someone who can make the product all real good news. That is however the same thing many others have for many other products. Now it is time to execute a sales and marketing plan. Good ideas are great, but if no one can sell the value of those products no money is made. I think we are all waiting to see the sales and marketing plan executed. Also, in EM's statement i believe he said MZEI was now able to product product for the unit(s)ordered at FIME. Does anyone know the number?
Have a great weekend
thanks
sorry for being too sensitive. We all want the same thing. have a great day.
sorry for not being clear Phran I was hoping for more than a computer generated photo. As you are, I'm waiting for sales but they need something to sell and I would like to see that. Thank you for your sarcasim....Always nice to get a sarcastic remark thown out for voicing an opinion. I'll try to do a little more cheer leading next time......
it's been a couple of months since I've paid much attention to this stock with execption to seeing the price slide downward. I just jumped on the MZEI website and it appears as though they still only have a picture of the product. That was disappointing, but not terribly surprising. I'm looking forward to going back and reading some of the posts on this page to see what has been going on.
i agree. MZEI does not have a retail product to sell. Being that it is not a retail product it would seem to me to make more sense to be advertising in a trade magazine or an industry specific news letter or something. Better yet, hire someone to get infront of buyers. Buyers are paid to talk to sellers. If there really is a product to sell, then get someone to sell it. A computerized picture would not motivate me to buy this. At some point an actual product will need to be available for people to see
it's been a while since I looked through board posts (or posted) but I've been following MZEI none the less. I may have missed some earlier posts discussing sales and a plan. My question is what is next? FIME was the "next big thing". Can someone tell me if they in fact sell 1 unit? Did the potential customer actually pay them anything and is there a lead time? More importantly is there a plan yet, beyond just waiting for the patents to be official? I saw the computer generated photo. Is there an actual photo?
Thanks
Buggs, I think it's reletively safe to say that deals haven've been closed yet as I would assume if deals were closed there be some revenue or projected revenue, some sort of announcement beyond "commercialization is on track for later this year" Does anyone have any reason to believe that commercialization will be ready by FIME? I hope so but I'm not confident based on Ed's comment of "later this year". And .18 per share, what a great chance for some people to get a good price to buy in at. Unfortunalty many people stated this at .40, .35, .30, .25,.20.....
I can't figure out if I'm glad I bought in 16 years ago or if I feel like a sucker for buying in 16 years ago. With the DJII doubling approximately every 8 years I probably would have been just as well off putting that money in an index fund at this point......not selling now but very frustrating.
i think it is just as important as you do NSD, the issue is, is there is no answer to these questions and there is no plan either. I've stated many times as well, with out an operational plan, sales channel, marketing plan, or distribution plan MZEI has nothing. They are also most likely just wasteing money attending the trade show if this is the case. It's gonna cost about $45k to make one of these machines and they will sell them for about $90k......Without a machine to show anyone, how does anyone even know if a machine exists, and if one does how can they say they know the cost to manufacture if only done once or at most a handful of times in a non production setting? Maybe attending the show and hoping someone will buy them outright is the plan, but agian with no plan and no money comming in that will be a hard sale. Unfortunatly I think we are the teens and low twenties with people saying "soon things will happen" for the foreseeable future. It was over a year ago the Threw predicted $4. I think .50 may be a bit of a strech now.
i don't get it, if the machine is ready and will be presented at a trade show, why not just let people see it now. Why not communicate an operational plan, why not communicate a sales strategy? Would that not draw interest? Would that not have some positive impact on the share price?
I was at a trade show last week and there was this guy with a product "that will change the way we treat back care in the US and the world" Well he had no sales strategy, no customer base, could not describe his manufacturing plan clearly or quickly, what he did have was two people walking around wih him talking about how great this product was. People just thought he was odd. Not saying this is what is going to happen but I am saying there better be a plan, the plan better be communicated well and there better be some orders taken at this show or there is a very high risk of looking like the guy I saw last week.......and the share price will still be in the low .20s
i would just like to seeing some of these things selling for $90k+
and the frustration continues........So the big plan is to hope for orders from a trade show?
I'm losing my mind. wrong time......
i'm on the call (916) 209-4534 and nothing. will try the other number now.
Thanks for the discussion Manti and Phran.
then your comment may or may not be probable either and we are both just guessing. I guess we just wait and see.....
but if people are filling up on shares and there was an anticipation of positive news and news of the con call was reaching large amounts of people wouldn't the demand cause an uptick in share price?
