True, all I see is it going down every month with the stock price going up in a crappy market.
Mickey, I guess that's why the short interest keeps going down. The smart shorts are covering.
Then do a collar.
I've seen stocks stay overbought for months. Just like they can be oversold for months. Let Idcc get another deal done and see how overbought it will be then.
A stock can stay overbought for a very long period.
OLED, ouch.
I thought it was a little ironic when I read the announcement from Idcc.
WILMINGTON, Del., July 15, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InterDigital, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDCC), a mobile technology research and development company, is proud to announce it has been invited by the White House to participate in the Advanced Wireless Testbed Consortium (“AWT Consortium”).
The AWT Consortium is a groundbreaking public-private partnership being led by US Ignite, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit inspired by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Science Foundation. The consortium will combine expertise and funding from industry, academia and government to encourage the development of next-generation wireless communications technology.
Over the next five years, the AWT Consortium aims to deliver 60 next-generation wireless applications, as well as 200 community test beds where applications can be researched, developed, tested, refined and deployed. In addition to its support, InterDigital will be contributing various technologies focused on backhaul, spectrum management and bandwidth management to the consortium.
“The AWT Consortium will greatly accelerate U.S. wireless research and innovation,” said William J. Merritt, President and CEO of InterDigital. “By collaborating with industry experts to help define and focus critical research areas, this consortium will put advanced wireless technology into consumers’ hands faster. Further, this collaboration among universities, the National Science Foundation, and private industry will help educate, train and nurture the next generation of wireless researchers.”
The AWT Consortium is expected to support research in areas such as mmWave technology and dynamic spectrum, as well as help validate cutting-edge technologies related to radio layers, sensors, spectrum usage paradigms, and application performance.

I'll be buying shares or calls if it drops tomorrow. Paying for them by selling puts.
Wow down a whopping .37 cents on 5300 shares. Selling on this news is dumb. IMHO
then buy puts and sell calls.
So do I. Total BS.
seems a severe storm hit the area.
so did I.
If you're going to short just buy puts. Now your max loss is the premium you paid for the puts as opposed to being unlimited. You'll be able to sleep much better at night doing it that way.
OLED 70+ amazing. Putting IDCC to shame.
LOL.
what moron sold at 56.04.
holding with a few puts.
I got it yesterday in 2 accounts.
Looking at Idcc's chart, we have a golden cross, just barely. Hopefully this brings in more buying.
Idcc agreed to this? Makes no sense.
That's a done deal.
they're doing a great job of getting this down to 47.50.
Looks like they want to keep this at the 47.50 strike for tomorrow. o/i 1118 contracts.
Thanks GeJim, unless we're going into a recession I don't think we'll see that level of 1575. We could but I just don't see it yet.
Ge Jim, if we don't hold 1811 on the S&P 500 your 1700-1725 will happen. We bounced off of that low twice.
Mobile Edge Computing Proof of Concept Accepted by ETSI
"FLIPS-Flexible IP-Based Services" Proposal Submitted by Team That Includes InterDigital Becomes ETSI's MEC Industry Specification Group's Fourth Proof-of-Concept
WILMINGTON, Del., Feb. 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InterDigital, Inc. (Nasdaq:IDCC), a mobile technology research and development company, today announced that ETSI's Industry Specification Group for Mobile Edge Computing (ISG MEC) officially accepted the proposal submitted by the company and four other collaborators titled "FLIPS — Flexible IP-based Services." The proof-of-concept is the fourth accepted by the ETSI group, joining proofs-of-concept by China Mobile, Intel, Nokia and Telecom Italia.
The proof-of-concept, FLIPS — Flexible IP-based Services, is an operator-based MEC application designed to accelerate delivery of IP-based content and streaming media. FLIPS reinvents the approach to IP-based services through the introduction of a software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) enabled network fabric.
FLIPS — Flexible IP-based Services was proposed by a team that consists of InterDigital, Bristol is Open, Intracom, CVTC and University of Essex. The world's first IP-over-ICN-over-SDN implementation was demonstrated by the proof-of-concept team as a labs test of FLIPS on a significantly smaller scale in July 2015 within the EU-funded collaborative research and development action titled POINT ("IP Over ICN — the Better IP"). InterDigital has been driving the development of the flexible service routing platform that underpins the proof-of-concept.
MEC is expected to enable the transition to 5G and is considered a key enabler for Internet of Things. ISG MEC's proofs-of-concept aim to demonstrate MEC as a viable technology and are developed according to the ETSI ISG MEC Proof-of-Concept Framework. The proofs-of-concept will be evaluated against key performance parameters for consideration in standard forums such as ETSI and IETF.
FLIPS — Flexible IP-based Services as a ETSI MEC proof-of-concept will be demonstrated three times throughout 2016. The first large scale demonstration will take place at InterDigital's booth located in Hall 7 Booth 7A71 during Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.

I wish it would of held. This market sucks.
one more run up will do it for me. been in way too long.
Or some bad news is coming out. There is no reason for it to be down this much on no news. I did buy some puts just in case.
no new licenses=bad stock price. This is why I write covered calls on occasion.
I hope so. The markets come back almost 300 points off the low.
it was do for a rebound. We've been beaten to a pulp with the rest of the market.
