Thanks for sharing that correspondence with us B4atf! There is another bit of info needed. Since you have established contact with Mr. Keene would you please ask him the rate of production for his new super concentrator unit. (You'll recall the photo of Doug & the dredge operator in front of one & a pile of concentrate.) I left a message on John's answering machine that SGCP consider purchasing a Keene super concentrator unit for each operational dredge to help increase production.
Second candle body forming at the top of yesterdays wick. Let's hope for a nice long body. If that happens again tomorrow the candlestick chartists should notice. GLTA!
I called IR yesterday. I was told the co is not filing for BK. IR in fact sounded upbeat about future prospects. She was fully aware of the burn rate and cash on hand. She was also hopeful of future sales.Sales to Brazil might not pan out like the sales to India didn't. At least they are still pitching the product.
IMHO the odds are 50:50. I've got what I can stand to lose here. Onka-Sure seems to have some potential. Here in the US for colon CA, Canada colon & lung CA, elsewhere up to another 14 CAs. It's non-invasive & reasonably priced. If we get some more articles in the professional journals there will be more eyeballs on RXPC. I like the fact they are protecting their IP as evidenced by today's PR. Perhaps a pharma heavy hitter will buy them out for that IP. Who knows? Madames and monsieurs place your bets. I've bet on RXPC and am up 10% already. GLTA.
We will do well by doing good. Business ethics count for something! Doug has been building relationships with the Paramount Chiefs/landowners for years. Because of that level of trust John told me that some of those chiefs sent the Chinese, who they didn't know, packing when they wanted concessions in their areas. They know Doug will treat them fairly and help take care of their people who work for Sierra Gold Corporation. He has the track record to prove he will.
I believe in psychic ability. When will your prediction happen?
No, I have patient capital in a get rich slow investment here. I was fully aware the conditions on the ground in SL SGCP has to deal with in. Part of that was to gain the trust & confidence of the Paramount Chiefs by feeding their people who work for us as part of their compensation. Doug is putting into practice something he mastered in his military career. If you take care of your people they will take care of the mission. Our mission is to dredge for gold & diamonds, produce foodstuffs for local markets and perhaps someday sell carbon credits. Gold production is up from last year as is agricultural production. Kiri trees are growing. Progress, albeit modest, is being made. I'm in here for the long haul. I understand if your timetable to make a large profit is more compressed than mine. I am long & strong on SGCP!
CC I believe it's Keene's new super concentrator. Go to the Keene Engineering web site and watch the you tube videos of it in action. They state " It reduces your black sand concentrates quickly & efficiently while retaining even fine gold". It can process a 5 gallon pail of concentrate an hour. You'll see in the video that the unit is powered by a 12 volt battery. Purchasing a unit for every dredge would be a wise move IMHO.
How are you sure Doug is back in Canada? It is only then that he can regularly receive & send e-mails. John told me that when Doug is in SL he has to set up a phone call schedule. Until those scheduled times Doug is in a comms out situation in the field.
This is due to the communications infrastructure of SL being spotty. Good in the capital but poor in much of the countryside.
In the meantime John is available to answer your honest questions.
I have always found him to be a straight shooter. Consider calling him.
Slow but steady (albeit modest) progress is the hallmark of SGCP. We have made the transition from hand tools to mechanization. Tons of material being processed has increased geometrically. However, gold being where you find it has been the problem this season. Our sites this season failed to meet expectations. We are now in a better area. There is no telling what the stockpiled concentrate may yield until it also is processed. I can wait. I have patient capital invested here. I understand if others have a shorter time frame. Sell & invest elsewhere. I'll buy some of your shares on the cheap! Still long & strong on SGCP.
I believe he may be thinking of the new model of Keene concentrator. After considerable R&D the company has come out with a small, portable unit that "Reduces your black sand concentrates quickly & efficiently while retaining even fine gold" There is a link to a YouTube video to see the unit in operation at the company site. I agree, several of these units might be just what we need to process our black sand stockpile.
Cork, I feel the same way. However, when I see my investment in SGCP has fallen below my averaged down pps of .0014 I do not despair. That is because I have never lost sight of the fact we are sitting on a gold mine! Also, it is one of the very few pink sheet listed producing gold mines. Oh and I forgot to mention that valuable byproduct to our dredging ops, diamonds. Like you I'm in this for the long haul and believe in time this will prove to be a prudent investment with a handsome profit. Long & Strong on SGCP!
That's true as is the fact those intense rains started late giving us an extended mining season.
A couple months ago when I asked John if 1 to 2 cents pps was in the ballpark this mining season he said "That estimate is a reasonable one." Three cents might be a bit of a stretch IMHO but I sincerely hope I'm wrong & you're right!
Here's my answer......the forthcoming report should send pps higher. Why? An extended production season & a higher POG.
I agree with you gemstone. However, I believe it was a wise move on John's part to delay releasing any PR until final closure on the debt ceiling issue happens. Before then many investors are waiting on the sidelines. Until then our PR would have been lost in the larger news cycle IMHO.
IMHO it's a matter of trust & connecting the dots. I bought into this company because of the caliber of the management, incremental but steady progress and the great potential profit.
My confidence was further boosted by my conversations with John.
To contribute to this forum I have posted details of those conversations. We all know the weather has been in our favor with the delay of the rainy season & that we have an experienced swift water operator on site. Also, Doug's return home was delayed. Connect the dots! What I see is Doug taking full advantage of a window of opportunity that opened up for us to maximize production. He's been hard at work, making things happen for the company in the field. John has been doing the same stateside. Gold has broken through the $1,600 mark. I believe management has been prudent to wait until events in DC unfold. Gold may go even higher because of them. Then SGCP can sell into that spike. Good timing IMHO. All I have to do is sit back & wait a little while longer (Aug 2). I have patient capital invested here. I can wait until then or even longer if the 30 day extension is passed. I understand if you have a shorter time-frame as a trader. Things in DC are coming to a head. Time is on our side. Long & Strong SGCP!
My notes have an encouraging quote from John. "I would love to shove good production numbers right in front of the bashers noses." I believe he's getting ready to do just that! The delay in the rainy season allowed us to continue dredging. Every day on the river added to our bottom line. Those numbers will be worth waiting for IMHO. Long & Stronger (now over 1.25 million shares) on SGCP!
Please read UK-sausage's reply & the entire thread to get a more balanced assessment. The last time I spoke to John he said my estimate of one to two cents pps this year was "reasonable" A dollar a share is too optimistic IMHO.
It may have been a high net worth individual who has come to the conclusion that anything but physical PM or gold producing companies are not worth investing in right now. I honestly don't think any insider trading is going on. Doug & John are men of integrity IMHO.
I'm finally in the millionaire's club! I slapped the ask at .0014 and arrived this morning. I know that is chump change to some of you here. What can I say, I'm a small time investor long & string on SGCP! GLTA.
That's very good news because people can no longer deny that SGCP is a "gold producing jr." Long & Strong SGCP!
Thanks koi! I hope you had a pleasant Canada Day on the first.
Nothing to be said banjo. Except have a safe & happy Independence Day! IMHO the board is quiet in anticipation of news & production numbers which I believe will be good. Then we'll have lots to discuss.
Happy Canada Day to our Canadian members!
I agree phreshmeat. If that takes place, which we both believe it will, a lot of people who bailed will regret their decision. They will wind up chasing a rising pps IMHO.
Regarding EB-5 please refer to the May 5 company post. "The company believes that funding for the project is virtually certain once USCIS gives the green light to allow the project to be qualified for EB-5 investment purposes. Given the relatively long time-lines of the USCIS review process that has resulted in a shortage of qualified EB-5 projects and the number of EB-5 visa applicants waiting for qualified USCIS approved projects to invest in there is presently an extreme supply/demand imbalance that the Ruby Gold project should help alleviate."
Madames and monsouirs place your bets. I'm betting on NBRI! Welcome to the world's largest casino, the stock market.
It is possible, but not probable, that the Ruby mine is played out. Much depends on the assay reports. Once we get good lab reports your level of confidence will increase IMHO.
Our CEO has a lot of skin in the game! According to the latest SEC Form 4 I could find, (dated 04/28/11) he now owns over 15 million shares. His latest block was 2 million shares at a pps of .09 This may be old news however, I thought it was worth re-posting. IMHO whenever a CEO has anything near that extent it increases my level of confidence as a small stockholder. It is obvious to me the man has a lot of his future net worth tied up in how well the company does. This motivates him to work hard to make it a successful venture. His rising tide will lift all our boats IMHO. GLTA.
Don't forget Doug is still there for another couple of weeks overseeing field operations. Mid to late July I expect another FR with the most recent production figures. According to the last FR AU production has modestly increased from the previous FR. Not as much as people hoped but incremental progress is being made! I'm content with that. I believe I will be happy with the figures Doug will bring home with him. In the meantime it is prime dredging season in SL! Some people thought I was being too conservative in my estimate of one to two cents a share. I still believe we still have a reasonable chance of getting to Penny-Land this year. Time will tell. I have patient capital invested here and am holding strong. GLTA Longs!
On 28 May our CEO posted "Over the next six months, our highest priority is getting Ruby mine into operation and successfully completing the transition from being an exploration company to becoming a gold producer" I'm taking Perry Leopold at his word until proved otherwise. From the DD I've done I concluded he is a straight shooter with us shareholders. We are fortunate to have a man of his caliber and experience at the helm IMHO!
Thanks DDhawk. Looking at the three month chart I believe we're all going to make a ton of $$$. I'm glad I found NBRI while it is still somewhat under the radar. The chance to get in early on what could turn out to be the chance of a lifetime seldom presents itself! GLTA.
Thanks phrantic, it's good to be here! Something that helped me pull the trigger was your post #15688 regarding support & resistance levels. Your knowledge of TA is obvious. I appreciate your posting of the chart analysis as I'm sure others do. At this point I believe NBRI is a news driven stock. Once we close escrow by 1 July & the word gets out about that I can see it breaking through the .173 resistance level you pointed out easily. The next pps mover could be the approval of the Ruby Gold project as a qualified EB-5 enterprise as mentioned in the 5 May PR. Do you have any handle on the time-frame for that?
I've done my DD on the company and exchanged e-mails with Mr. Leopold this AM. He wrote we are on track with Ruby. He attempted to return my phone call twice yesterday. That impressed me! This gave me the comfort level to make my first modest investment in NBRI (8,710 shares bought around 3 PM EST today 06/16/11 for .157). I know that is chump change to many of you but it was every cent I had to invest. I hope to add to this position over time until the pps heads North. I believe I got in at a good time with the recent 25% drop in my favor and will aim to average down if an opportunity presents itself & I have funds available. IMHO my window of opportunity to do so will be a narrow one. Once NBRI closes on Ruby I expect it will then appear on many other investors radar screens. I believe I will have a very happy 4th of July holiday and wish you the same. Please count me proudly long & strong on NBRI! GLTA.
Since this other company will have concentrating equipment on site in SL soon does a JV with them make sense? They could process our black sands for a percentage of the gold and/or REEs rather than SGCP paying to ship the black sands to a refiner. What do you think?
This jives exactly with what John told me in our last conversation. IMHO we will be pleasantly surprised by those production numbers. I just hope I can get some of these cheapies before that news is released.
Although diamonds are not our focus they are recovered along with the gold. It's just the nature of the deposits we are dredging.
If you're looking for this stock to provide enough profit for airfare to Bora Bora very soon you will be disappointed IMHO. Incremental progress is being made but things take longer when run on Africa time. If you hope to make a quick pound go elsewhere. This is a get rich slow stock, a long-term investment.
The country of SL has had two peaceful transitions of governmental power following free, fair & open elections. I suggest you watch the video "It's Time To Invest In Sierra Leon".
I just got off the phone with John. Doug is in the air flying coach, Not business class, NOT first class back to SL as I write.
He will be in-country for 5 weeks. After his return production numbers will be released. (You'll recall the Jan. & July dates)
He will have two dredges operating in the Yele concession. "They will be dredging for gold, not stockpiling material because of the rains". This may mean increased daily production IMHO. I verified that the current daily production figure is one to two ounces AU a day. That's the grand total.
"The Chinese are now everywhere buying assets. the available farmland will be all gone in two years." I'm glad we expanded our agricultural operation when we did!
"We are still awaiting a lab assay report". "Much of the gold in the stockpiled concentrate is microscopic to flour size."
"Baja fuel filters will be on site"(to prevent the fuel contamination problems we've had)"During the fuel shortage we had to drive many miles to find diesel" "We discovered one vendor cheated us when we found ping pong balls in the fuel container".
"The potential of raising our own oil crop such as jatropha is being researched". This will ensure a reliable and high quality supply IMHO. "We would only make $4 a lb. on titanium" Forget REEs guys the economics are not in our favor. "With the price of gold forecast to rise that is what we're concentrating on". "Diamonds found are a mix of mostly small industrial grade. The nicer or colored gem quality ones get us $200 a carat" Question-What about spending $30K for an exporters license. Answer-"Not worth it." I hope this helps answer some questions. It did for me. John concluded the conversation that he is working the issues, & that he and Doug are doing their utmost to make a success all of the company operations. I sincerely believe, in time, they will. Long & Strong SGCP!
