Can you tell me the rubric that will be applied to judge whether a post is based on education or experience, you can't make this stuff up
Jimlur with all due respect wouldn't that manager want to see a proper representation of the people that own this stock or who are potential investors, why limit and censor posts based on subjective judgement, yes the bricks post by my3sons is stupid, but who cares, nobody has to read it
I think a lot of people here take themselves too seriously
Well you don't run this board, go start up your own board, what you forget is that Matt doesn't like even board moderators to delete posts for non TOS violations, he doesn't permit these moderators to just delete posts because you feel they are not worthy
why not just delete all posts not related to idcc cheerleading, give me a break, now you want to judge whether one's opinion is educated or not, the hubris never ceases to amaze me
People whining about insider sales, some things never change, it does not matter, focus on the company and what they are about, bunch of wimps
The daytrader strikes again, GeJim must have sold yesterday, either that or gone short on some shares, now his new mission is to drive down the stock, he will use his fake charts to try and influence some suckers
We have never seen GeJim give you a stock winner before it happened, I wonder why
I meant the ones who have recently gone negative either to short the stock or hope it goes lower to pick up cheaper shares, I don't think gejim got in on this one
hookrider you are right, the daytraders on this board were upset today, too bad, hahahahah
OT All I know is Bulldozer is a stand up guy, you know where he stands on the issues, he is not a snake like some on the board, he is not a day trader using the board to influence his profits like some on the board
Who is deleting some of my posts, on what basis are you deleting them, do you apply that same rubric when consideration of other posts to be deleted by other members
Do you delete JimCharts personal attacks on other members, do you delete his accusations of multiple aliases
Whoever is arbitrarily deleting my posts should answer on what basis, just because you are the board owner, it doesn't give you a right to apply different standards to different members, that is part of the rules of this website
dmiller of course I have been negative at times on the stock, even when I owned shares, by the way I have plenty of straight shares so my options plays don't dictate my posts
the point is SS's idiotic post claimed that after IDCC rose in price I would be crying, if I own straight and options, why would a high IDCC price effect me negatively
the reason why you know I post without an agenda is because I have been both negative and positive, and we all know that my posts are not going to effect share price, yet I believe it is possible that GeJim and other bashers still think they have an influence, and since those guys are admitted day traders even a swing of about 25 cents can make them money
can message board posts influence a stock like IDCC by 25 to 50 cents, maybe, since I don't trade that way I have no ability to profit on that, but GeJim sure can, and my bet is that is exactly his strategy
SSalner you obviously don't read my posts because I've been nothing but positive on IDCC and the stock price, perhaps the minister of propaganda should be your new name
Ed yes those were stupid proclamations back in the day made by me, but I hold more January 2007 options than the 2006 ones so I'm in no rush, might even pick up some 2008's if they are available, I believe they have them now
Art don't listen to the con artists, IDCC is going to be big, 2006 will be known as the year of IDCC and Howard Stern
IDCC will be the big winner the next six months, I was thinking that while listening to Sirius satellite radio
GeJim you don't want to go into the credibility game, you will lose bigtime, we can go back in time to some of your posts that reveal your lies, I especially like the charge of multiple aliases leveled at Art
We can easily type you as having multiple personalities, say one thing on ihub and then trash IDCC on Raging bull, remember those days, remember lying about it
Here's some advice, don't go to anymore Vikings games, they stink, they never should have traded Randy Moss
Ams you are a funny person, stock is only going to climb for the rest of the year, regardless of your propaganda, you remind me of the presidential spokesman, always full of sh..
dmiller, just a little humour, no hard feelings, good luck
Haha, yeah I know, you don't need a filter for my posts, because I speak the truth, or at least I am willing to be both positive and negative, I speak my mind, I am a maverick, very few like me, I don't just tow the party line like some here
Consider yourself lucky for having me post my treasured information on this board
Yeah I agree, Dmiller's posts need to be read with a filter eom
I have some but more in January 2007, but I think my record shows that I have frequently been right about upcoming news, just get ready to thank me come December
Big things will be happening with IDCC, remember December we will take off
Yes I agree, and a run like 99 could be happening this December, I am very confident of very positive news being released this December
OT Nieves why are you not chastising the many off topic posts, funny thing is they are not even stock related, at least mine were, I guess your job of board cop is only when I post off topic
Well I disagree with you, I think it was about idiot pentagon lawyers and bureaucrats who like most government people are worried about CYA and not about getting things done, somehow I think if the FBI wanted to sell drugs and money launder they wouldn't choose to use terrorists, just too much of a risk of it getting out to the public, plenty of low level scum in this country that would gladly do that
Ellis what is your take on things eom
Thanks Easy, hope things are well with you, although on Fox news website they have a story, but I have not seen it reported on the channel
I just hope Arlin Specter and Joe Biden have the courage to follow this all the way to a satisfactory conclusion
Jim and all, why the jump in price then a pullback on great news, what is your overall take on this situation, sorry if I missed a post, just hard to wade through 300 posts and also I don't think it hurts for a few of the board veterans to give an updated take on today's news for any potential investors out there, you could even put in the subject line, To All Potential Investors of IDCC
Easy, this Able Danger hearing should be front page news on all of the newspapers, Brian Williams on NBC did not even mention it, at least PBS Newshour with Jim Lehrer did a 10 minute story at the end of the show
If it was not for Michael Savage on the radio I would not even know about it, this is crazy, if the Pentagon had let the Able Danger group pass the information on to the FBI, 9/11 could have been prevented, now Rumsfeld only wants a closed hearing, he works for the American people, we must hear all of the facts
Are any other news organizations covering this?

September 15, 2005 -- Traders in Nasdaq stocks are racing to beat a rumored regulatory deadline to close out their positions — or take huge losses as clearing firms do it for them.
Stock traders told The Post that Nasdaq stocks including Baidu.com, the Chinese Internet portal, and Foxhollow Technology Corp. experienced sharp spikes in stock price and volume recently as short-sellers scrambled to cover their positions.
On Sept. 6, Baidu closed at $77.80; Tuesday, it closed at $113.59. On Sept. 6, Foxhollow was $43.91; on the Sept. 9, it closed at $47.96.
Naked short sales are trades executed without borrowing stock beforehand. Naked short sellers can overwhelm an orderly trading market, since unlike traditional short sellers, there is technically no limit to how much stock can be sold short illegally.
Naked shorting was always a violation of established trading practice, and in January the National Association of Securities Dealers instituted a rule — Regulation SHO — to eliminate the practice.
A day trader active in numerous Nasdaq stocks, including Baidu and Foxhollow, said a rumor of mandatory buy-ins had been circulating on Internet bulletin boards for days.
The Post reported recently that the NASD and numerous state securities regulators, led by Ralph Lambiase of Connecticut's Division of Securities and Business Investments, have vowed to increase scrutiny of naked short sales.
A buy-in is the worst possible development for a short-seller, since he has to accept any price given.
"Ninety-five percent of those rumors are fiction put out by people long on the stock, but price and volume action don't lie," said this trader. "Any stock for sale was gobbled up, regardless of price."
The NASD circulates a daily list of stocks — termed the Threshold List — from the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq with a certain percentage of their trading volume failing to match up.
Tom Ronk, the chief executive of Buyins.net, which offers software to take advantage of so-called short squeezes, said stocks with large naked short positions for two weeks often start to increase in price.
He said after 15 days on the Regulation SHO list, firms must buy in their clients or face fines or the suspension of their licenses.
As an example, Ronk pointed to Catuity Inc., which had been added to the NASD's Naked Short List on May 2 at $4.53 and jumped to $22.58 by May 9, closing yesterday at $15.40.
OT Dmiller and All, can you please help evaluate this particular news release
On September 9, 2005, JAG Media Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") entered into a non-binding letter of intent (the "Letter of Intent") with Cryptometrics, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Cryptometrics"), pursuant to which the Company and Cryptometrics would enter into a merger agreement under which Cryptometrics would merge with a newly created subsidiary of the Company. In consideration of the merger, the stockholders of Cryptometrics would acquire shares of common stock, par value $0.00001 per share, of the Company ("Company Common Stock"), which shares would, upon issuance, represent 88% of the outstanding Company Common Stock, in exchange for all of the issued and outstanding capital stock of Cryptometrics (the "Proposed Transaction"). The shares of Common Stock to be received by the stockholders of Cryptometrics would be registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"). The existing public shareholders of the Company will experience significant dilution from the issuance of these shares to the stockholders of Cryptometrics.
At the closing of the Proposed Transaction (the "Closing"), the Company's current directors would resign as directors of the Company and would also resign as officers and executives of the Company. The Company's board of directors would be replaced with designees of Cryptometrics, at least a majority of whom would be independent and who, in whole or in part, would also constitute the audit committee of the Company's board of directors.
IT SAYS THE Existing shareholders of JAGH will experience significatn dilution, what does this mean, for example if I own 1,000 shares of JAGH, will it turn into 250 shares, does it mean I will own less shares and if so how much less, thanks for your help
OT Dmiller, thanks for the reply, curious about something, I thought when Kmart went below a dollar, they filed for bankruptcy and then the stock gradually rose up into the 20's and above, can you explain the process, so are you saying that was new reissued kmart stock
thanks for helping
I'm interested in the nanotech stocks, do you have any others
Nicmar same problem here, I had a chance to play a lot of money on XMSR at 2 bucks a share, I played a little, but left the bulk of my money in IDCC, well I missed out on 20 x my money, same deal with GOOG at 100, missed out on 300 percent run up, I could go on and on
We have been in this company so long, it is almost like we have to wait it out now, but I am going to put some money in SIRI options instead of adding to my IDCC investment
good luck
Also I see DAL sitting there around 80 cents, something tells me Delta is not going to be going away anytime soon, might be worth a look
GEJIM aka JIMCHARTS is a LIAR, nice try Jim, of course you put me on ignore, your reputation as something less than a man is continuing, you love to lie and weasel your way out of things
Lets deal with lie number 1, I did not tell people to buy Siri at 9, I told them to buy at 2, when I posted that message it closed at 7.55, two days later it closed at 9, yes after months it slid down to 4 but is now back above 6 or close to 7 last time I checked, and it slid to 4.60 about 4 months later, not the next day as you would make it seem
Lie number 2, no only in your weasel mind can SIRI turn into XMSR, yes I recommended SIRI at 2, you didn't show my post on that date, but I also recommended XMSR at 2, obviously you have a little trouble knowing the difference between 2 companies, anyone with a subscription can do a search of my posts where I mention XMSR and you will see how you bashed the company and didn't listen to my advice
By the way even in the post you found that I made, yes you would have made money if you bought SIRI at 2, can't wait to see the price when Stern comes abroad
Gejim massive insider selling, well it was enough insider selling to immediately stop the run at 28
oh what do you know here is another prediction I made

OT Here's another free prediction if you want to triple your money at the very minimum, invest in GOOG, to me it is a no brainer, I gave you XMSR when it was at 2 and change, you would have 12x your money, well now I give you GOOG, not that you guys don't don't already know this, also my dark horse is TIVO
WELL GEJIM HASN'T GOOG ALREADY TRIPLED IN PRICE, didn't you say it was a bad investment, I could be wrong about that one, all somebody has to do is a search on your posts, just put google in,
Also you said a few posts back how if Nokia gave IDCC the trigger when IDCC was at 28, the momentum would have pushed it to 50, yet you clearly posted before that on raging bull that anyone who thinks the stock is going to 50 ever is crazy, which is it, and then obviously your statement is confirming that the Nokia decision killed the stock at 28, not some price threshold
BY THE WAY GEJIM, CAN YOU SHOW US ANY OF YOUR PICKS BEFORE THE FACT, AND HOW COME YOU CAN'T FIND A STOCK THAT 20X YOUR MONEY LIKE XMSR WOULD HAVE IF YOU HAD LISTENED TO ME
oh here is another gejim post

Snowblow5, I would try and find something better than Sirius Satellite
Well if you would have listened to GEJIM you would have lost your chance to double or triple your money, call it the GEJIMMY effect
Here is another gejim post

And spree as a final note to the year. If you notice the NAS is up roughly 50 percent year to date.Idcc is up 25 percent year to date.Something to be said for MF's for those that like to hold. In this last year IDCC was one of the stocks that held the NAS back. Oh and forget 50, if Nokia ever does come to the party Investors will be breaking their own arms hitting buttons to sell this at 35 before the the big boys run it down, 50, please ! Even the brokers and analysts at the high end don't mention anything over 35.
YET RECENTLY YOU SAID IF nokia had paid the stock would have went to 40 or 50, which proves my point that the Nokia decision to fight the trigger and insider selling is why the price went down, you are all over the map jimmy
Here is another Gejimmy post

like GE_JIM at $12 a share--you failed to look at the "XM story
What do you mean failed to look at the story, it was high risk then, dangerous level now, again you have done well with the risk, congrats, but the key isn't to do well with one, it's to do well with them all. To do that you don't take unnecessary risk.
Once again sorry, roulette wheel investing doesn't work for me.
UP nicely from that point on, must be the GEJIMMY effect
AND here is the proof GEjimmy did not buy XMSR at 2

Mack, regarding IDCC, XM, Sirius, and Lou's panels picks.
First , IDCC it is wise to study the business plan. Also the effects and the most likely scenario concerning the Nokia arb and time factors before expiration on the 2 G and likelihood of meaningful 3g licenses.
XM, and the other guy. Still don't see how they can keep it up there. You know I should tell you , there is about 40 of us at work that have formed more or less a little investing group, or more to the point here's what I got what do you got, kind of deal going. Anyway Mike B { Mike if you read this here is your 15 min} told me to invest in XM at 2. I passed for the reasons mentioned to you earlier. I decided to go with China based stocks and bio/techs. Now I've done very well with these, better than even 99 but Mike, you still there Mike will still remind me how much better I would have done with buying XM. To Mack and Mike , you win yes I would have.
To Lou's picks, if you believe me or not it doesn't matter, but I can and have done better for many years
AND OF COURSE THE GEJIMMY EFFECT MADE THE STOCK GO UP EVEN HIGHER
Charts mean nothing when news hits, charts are good during these boring days, once the check is in the bank it is a different story
I have yet to see you once predict a buy on a stock before it takes off, if you have please show us the posts
You have been successful in when to get out of idcc on a few occassions, i give you credit for that
Did your charts tell you to invest in XMSR at 2, nope, I told you to buy it, you would have 15x's your money, have you ever made 15x's your money on one stock, actually at its peak it was 20x
In fact during that run you were telling me and others that the company was a bad investment, I go with the Peter Lynch method, at 2 XMSR was a no brainer, I knew satellite radio had a place in the market
First of all you are all over the map, one minute you are posting that the money will be coming eventually and you are not worried, now you post there is little interest, you also mischaracterize the stock when it was at 28
It did not die because of some price threshold that you made up in your mind, it died because of massive insider selling and the NOK decision to fight the trigger, so let's tell it like it is
IDCC does not have to tell any stories, just have to collect the 250 million and move on
The only stories I see lately are coming from you, and you might want to file them in the fairy tale sections of the bookstore
dmiller if you ever read my posts you would know answer, i am not a fake like some people, i have been negative on the stock at times, other times positive, and all during that time i have owned and continue to own straight shares and options
To All, a 3G Deal is on the Way and soon, I love all of the negative posts I read, all of the false JAGH rumors, we are on the cusp of greatness, so we have to wait until the check is in the bank, so what, I can't wait to hear the losers talk about how they wish they had invested in IDCC after it takes off, or the people say, "How did I not know about this stock"
Remember TASR, we will soon go on a similar run, remember this post, I believe a 3g deal is coming soon, after that you will see a number of new signings
I will be laughing all the way to the bank
by the way Nokia will not appeal
loop when is the drop dead date for Nokia to decide on whether they will appeal or pay
Dozer are you saying there are no more paid bashers, certainly you are joking, check out some of the penny stock boards on raging bull, full of them, and I would think that yes probably very few here are paid bashers, but I'm sure 1 percent of the posters here are getting paid to try and influence things, that said of course the influence is minor than a penny stock, but to those guys even a change of 20 cents can be big if you have enough stock
