if it was positive, we would have heard something by now. I did hear something, it's the fat lady singing. it's over

Just when things look bleak, we get this... Good job, now get more

This does sound great, but I won't get excited till I see the orders
"Our decision to relocate to a larger facility is based on our anticipated need for additional space as a result of the increased visibility of upcoming orders for our proprietary peak shaving and energy storage management system, Power on Demand, as well as the continued support of the U.S. Army contracts that we have recently been awarded and the rapid growth of our solar sales," said Bill Schmitz
Good news...but would love to know the details, like price and which government agency
These projects are nice, but what the company really needs is sales of Power on Demand systems.
Maybe someone knows something. Hopefully they impressed at the RetailGreen conference
More news!!

"We are honored to be invited to the ICSC RetailGreen Conference. This conference will be a great forum for Arista Power to share the benefits our customers are experiencing with the Power on Demand system with major retail center and commercial customers such as Nike, Wal-Mart, and Safeway," said Mr. Matthews."
By the sounds of this, this invite gives Arista Power the ability to showcase their products to the largest retailers and mall owners around the world! This could be huge!
There it is kids, phase 2!

Where is anyone getting this information. Nothing has changed. You do not need the .ob except for that one website. Go ahead and check around.
As far as another reverse split...that just sounds silly.
Nothing has changed on ihub or yahoo...
I hope you're right!
This is great news, but the price won't move till the company turns profitable. Just my opinion.
HAHA...don't worry wakl, its going to take alot to get me excited about this thing!
They also just received a $500,000 line of credit.

Did I miss some news?
I can guess what it means...no word from the company on any of "their products", no second phase, nothing. Hell, there is barely even any volume, some days no volume. But i guess that is a positive, no one is selling!
That would be nice...I'm just hoping to hear about phase 2 soon.
This silence is killing!
Another nice write-up from forbes...

Arista Power Exceeds Solar Sales Goal and Announces New Solar Leasing Program
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=53773439
well, we had good news yesterday. Arista estimates 1.5 Mill in just solar. Hopefully power on demand surpasses the solar!
Walk, I respect you but I have to do it..
1. US Army was "supposedly" very impressed with the unit (said at the shareholder meeting), and I don't think any definite time was given for phase 2.
2. FBI was working with Arista for additional locations (said at the shareholder meeting), things were being built to specs.
3. GE -- once the batteries were finalize and produce, GE was going to install and make a commercial showing both ground breaking products.
4. The glass is either half empty or half full...in your case half empy! I still believe it 1/2 full. The company has some great products, I feel they finally have their ducks in a row, and I believe the enthusiasm they had at the shareholder meeting is because they have things lined up for the future!
Lets see where this adds up to next July. Rome wasn't built overnight!
Sounds to me like someone is going to be paid $250K to promote the stock. I wouldn't think we owe any employee that kind of money.
What would descibe a promoter?
I wish...just waiting. I've held on this long trusting the company brass, why change now.
After the shareholders meeting I felt really good about the direction the company was going, now I'll give it 6 months and see if I'm right.
I thought comparisons were allowed.

the story of my life....
I understand you are waiting for something solid, and i don't disagree. But I think you misunderstood the "future plans" thing. They wanted everyone to know where the company stands today, who the company is working with, and what they are doing. I did not get the impression they were hiding from the future, I got the impression they were very proud of where they are today.
Concerning future statements, they did state that the hoped to be trading on a different exchange within 6 months or a year (I can't remember which).
As far as the FBI, they said each site has its own design so I imagine once they get the design to the FBI's liking we will see a press release.
Looks like the directors were busy buying their options yesterday. 6 different form 4's were posted.
Do they now have to hold them shares for a certain amount of time?
Only about 50 people attened...the question was asked on how many shareholders were on record, about 2700.
The meeting was very positive and upbeat. Management this year decided to talk about the present direction of the company rather than predicting the future.
They are working with a company that owns 60 malls (can't remember their name) and they like the direction that is going and are very hopeful about a future contract.
GE will be (it's all done but signing the papers) installing the Power on Demand system at the new factory that produces the batteries. They hope to have it installed before GE films a commercial at the plant.
The FBI has nothing but praise for the system they are currently using and Arista is working with them to develop systems for other locations.
The Army is very impressed with phase 1, and they anticipate signing phase 2 soon. There will be many phases with this contract.
They mentioned they are working with ABB, a company with over $30 Billion in sales.
They could not mention GE enough, must have said their name 50 times. Said this contract with GE is getting Arista Power great exposure, both with new agencies and with potential customers.
Overall I felt is was a very good meeting. They didn't try to wow us with numbers this time, they were more showing the direction the company was going, and you could tell they were very excited about the future.
I plan on it when I get home.
I received mine also wakl, here it is:

I like the direction these guys are taking Arista Power!
Forbes has a nice article about the Arista & GE partnership.

Gene Marcial, the author of this article wrote about Arista last May. He hit the nail on the head with that article.

Nice to see Arista jumping in bed with the big boys!
Wasn't there something written about Arista and GE last year? Now I'll have to do some research.
Hopefully that question gets asked at the shareholders meeting.

Arista Power, Inc.
The Obama administration set a goal on Wednesday of building three gigawatts of solar, wind, and geothermal power capacity on U.S. military installations by 2025 that could require about $20 billion in private financing.
In addition, the Energy Department launched a $30 million research competition for improved batteries and other ways to store energy at military operations and on combat vehicles.
