60m is just $6k at this point, don't forget that...
There is no news on 10K. How do you know they filed it today?
Good info..I have a question for you, not sure if I can reason it out...Why do you think the stock price or volume is picking up then. It's not that investors don't know about the stock because not too many day back volume was a lot higher than today or what it has been recently? thanks!!
Exactly like you were saying...good news out today. Let's hope tomorrow is a good green day.
Look at this...came out just a little while back (got it off Google finance)

SSSSWWWWWWEEEETTTT...Time to go up again..glta..
It will open around .012..........that is what current bid/ask is telling me....so don't fall for this pre-market move in my opinion!!
Thanks!!
Neither does it seem to show up on musclepharm website!! Wonder how authentic this new is......I will be cautious at this point, just a small spike out of no where. Also, important to see that volume spiked greatly but price did not pick up as much - not a good sign!!
Just two cents of my input......I don't see it lasting too long!!
Well i think its the reverse. If BK was coming, I don't see a big reason why they would want to dilute the existing SH structure. From what I feel from following this stock for a long time, they need all this money to continue the research they are doing on their products and investor keep on pumping money in hoping they will get FDA approval one of these days and they will get a huge return on their investment. Take it for what its worth, just my feel of what is happening here........
With only 339,000 shares traded with one trade being a little over 133,000 @.0016 ($213) is not penic selling by any definition....there is just no interest in this stock, that's what is going on....
Having been around for the number of years I have been, I won't be surprised if all of a sudden we see some buying/price spike though.....Hope it works out for you guys!!
Hey there....seems like its moving up a day earlier than we thought. I thought would be this Monday but hey more money is not bad by any measure, right..;) Hope the trend continues and builds now!!
It was nice to read about your thoughts in the past few days - I think everyone should be contributing in a positive conversation rather than getting personal or making lame comments....GLTA
I have read in the past people suggesting putting shares we hold at a higher price with "good till cancel order"(way above the current price) just to stop shorting by these big guys using our own shares to short against us. I always wonder if that is a good way to go!! Reason of my concern is that if our order size and/or sale price (being way out of proportion) is visible to these big guys, that can hurt even more. First: They can always naked short the shares thereby still doing the damage that we wanted to prevent and Second: They will have a pretty good idea of how big the positions are in a particular stock that are under water. The way they can probably do that is by summing all the shares (if they have visibility to that) that are on the sell side and way out of proportion. I always wonder if the people who are suggesting that are manipulators or symphethizers....:)) Do you or anyone else for that matter know for sure the degree of visibility our sell orders have to others in the brokerage firm we trade wiht our people outside?? Your guess is as good as mine so your comments will be helpful if you are sure either way!!
Thanks!!
Good thoughts!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, lets see how the trend goes from here...Good luck!!
That is exactly why I think this agreement is a good news for the company. Pricing at 93% is not too bad in terms of share price impact but gives them a lot of financial coverage for their business to continue and grow. Private Equity firms don't invest if they think company has a weak business model so this PE firm committing $10m is nothing but a good endorsment to the strength in their idea (I think you already eluded to it in one of your prior posts). Plus, obviously when they buy at a certain price, they will like to make as much profits as possible thus my thought that most likely it will not be a dead stock or one that just goes lateral......thoughts???
Good point. Obviously if they are selling stocks at 93% of the lowest bid than it is dilution but i think you will agree on two things: One, obtaining financing for a good reason i.e business expansion, restructuring, marketing, R&D etc is good and second the pricing needs to be attractive for any financier. In this case, it is lower than the lowest bid but still I would have been a lot more upset if it was handed out at .001 or .002 which is a lot lower than the lowest so far...:) Lets hope and pray it works out for everyone!!
Thanks!
I think its a great news guys that just came out just an hour or so back. We know they have a good business model that has a market. One of the challenges that SSOL was facing was the financing piece which I think is resolved to a great extent, if not totally, with this deifinitive agreement!! $10 million is a lot of money, enough for a 3 yr period at least!! Obviously they need to fulfill few requirements which based on their history should be accomplished in time.
Reading the terms of this agreement I feel liquidity in this stock will increase so I expect the volume to go up in coming days. Reason I say that is because there is a clause that says, amount that SSOL can request can't be more than 200% of the ADV in past 10 days or $500,000 at any one point in time. So it is in company's interest to keep the stock interesting for investors and keep volume high, so they can request as much as they possibly can. Price at which, it will be awarded is 93% of the lowest in following 5 days. At today's lowest, it means close to $141M shares to request half a million. Not saying the volume will go as high, my point is it will be unlikely in my mind for this to dry down, which is good!!
The other clause regarding how the awarded stocks will be priced I feel is more interesting. I think it will cause the stock to up as that is in the PE firm's interest. The pricing is based on 93% of the lowest closing bid in the 5 days following the advance request. The interesting part though is that 75% of the average bid over the preceeding 10 day's is the "floor" so they can't sell any stock if it falls below that "floor". So if I am calculating it right, in ideal situation, the PE firm would like the price to be low for at least 15 days (with 10th day being the Draw down request day) and 5 days following to buy at the cheapest price possible. After this, they would want it to spike as high as possible so they can make as much profit as possible...:)
In conclusion, I won't be surprised if the first draw down request was made on the same day as BOD approved i.e. Dec 31st. and we are in that 5 day pricing period, which explains why price is as low as it is. I expect the stock to start moving up next week - lets see if my analysis/prediction is right!!!!
Anyone please pitch in and share your thoughts over my thoughts or your thoughts/analysis on what you feel might be going on!!
I don't post to often but just felt like in this case...:)
Thanks for reading and for any input!!
You math is not right, because you are looking at projected REVENUE number in 2011 and not the Profit numbers. In order to calculate correct price per share, you will need to use profit numbers along with a reasonable industry multiple...........Thanks!
