Fidelity must be reading our posts. Many of the Fidelity customers will be giving them the ax over their ineptness with this voting.
Yes, I have PQ, KQ and WAHUQ...no commons. That's interesting about the IN notation. I hadn't noticed it.
WAMPQ = 9393IN977
WAMKQ = 9393IN985
WAHUQ = 939EXC947
I have IN for PQ & UQ, but an EXC in WAHUQ.
balu, I'm showing the same thing in my Fidelity account. I sent the ballots by UPS on Monday, Jan. 30 from the West coast; they arrived by 10 am on Jan. 31 in NY, as promised.
The shares are locked according to my Fidelity account today.
You're OK. People are walking into their broker's offices and getting print outs.
Thank you. I'm giving Fidelity the ax later.
No, it's already been established that our preferred and commons will be exchanged for commons in the new company.
Who do you think is "best"?
There were many accolades for TD Ameritrade and ETrade. Later there were retractions.
who is your broker? When you call, be sure to specify what classes you are talking about. With fidelity commons goes to one address and everything else to the NY address.
You are the claimant. Fill in your address, email, etc.
The different classes have different CUSIP numbers on the bottom.
use the correct ballot for the individual investment, WAMPQ, WAMKQ, WAHUQ, DIMEQ, WAMUQ.
The EC recommends a yes vote. Just leave the "opt-out" box blank. If you check the box, you won't get a distribution.
IMO, we are small potatoes here. I think the big players, HF, have the votes to pass the Plan.
I'm thinking there may be a buyout after the transaction is "old and cold", with no tax motive and a two year old transaction. I've attended seminars where they said two years is 2 tax years. So a Dec. 20x1 transaction is counted as one tax year (calendar year taxpayer) & the 2nd year would be Jan. 20x2. So it could be done in less than 2 years. I would be cautious about that cutting it that close. Pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered.
My bet is 2 years, more or less. I'm sure the new company isn't going to blow it by soliciting buyers right away. But if someone comes along by the end of the year................it could be wrapped up in 2013 or so.
This link discusses "old and cold" regarding a vacation home.

With this much money at stake, how about phoning, faxing, mailing to PO Box and top it with Overnight with UPS AND FexEx? Send it to every posted address. Sign each ballot with blue ink so they know it's an original. And write the brokerage's name and your account number on each page. Can't be too carful. For the truly cautious.
I did at my office at 7:30 pm Pacific Time. Of course, I wasn't here.
I got a similar phone call at 7:30 last night at my office. She was from the same company. They must be sweating something.
I'm switching to TD Ameritrade from Fidelity when the dust is well settled.
I would hate to be a shareholder who thought his investment was dead, ignored the mail and didn't give releases. Sometime later he might hear about the successor WMI that "came back" and made the shareholders very happy. It could make the news in a couple of years.
These shareholders would then converge on their brokers and make a real stink asking why they didn't get paid.
This sounds like the phone calls that are made to get people out to vote for the school levy.
If anyone is short a W-9, you can get them from the IRS site.
Here is W-9.

Just fill in your SSN. Ignore the bottom portion of the form because you have already been issued a SSN.
Great story radium. And yes, they do get paid commissions.
It really sounds like they operate like car salesmen when a customer drives up. They look at you like you're dinner.
I'm dumping Fidelity as well.
I don't have commons, but I can confirm the addresses for WAMPQ and WAMKQ per my phone call to Fidelity this am. The same address in NY is for WAHUQ.
However, the Fidelity rep didn't give me the correct info initially. She insisted that all the overnight ballots go to KY per a Fidelity directive of toay. I politely disputed that assertion and told her that PQs and KQs go to NY and I need the address for WAHUQ.
She phoned me back within minutes with an apology. She said I was correct. That WAMPQ, WAMKQ abd WAHUQ go to NY. The NY addesss is a street address and will take postal mailings as well as UPS, FedEx, etc. I sent my ballots by UPS today and they will arrive by 2 PM TOMORROW.
By the way,the address for NY happens to be the same address on the slipsheet that accompanied my ballot. Why in the H*** didn't they say so in writing?
I'll be SO GLAD when this is over and we have a prosperous new beginning with NewCo.!
I can add one more. WAHUQ goes to the NY address also. I finally got that ballot today.
I called Fidelity today. Initially I was told to send ballots to KY. I questioned that but she referred to the company-wide directive. I said that isn't correct because the preferreds go to NY.
A few minutes after I hung up, and during a rant to a family member, she called back and apoligized. WAMUQ ballots go the KY. BUT PQ, KQ and WAHUQ ballots go to the NY address below.
Mailing and Overnight Services:
National Financial Services, LLD
Voluntary Reorganization Dept.
200 Liberty Street, 5th Floor
New York, NY 10281
The reason I called is I have few shares of WAHUQ and no one mentioned an address for them. I don't have a ballot from them, but I can use the pdf ballot. I gave her the CUSIP number. She first referred to them as preferreds until I corrected her, and after more time, she said, oh yes, I see it now. They go to NY as well.
They are telling everyone to use KY until it is made really clear that it is a preferred stock or WAHUQ.
After the dust settles in about a year, I'm changing brokers. This happened during the last 2 votes as well. Three stikes and you're out Fidelity.
I'm granting releases and I want 100% of my investment in NewCo stock. I'm putting 100% in the blank to indicate I only want shares. Is that correct?
You do not mail these to your BRANCH. Phone ST for where to mail. I think it's been posted here.
Your address and email after YOUR signature.
Fidelity address for mail and overnight for WAMPQ, WAMKQ & WAHUQ
National Financial Services LLC
Voluntary Reorganization Dept.
200 Liberty Street, 5th Floor
New York, NY 10281
Ignore the UCC letter. It's for creditors not equity. Including it created unnecessary confusion.
Call your broker to find out the mailing address or maybe someone has it here.
Fill in the no. of shares. If 2 brokers, you'll need 2 ballots.
Excellent mypenneys. We all should know that there's no such thing as a dumb question. The footnote with a 1 next to it refers to Name of Holder in Item 3 above. Name of Holder would be your brokerage company. Like Fidelity, Schwab etc.
This table may not apply to you unless you have more than one account with class 19 shares (PQ or KQ).
Thanks. That's the address I used for the last 2 plan votes. This is the address on the mailing slip sheet for my ballots for this round.
I saw a ballot from Schwab and on the first page it spelled out where to mail the completed ballot. How convenient for Schwab customers!
Thanks BigBang. Do you know if we send the KQ ballots to the same address as the PQ address (NY)?
Sorry, I haven't been following WAHUQ. I'm primarily in WAMPQ & WAMKQ. I'm sure you know more than I do on this one.
Try this. Thanks to LexTrader. It has all the ballots except DIMEQ.

Anyone, when did your WAHUQ ballots arrive? Just recently? This is the only ballot I haven't received yet. I have a pdf copy for WAHUQ in case I don't get it tomorrow. I'm not sweating it.
I received my WAMPQ (Saturday) and WAMKQ (Friday).
