That is very encouraging! Thank you!
Does anyone have insight as to why we are up almost 20% including after hours trading?
Don’t know but I think there’s a fair chance Thom didn’t have all the eggs in one basket.
Worlds’ Relationship with Jordan Freeman Group Terminates

Interesting observation.
It’s encouraging and it would be nice to hold and improve on these modest gains.
The expression all hat and no cattle comes to mind.
You might want to read post 46637 from Sept. 4th.
Note that Nanoscale will also be there.
Agree!
I guess you can say there were some holes in the previous drilling program. As a result, EXIM isn't wholly satisfied.
Have a great weekend everyone! I'm thinking better times are ahead.
C’mon! Mark has a lot of shares. If the company does well, he will make a lot more money than his paychecks. He and the entire management team have a lot to gain from the company’s success.
It sure sounds as though the company is seriously cash strapped now. I hope things do turn around before the end of the year, but at the moment it isn’t a good look. Still thinking this will happen but it is taking much longer than we have been led to believe.
I wasn't remotely thinking NFTs again. I'm pretty familiar with MRMD. For one thing, I think Thom's involvement there years ago shows open and outside-the-box thinking. I believe he's the type of individual who can spot emerging trends. So, I'm curious where this company goes and what new opportunities are on the horizon.
These are helpful as well. All provide more info about the Jordan Freeman Group. I'm wondering when Thom is going to hand over the reins. It isn't clear to me how Worlds licensing these retro games and children's books provides revenue. Something in the 3-D gaming space or that allows a multi-player experience for these existing games? The ZOOM platform (which is free, I think) is already being used. The games are available on Steam which has broad reach. So, how does Worlds plan to make this content that they have licensed available and generate revenue? The press release says, "In early 2025, Worlds intends to launch Worlds’ Platform, a new ZP-esque website and platform." Will this replace ZOOM? Will it be free? I guess we just have to wait and see.
Is a possible the payment has been made already? They wouldn’t need to disclose that immediately—We paid the bill on time.
Thanks!
Up 23% including after hours. Anyone have insight why?
That original post was not made in response to you. If you go back you will see it was not in response to anyone. Please give it a rest.
Indeed, words have meaning. So, as the author of those words, I have attempted to correct your misrepresentation and clarify your erroneous interpretation.
Once again, I shall politely request that you not mischaracterize my words and not take them out of context.
Dave, I made no such inference. The point had to do with risk taking and the unwillingness to spend a little additional money for the potential of high returns and the possibility of missing an opportunity. I didn't imply or infer anything about wasting time. I will close on an area of agreement--it would be nice for everyone here to make a lot of money on this investment.
I stick with the statements I made, on the day I made them, for the reasons stated. The predicates didn't materialize--news didn't come out and cheap shares were not hard to get. That doesn't make the rationale incorrect or indefensible, but I'm not revisiting this with you any further. Prospective decision making and retrospective reasoning are very different. I am not trying to convince you of anything, but out of respect, please do not mischaracterize my comments as indefensible, and if you are going to repeat them, please include the appropriate context. Thank you!
Since you brought up a previous comment of mine (yet again!), my suggestion was predicated on news coming out very soon and cheap shares being hard to obtain. Neither of those predicates materialized and, I think you are smart enough to realize that. So, repeatedly bringing this up out of context leads me to question your character, your intelligence, and/or your intellectual honesty. And, just so you know, I don't typically click emojis on this message board.
To refresh your memory about what you claim to be indefensible, here is what I previously posted when there was heightened expectation about forthcoming news:
"Just my opinion, but I think bid sitting this stock at this time isn't the best strategy. I consider it low risk no reward. Shares are hard to get at the bid. Maybe you could pick up a couple of thousand. But if you wanted more, you have to pay ask..."
When understood in the context as originally articulated, there is a very sound basis for this approach. You are welcome to disagree, but it is a mischaracterization to claim this is indefensible. It should not be necessary to explain this reasoning again, but perhaps you forgot the rationale. GLTY.
NioCorp Satisfies Remaining Obligations Under the Yorkville Convertible Debenture
CENTENNIAL, Colo. July 22, 2024— NioCorp Developments Ltd. (NASDAQ: NB) (“NioCorp” or the “Company”), is pleased to announce that all remaining obligations under the original $16.0 million of the convertible debenture that was issued in March 2023 to YA II PN, Ltd., an investment fund managed by Yorkville Advisors Global, LP (together with YA II PN, Ltd., “Yorkville”), have been satisfied.
"NioCorp is pleased to have extinguished this debt and we look forward to continuing our efforts to secure sufficient project financing necessary to launch construction of our Elk Creek Critical Minerals Project in Nebraska," said Mark A. Smith, Executive Chairman and CEO of NioCorp.
Big price increase today. Is there something behind the bush?
I agree that the battery market is much larger, but I believe the REE are for the magnets in the motors and not for the batteries. This is good because battery technology is evolving very quickly and that impacts battery materials such as lithium and cobalt. Niobium has shown promise in some of the solid state batteries. Hopefully the magnets needed for these electric vehicles and other things such as weed trimmers, etc. will continue to require REE.

Don't know what it means
How do we go from shackles to shekels? Will Mark lead us to the Promised Land--the one flowing with milk and honey? We are wandering in the desert and I am wondering if there is enough water to last until we all die of thirst. Despite my extreme disappointment, I am trying to keep the faith. Have a good weekend all.
The less dilution the better but a share price well north of $10.00 is a step in the right direction.
Weak. Did you read through the analysis or just filter through biased eyes? Are you open to the possibility that the next FS numbers might even be better, including CAPEX? Other than name calling this analysis utter garbage, can you offer substantive criticism or is trash talk all you got?
What parts of their analysis are you disputing?
Yes. Sagittarius posted it and I stickied his post.
I too questioned that. Perhaps Jim can answer?
I made the report a sticky post.
Very comprehensive report. Thanks for posting! Covers all the updated factors such as Al-Sc alloy and Railveyor. The projections are explained in detail as to the underlying assumptions and financial analysis methodology. I encourage everyone to read this.
As I see it, the primary use of the REEs that Elk Creek may produce are mostly around magnets for EVs. Ten years ago, the future development of EVs and electrification was uncertain. Still, the dependence on China was known and a credible argument can be made to include REEs in the earlier FS. A retrospective look understandably makes one question the decision making at the time. I am not bothered by the failure to include them until now.
I think the REEs are legit.
