Who is Washington Mutual? We are WMI Holdings Inc. I phoned the phone number listed for Washington Mutual and got nada.

There is NOT $20 billion to distribute. Now the gov't may think they can do that but not in the real world. the $20 B is is a deficit (accummulated losses from prior years).

If you have $1000 in your savings account and a $20 B deficit in your checking account, how much money do you have to buy xmas presents?

Answer: zero (I gave the answer because someone would surely argue $20 billion plus $1,000.

I agree that yahoo should be contacted. I contacted Stockcharts.com and asked them to add the WMIH ticker. They did so with a day and sent me an email alerting me to the addition. Their site previously gave the error message of stock symbol not found.

My guess is early Feb. 29 if not otherwise stated.

I think the real story here is the power of the internet to bring people together to bring about change.

This could be the basis for an inspiring movie or made-for-tv mini-series. And give notice to the "thieves" that they're every move is being watched by folks who have a stake in the outcome.

I know we don't know how long this will take. we don't have crystal balls.

But I believe most courts reserve the courtroom for the days that are estimated.

I'm thinking at least 3 days depending on how many objectors are heard.

The clerk of the court has this information as to the estimate.

Has anyone phoned the BK court to find out how many days the confirmation hearing is scheduled for?

The ballots were received and the shares are locked. I sent the ballots by UPS with overnight delivery. The shares were locked the day after receipt.

Does anyone know in what state NewCo will be incorporated in. We were promised, I believe by Edgar Sargeant, that we would see the Articles of Incorporation before the vote. Maybe it's been posted and I missed it?

We've all been writing our comments in that space. I didn't think about scotch tape. LOL

I shipped my ballots to Fidelity Monday; they were received Tues and the change was made by the open yesterday. Also check History and you'll see the details.

Also, on the portfolio listing, the ticker symbols will be replaced with a number 9393IN77 for PQ, 9393IN85 for KQ. "IN" stands for opt in.

WAHUQ ticker will be replaced with 9393EXC47. "EXC" stands for the exchange election.

I don't have WAMUQ.

I would have left it blank otherwise.

Any of us could have done a better job with the ballot, or at least made the instructions perfectly clear. And we would have made it clear where to send the damn ballot.

It's in the table in the middle of the page. Fill in broker's name.

I don't think it's a deal killer. They want to make sure you're voting consistently within each class.
