and February is only 28 days :D
oh man that made me laugh... that's exactly what I thought when I read everyone's concerns. I doubt he is stuffed in a barrel somewhere, he F'd up and got got canned, no pun intended
thanks everyone, I'm depending on you guys until I can get into those business classes! :)
Another newbie question.... why are audited fins so good?
don't discriminate, weirdos have money too! hahaha
I don't see why not. 7,000 views minus a very over shot estimation of 1,000 re-clicks so 6,000 individuals at the very least watching that video. What do we have now as investors? like 400 I think. yeah I would say it is some good exposure
I wish I could facebook "like" this post! lol
7,041 views on the youtube video... pretty impressive. Better believe a lot of those viewers are reading the words "merger" "partner" "conference call" today. Lots of things to get new investors brewin!
I'm still sticking to the logic I have always used when something doesn't go exactly as planned, like most things do, keep in mind. Watson has the experience himself and enough experienced people around him involved in GRDO to not be making mistakes for no reason so there's gotta be something worth the breakage of what he said was going to happen. Also, 1st quarter isn't really that far away from January so it's not Earth ending news.
im pretty sure that was a "what if" conversation... i knew people were going to think it was for real.
you're right it is amazing that GRDO is being compared to an industry leader, but it's a little unrealistic for MX to use that as a defense of "why hasn't GRDO beat them on 'this particular aspect'!?" it really all boils down to exactly what you've been saying lately, there's always a critic.
"critics serve their purpose. sometimes they serve a larger purpose, and sometimes they serve their own purpose." i think we all know which side of the comma I'm referring to here lol
also in the interest of fairness you can not keep comparing Guard Dog's website with Lifelock's website. They have had a several year head start, let's get this conversation going again in 8 years and see what the standings are then.
I didn't post the alexa rankings in a negative regard, how long has guarddogid.com even been up? you say it right in your post that lifelock has been online for 8 years so obviously it's going to be more well known and have more visitors (for now). 62% look at one page which means 38% look at more than one page, that's not too bad for a fairly new website with extremely new exposure. 6% are referred to by search engines, so 94% come from where? the "useless" Kendra Todd campaign and the people who want this stock to do well spreading the word I would say. you forgot to quote this part of the site-- "guarddogid.com is visited more frequently by users who are in the age range 25-34, have children, received some college education and browse this site from home." so this is telling me that the younger college educated generation who are generally more savvy with this type of thing and know the effects of ID theft are the ones going to the site. I don't see the point of focusing so hard to put a negative spin on everything especially when YOU are an investor.
Here is a pretty good rundown of visitors to www.guarddogid.com and some other interesting information about the average viewers, check it out
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/guarddogid.com#
exactly, i would be just as happy if the company got 10-20,000 more subscriptions from the exposure (which is what it was designed for) as I would for the PPS to go up to a penny
There's gotta be some possible way to get GRDO featured as a host company on an episode of The Apprentice, I mean Kendra has to have SOME kind of pull around there!
sad day, Major (Ret.) Dick Winters passed away.
well, that was a flop. Since they are paid programming they are not Nielson Rated
Hello,
I am an investor with Guard Dog ID and I saw the interview with Kendra Todd that aired Saturday January 8th, 2011. I was wondering if 21st Century Business or anyone else could provide myself and the other investors with the viewer ratings of that episode. There are several of us that are extremely interested in exactly how many people were exposed to Guard Dog ID through your program. Also, is there anywhere that the interview is uploaded on your website or any other website? Thank you very much!
Good morning -
Due to the fact that our programs are paid programming, they are not
Nielsen rated.
The segment will be uploaded to our website at http://www.21cbtv.com as well as our YouTube channel in the next few weeks.

cool thanks, how big is your link library exactly? lol... Another thing I was thinking about, I wonder if Century 21 or Fox Business can give us the viewer ratings of that particular episode? That would be awesome to know how many people saw it... I'm going to look around for someone to contact about it.
So how is this upgrade going to work? Will GRDO be added to a list of upgraded companies that potential investors look at regularly. I don't understand how upgrading will get more investors if they don't know about it. I'm definitely trusting everyone's word on that it will get them, I just don't understand how it works.
I'm getting in touch with a friend of mine that works at a bank, trying to see if they offer any ID theft protection to their customers, still waiting to hear from the radio guy too!
alright, I'm off to bed, hope to see a video link in the morning! and maybe even taking the #1 spot on leader board
deal. this is now a legally binding contract. don't be breaking the law.
nah, they're too busy making deals with GRDO! I'll forgive them I guess
they play sports live so it's on in the middle of the night. plus it's not in HD so who really watches? ;)
Thanks NOBO, that means a lot. I was pretty ticked at AFN for not airing it lol
I don't read the WSJ because they don't have the same glossy cover as Cosmo. If only it was pretty....lol
awesome, I would appreciate it! We're number 4 on the boards today too, can't hurt
No (which it is) it means that who cares about 16:9, your talking like GRDO is the only thing that played that wasn't in a pristine viewing quality
was it or was it not on TV? Besides, I agree with NOBO, we are going to get more views of the segment online rather than what just played. And through social media outlets it can be geared towards individuals that would be more inclined to invest in GRDO
yeah that would have been ok, but not necessary. I don't think there is anyone questioning his existence where he has to more than likely travel out of his way to smile for the cameras.
do the other CEOs have a celebrity spokesperson at their disposal? Of course they are going to use her to speak about the company. I see it as Watson can spend more time doing his job as the CEO rather than worry about being on TV, he has done his share of putting the word out personally.
yeah but the obviously know the worth of those shares if they are accepting them as payment.
what's up with all the quiteness?? we don't stay in the top 15 like that
I know we've already talked about this but for everyone else--
this is all not to mention that Shawn Andreas, Kendra Todd and the rest of the board would not associate (risk) themselves and their names that are worth quite a bit with GRDO or any company without doing their homework to the max. and really believing that the company is going in the right direction. And as Sammy has mentioned they have to get paid too! Can't be too cheap to pay a celebrity spokesperson!!
ok, here it is, got my fingers crossed! and here's the show's Facebook link for any interested

I’m involved with an identity theft prevention company called Guard Dog ID (Ticker: GRDO) that is a second year startup. Any exposure would be awesome and helpful to the community at the same time as to offer some ID theft protection (check it our for yourself too, it’s a growing problem). Now, knowing you are the voice of the tri-state area, I have to ask if you think you would be able to incorporate a bit about it anywhere in your show? I have some info handy (below) about several prominent sports figures that have fallen victim to ID theft so that it would make sense with your show’s topics. Here is the website’s link www.guarddogid.com and a link with comparisons to the other brands http://www.identitytheftlabs.com . Guard Dog ID is really turning into a leader in the industry with their unique services, which is very impressive for a two year old company. I understand if you aren’t able to, just thought I would give it a shot and again, any help would be awesome! Thanks bro!
Top 6 Athletes who have had their identities stolen
Besides celebrities, popular athletes have also succumbed to identity theft. Below are the top 6 athletes who have been victims of identity theft:
1) Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods’ identity was stolen by California resident Anthony Lemar Taylor in the late ’90s. He had managed to obtain Woods’ social security number, and went to the California Department of Motor Vehicles where he was issued an authentic license using Woods’ name. Once he had a fraudulent driver’s license, Taylor was also able to obtain credit at local Sacramento stores, and ended up with 12 lines of credit in the golfer’s name, ultimately racking up thousands of dollars worth of charges. Taylor was eventually caught and arrested.
2) Barry Bonds
Popular baseball star Barry Bonds’ identity was stolen back in 2005, when Jason Keys of Indianapolis found out his social security number and applied for a credit card. He obtained Bonds’ personal information while he was shredding personal records for a company that specialized in identity theft protection. Once Keys was found out, he was not sentenced to jail, but instead, decided to agree to the terms of a plea bargain.
3) Vontae Davis
Most recently, the Miami Dolphins player Vontae Davis experienced identity theft firsthand in June 2009. An impostor used an old license stolen from Davis months earlier as identification when he was stopped by police during a traffic stop in early June. Currently, Davis’ old license has not been recovered, and the impostor is still on the loose.
4) Danny Wuerffel
Quarterbacker Danny Wuerffel found out that he had fallen victim to identity theft when he received a phone call from a Home Depot asking if he had applied for a home-improvement loan in New Jersey. The suspect had obtained Wuerffel’s social security number, date of birth and off-season residence address, and used the information to apply for a $16,000 loan.
5) Steve Smith
Carlos Lomax, the same person who scammed actor Will Smith, also stole athlete Steve Smith’s identity. Lomax took out multiple lines of credit in the star’s name, and racked up over $80,000 worth of merchandise. Once he was caught, the suspect ended up serving two years in prison, three years’ probation and was required to pay $270,000 to the credit card companies that he frauded.
6) Ty Law
Ty Law had his identity stolen by a man named Jonathan Hoskins who obtained an Ohio driver’s license in Law’s name, and who also made $20,000 in withdrawals from his bank account. Law first discovered that his money was being stolen when he checked his bank account statements, and saw that he only had $33 in his account. Soon after, he also discovered that an unauthorized $10,000 withdrawal had been made. Hoskins was tracked down, and is now behind bars.
good idea... do you happen to know what the comparison websites were? thanks
Alright, how's this sounding to everyone before I send it?

Awesome! I don't see why he wouldn't be able to throw that in somewhere, unless there are station rules. thanks Kop
I have a friend from high school that hosts a daily sports show on the local radio station, I would estimate that there are 300,000 potential listeners in the tri-state area, anyways I’m trying to think of a way to convince him to maybe incorporate a name drop for GRDO but I’m kind of stonewalling on how he can relate it to his show and how to make it sound like a good idea in the first place, any ideas from our marketing experts?
hey NOBO can you provide that link again with the site hit comparisons? I definitely want to keep an eye on it this month
