Hi Tom -
People are still here? Amazing.
FWIW, I divested my CYPW stock a while ago. I won a few million shares in a lawsuit many years ago, back when it was around $0.40/share. So, I picked up a few bucks.
The guys who owned the shell (Jim DiPrima, Robin Moody, et al) screwed some shareholders and I was one of them. I was able to get the IRS on them as well - that was indeed fun.
Harry was and remains a dupe on the biz side. He was never "in on the scam" but merely provided a corporate facade for the pump -and-dump scam to be played out. Quite a few dollars were made on this in the early days (July 2007-2009).
Clearly, Harry remains blind to engineering as well. When I spoke with him (one time, during the settlement phase) his comportment was that of a typical "basement bomber": uneducated, arrogant, very brusque, thought he was really smart at this stuff, never got the credit he deserved, etc. I recognized the "somatype" quickly and simply dealt with him succinctly and as briefly as possible to settle the issue.
Sad.
Nice summation, Tom. Thanks. I have learned much of their history on the "biz side" of the equation. It's all really ugly.
I sold all my remaining CYPW stock this past year. I was awarded it all in a lawsuit around 2007-2009, so I ended up in the plus column. The original "perps" - Robin D. Moody (Dublin, OH), James C. DiPrima (Omaha, NE), etc. are scam artists, so we all discovered. Poor Harry was yet another dupe.
A nice perspective. I hate to see dreams die, but when I spoke with Harry years ago, it was very clear in less than a minute what his problems were. Sad.
Looks like Q2Power (Lancaster, Ohio) will be calling the shots (Chris Nelson, CEO) after the merger with APGR.
Nelson is a former Florida securities lawyer with ties to Cyclone Power (OTC Pink: CYPW) and others before that. Apparently, he is now lobbying the State of Ohio for tax breaks and other consideration for his version of CYPW's WHE which he apparently acquired from CYPW CEO Harry Schoell some time ago.
Here's Q2Power (Nelson's new public company): http://q2power.com/about-2/
Here's a street view (it's the building in the back):

It's probably yet another PS "pump and dump" play. For laughs, please read the "Merger Agreement" with Anpath Group, Inc. (OTC Pink:AGPRD). It's available on iHub Website :o)
The game never ends.
Nelson is lobbying for Ohio state tax dollars. Recall that he was a Florida Securities lawyer before he went over to the dark side of Pink Sheet pumping. He has an interesting history with Cyclone and others before July 2007. He is not a tech guy and his sales skills are unknown.
Please note: "(Aug 27, 2015) – Anpath Group Inc. (OTC PINK: APGRD) announced today that it has executed a Merger Agreement with Q2Power Corp. (“Q2Power”), a renewable power company based in Lancaster, Ohio."
So, Nelson found a new public PS shell to play with. Now he can monetize "emotion about the WHE concept" without the burden of Harry and Frankie's lunacy. Clever. He clearly had this planned for quite some time before he negotiated extracting the WHE from Schoell's collection of interesting (but mostly useless) stuff.
Maybe we should also follow APGRD :o)
Chris Nelson is now in Ohio: http://www.cleveland.com/opinion/index.ssf/2015/10/industrial_energy_efficiency_p.html#incart_river_home
{chuckle}
Hah! That's an extreme level of paranoia. Has CYPW management said that or posted that somewhere? Please share the link because I could use the laugh ;o)
Agreed. I spoke with Harry many years ago. It was very clear that he felt unjustifiably persecuted. He was very closed-minded and had a bad case of tunnel vision. That told me everything that I needed to know about where CYPW was headed.
Yeesh - this thing is still breathing? Incredible.
Apparently. Anyone know whatever happened to the original "perps" who sold this shell in 2007? Robin D Moody (Zuthan), Columbus/Dayton OH, Jim C. DiPrima (Omaha, NE), Mark Renfro (FL)?
How long can this nonsense continue? I'm continuing to follow out of morbid curiosity.
The "fizz" in this can of "pop" is long gone :o(
Wow! Thanks for the summary, Buddy. Scary stuff.
{chuckle} Thanks for the humor!
An effective summary. Thanks for the 1990s-era story. Quite revealing. Quite sad as well. When I first spoke with Harry around 2008 or so, it was quite clear after about 5 minutes that his ego far outstripped his engineering expertise and ability.
Desperation is really powering Cyclone at this point.
Schoell's efforts are in vain. His design is fundamentally flawed on so many levels. Just goes to show you how low the bar is for media attention: Popular Science, trade mag articles, investment "money shows", etc. All the "PR" that CYPW has garnered or issued over the years is pure crud. Nothing is ever verified and thus cannot be trusted.
Hi Buddy - Thanks for those reminders. Harry came off as an egomaniac the first time I spoke with him, back in 2009 or thereabouts. His lack of formal training in engineering has been exposed and has caused financial harm to many. As he ages, he is not getting any better.
What a tragic tale.
CYPW is officially comatose.
Hi Tom - cannot believe the amount of life support that has gone on here. My guess is that they are trying o position the shell has having value in addition to what a shell is worth. Given all the encumbrances, however, that's a tough sell.
I heard of the main "perps" - Robin D. Moody (formerly Zuthan) and James C. DiPrima - many years ago. A fella by the name of Mark Renfro may have been involved as well in setting up Harry Schoell for a quick flip.
That one worked back in July 2007 and they have long since moved on. They are older now. DiPrima (S. E90th Street, Omaha NE), is at least 69 years old and Robin Moody (SouthEast Ohio, possibly near Dayton, formerly from Dublin, OH) has to be at least 73. They can't keep runnin' forever. Father time will see to that!
I keep checking back here partly for your sense of humor - and that of Tom Swift as well. Anyone called them lately or been to their facility?
Hi Tom. This is by far the longest death watch I have ever witnessed. I'm sticking around only in morbid curiosity to see just how long this can be stretched out. I am very sure that they are looking for someone to absorb this "stinky pinky". Clean shells fetch $500k - $1M so they won't get much for this one.
Will there be a formal funeral service? Or will a re-purposed shell simply appear? Also where is Chris Nelson? Anyone hear about what he is up to?
Thanks, Buddy. You summed it up nicely.
Hi LORTAP. You still checking in on this? I'm occasionally observing in morbid fascination. Curious as to just how long the "business nothingness" can continue. Amazing, really.
My guess is that Harry & Frankie are looking for a buyer of the shell as a way to exit. This shell has been passed around more than a bottle of cheap whiskey at a frat party.
DiPrima has long moved on to other scams (see ticker:rsii). Robin Moody has dipped below the radar - probably has done another legal name change (original last name of Zuthan, btw).
MMs and sellers are pumping this. CYPW has been dead for a couple of years.
That's a very polite way to put it ;o)
CYPW has a problem with basic physics and engineering. The "biz side" cant operate well on just hot air for too long (although CYPW appears to be breaking records in that area...)
The entire company is worth less than $200,000 at this price. Might be a cheap way to acquire a shell, depending upon existing liabilities
The entire IMF has been retasked for this effort :o)
Amazing! Now watch this stock jump {snicker}
Well, 6s are a sure thing then {/humor}
Hi Tom - since when did you become an optimist? :o)
Nah. I merely became aware of iHub back then. I knew the aforementioned folks LONG before that. I was aware of the maneuverings long before Schoell met up with Renfro, Moody & DiPrima and took possession of the shell back in July 2007. You may wish to review Netcoast Communications (NCST), SmartData, The Hamlet Group, Coastal Technologies (CTTJ), Rising India Inc (RSII), etc.
It's the same sad story of dirty shell passed around more than a bottle of cheap whiskey at a frat party. Lots of litigation behind it too, of which Schoell inherited some of the results.
I don't trade in CYPW - save that for the dummies. However, I do know DiPrima, Moody, Nelson, Schoell, Renfro, et al so I like to see what nefarious things they are up to from time-to-time. It's merely occasional amusement...
Sorry, pal, but Tom Swift is a lot more informative. Good luck with your "trading style" on this one...
They are keeping the game alive as long as possible. I'd say that they are at least 3 years past the point where I thought that they would totally disappear. Gotta hand it to 'em for hanging on so long via life support.
DiPrima is getting older - he's about 68 or so. Robin D. Moody (formerly Zuthan) is about 71 or so. Neither are likely in the best of health so they can't keep doing this game much longer.
