whew - so buying NOW at this low price is the thing to do...
thanks all - I am (sorta) new in that I have been following since last summer (buying and selling) so looking to double profits on this...
IF CVM is a scam company (and I am not saying it is/is not), HOW long would it be allowed to trade?
I do own shares of it, and I have called the home office in the past. Also, I have checked the reports with John Hopkins - it "appeared" it all checked out...could it be possible that the reason for the drop of price IS because of the speculative nature of CVM's product in this CURRENT shitty (stock) market?
I am no "pumper" but have read an alot of prospectus (and stuff) on CVM...it just seems awfully wild for it to be a sort of pump and dump (at least not with the actual product it has).
The Steet, on the other hand, DOES have an agenda...but let's leave that for another thread ...
oops "following"
Question for anyone: I have been folling CVM too, so the question is: Isn't probable that the price WILL rise again on "positive news"???
absolutely "knocked in the teeth"... I have been a passive follower and also "feel the pain", but the only thing that will make the price climb will be a full renting of their Facility with "positive cash flow" along with major advancements of their phase 3 and Multikine. Anything short of this will cause this to drop that PPS.
So, we can either buy more or "shit can" this stock ... I will buy more at .60 and below
oops (cut myself off) ...CREDIBILITY is built on WHAT is seen!
Although I am still long on CVM, I don't think we'll see it for "a long" time
I tend to agree with vipper and poorme in regards to the postings of pictures. CREDIBILITY
so, for about $150 (the spread of .03 - low of day was 1.06) you missed the opportunity to make about $800.
I don't get it - if you see a LOW PPS, then BUY whats a few pennies when we are talking about PROFIT
Lesson #1: BUY LOW, SELL HIGH
Lesson #2: You will rarely, if ever, BUY at the lowest point, or SELL at the highest; SO, have a plan and stick to it.
Remember too:
BULLS make money; BEARS make money; and the HOGS get slaughtered!!!
the following is taken off another thread. I want to post this for the "more educated" (than I) could possible respond:
"I think most traders know what has been going on. When an axe takes the bid and ask all day, every day, buying every ask, then putting those shares directly over to the other side, forcing everyone back to the bid where he is. It's accumulation or at least price control to hold it down. I beleive there has been steady accmulation for weeks.
So what happened the last 1/2 hour of trading. The axe layed off the ask to test the water of how many sellers there where at any given price range. Put in a buy order, 200K at the market. And did not move them to the ask. If you have the right info, you will find that ISE did not control the ask most of the last 1/2 hour like they have for weeks.
Now I say that they did it to test the water. It could be that they just wanted to get the order filled at any price, but I doubt it knowing what is on their books. 200K is nothing for them.
One more thing I thought about. If they are waiting for the shelf shares to clear the SEC, they may not want to release any good news about the facility now. They will need those shares ready if a huge contract is in the works and this pops to $3."
hey roger
BUY NOW -- you will also see an 80-100% increase!!!
SOON ENOUGH
how can you predict performance on THIS company whose pps basically moves with positve PR???
Techs and fundamentals really have nothing to do with it at this point.
with all that said, would it be accurate to say that a "big announcement" is pending soon?
I don't hate this stock, never said that. I think CVM is a great buy right now.
yes, I have but I think one officer selling is not sufficient to justify the bashing that resulted in the threads
AND the support levels of between 1.25 - 1.30 contradict any dilution
UNLESS you think I am missing something, lemme know
dont get me wrong: because I do own a "boat load" of CVM, I am not asking for any other reason than to build upon the premise that for what is said in that video there is "current" data/PR/information. Now, if the video is circa 2007, and we are still "spinning our wheels" (given the H1N1 epidemic), then CVM is a MUCH shorter hold than I thought.
It is so, because if you look at the current Facility Status, which there is none, you would realize that CVM may still be a year out from leasing. That simply sucks.
So, incrementally speaking, based upon the video, I would have expected more of a progressive line of PR and development.
the video was taperd in 2007???
Thanks AK907, I received your info.
I think the facility speaks for itself and it will be "SOON" for a news release. It's just a question as to where the PPS will be when the news happens. Even at a $1.00, when the Facility news comes out, I think we'll see the pps bounce to near $2.00
you mean a patient at John Hopkins??? No, I don't know their names.
I think this current controversy will be sharpley answered by the end December because news usually comes out on CVM every two/few weeks. (we are due a pop)
I, for one, have a tremendous amount of shares (for a day trader) to be sitting on. It goes against my cardinal guidelines. However, up to this point, it has paid off "tremendously."
There is no scam, fraud, or other concern with CVM, as I have checked it out. Forces - out of our control, like Adam Feuerstein (sp?) - have manipulated shorts and the like for whoever's gain.
It boils down to how long one wants to sit on their shares, hence fungibilities (cashola).
Multikine, for one, has shown so much promise as a rheumatoid arthritis drug that would justify any long position of CVM.
whoa - thanks for that clarificaton.
Back on CVM: it would be nice to have some positive news come out today - for a Thanksgiving gift....
the H1N1 trial given to the 20 patients at John Hopkins have had to produce some results by now...?
http://www.medadnews.com/News/Index.cfm?articleid=667958
It's been a week to the day VIper, 'ol man! No one has died - yet, and as we see the news that H1N1 is rising can only mean CVM is on the path of higher PPS (of course not before it drops to $1.00)
ha
ya, what the heck is dewdiligence talking about?
Dew - you can not dismiss the fact that CVM is a great short term POS with Facility news and now LEAPS (John Hopkins)
Have you ever called CVM? I did and spoke to Investor Relations - Gavin - he was extremely helpful in explaining
BEARISH - if you are using the 26,12-day EMA.
BUT I CAN'T RELY ON THE MACD. CVM's PRODUCT IS ABOUT TO BE REPORTED (John Hopkins) and Facility News which will be positive are the driving forces, not the technicals
we will see but the product of LEAPS, H1N1 and Multikine are a truism
but even with The Street bashing, support levels are STRONG!!!!!
A CLOSE OF 1.28!!!!! let's see $1.50 as a support
the 5 year chart doesn't "match" if you are looking at 2006: in that you have the highs occurring at the beginning of the year and the lows at the end.
Here, we have highs at the "end" -- HOPING that this trend continues and we have a PPS of over $2.00 soon
Adam's articles only appears to creat support for CVM there is no real huge drop nowadays
thank goodness
then this is HUGE for CVM
FACILITY NEWS WILL BE NEXT TO MAKE THIS PPS POP
AND THEN LEAPS!!
We will see $3.00 by February (height of influenza season)
can there actually be that much dilution caused as a result?
big money coming our way!!!
no, that would excelerate CVM's development of LEAPS/H1N1 by way of FDA involvement!!!
BOOYAH!
I called Cel-Sci and spoke to "Dan" who was helping Gavin (the Investor Relations contact). The basic word on "when" to expect is: "there is no definite point."
Although talking to him, my impression is to look for such signs as mortality of the H1N1 - as it rises above seasonal flu levels, then expect results from the FDA (and the John Hopkins trials).
More than likely, CVM will be sought after by Government contracts only if epidemic H1N1 becomes a higher priorty.
However, Cell-Sci is still a long position, with Multikine, LEAPS, Facility news,
I actually think you are wrong because even though pps has fallen we show support at about 1.30
Now since John Hopkins has taken CVM's studies on people, COUPLED with the news of the swine flue excellerating, expectations ARE that CVM will be HUGE before the end of the year
aprky what the hell are you talking about?
If I may presuppose somehthing: currently seasonal flu is about to hit "full swing." H1N1 has not really gotten into "full swing," if it is a real epidemic.
If H1N1 surpasses the seasonal flu, the FDA has the ability to "do whatever it wants" in order to combat the epedemic. Consequently, CVM is poised to be a HUGE opportunity for investors at this current PPS of about 1.30-1.35.
I suggest you BUY and sit on it. Watch CDC.org for details on mortality.
thanks - but was apprehensive with the idea of selling at 1.40 and missed that opportunity. BUT I foresee this PPS blowing way past $2. on ANY good news from the study at John Hopkins.
At current prices again - 1.35 - is a good buy for anyone. Of course $1.30 would be better - either way we are going to make money on this one
FO SHO
what was the news that made this bounce in the first place?
we need this to bounce to 1.40s for a new support
MMs are controlling it!!!!
Hi Prob -
does this (axccumulation) mean that you would expect the PPS to climb soon?
old news but thanks
