Love that color. . .green!!!
Will Pulse Beverage be at Prepared Foods New Products Conference in Palm Beach, FL in Sept. of this year. . .anyone know?
Ditto. . .
Yes, March 31st is a Tuesday.
Still here. . .still holding. . .still know the good times are coming.
They've always proved through what they say and what they do that they are gutless, selfish and only concerned with "me, me, me. . ."
That was a play on words (or letters--T), kittie88; I was referring to Target Food Stores which I think some others were referring to in previous posts.
Looks to me like things are right on target.
So sorry to hear that and my prayers go out to his family.
Happy New Year and a prosperous 2015 to all my friends. . .and I consider each of you a friend.
:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :).......................................
I'd like to see it finish at .225 or above and personally I think it will finish above that (.225). . .of course I'm a St. Louis Cardinals fan too.
Sure is quiet out there. . .we've got two and a half days left on the stock market this year; any speculation on how we'll finish?
I can't think of any way to say things better than you have Robin so I'll just add my hopes that everyone will be brought a little closer to God during this Christmas season and in the future.
Hey, Kathryn's description and this picture you used, John, will I'm sure pop into my mind each time I read some of the future innuendos relating to Pulse Beverage.
"Just because something isn't a lie does not mean that it isn't deceptive. A liar knows that he is a liar, but one who speaks mere portions of truth in order to deceive is a craftsman of destruction" -Criss Jami
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone!!!!!
Shouldn't the next financial et al report(s) (10-Q) for Pulse be sometime in March, 2015?
I don't remember exactly what the ingredients are in coconut water, but I can tell you there are no chunks in it; it is the same consistency as water.
Guy, I drank a case of Pulse Coconut Water (12 pineapple coconut water and 12 of the regular coconut water) not too long ago; I hadn't tasted coconut water in a long time. I found the more I drank the better I liked it (I guess you could say it grew on me); it was super. I like the regular coconut water better than the pineapple. Hope you get a chance to try it in the not-too-distant future.
Yes Robin, I made a mistake (sorry); I meant to ask that question (about Mexico) of Kathryn2.
. . .or I may be getting you mixed up with someone else (I'm good at doing that).
Hi Robin, how was your trip to Mexico? Did you find Pulse in any or the stores you were going to check out?
Happy Veterans Day to all Vets and their families and God Bless America.
A company going from public to private is the result of a vote to do so by current shareholders. . .the company doesn't just suddenly shift from one status to the other leaving shareholders "holding the bag."
I think most people who have any knowledge of retail sales and selling merchandise in "big box" stores are aware of the fact that a lot goes into getting the opportunity to sell your product in one of these mega stores. I've done a lot of reading on how a business gets such an opportunity (like the one Pulse now has )and I thought I'd share that information. . .I know many of you may be knowledgeable of such information already.

How to Get Your Product Into Walmart

How to get your product into walmartRecently, a long-term client of ten years was rewarded placement in Walmart for their revolutionary new product. It won over Walmart because it’s innovative, made of quality materials, packaged correctly, easy-to-use and understand and our client has the support and the inventory to fulfill the required purchase order (10,000+ units).
If you are a company that has attempted to get into Walmart, you know it is not easy. Walmart is the holy grail for most product companies because one purchase order can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Package Design for Wal MartBelow are 6 points to keep in mind that will improve your chances of getting your product into Walmart.
1. Create an innovative and quality product
All great businesses start with a unique offering in the marketplace. In order for any large retailer to do business with you, your product has to be somewhat innovative. It has to solve a problem needed by many. It also must be durable and packaged in a way so that when customers buy it, it doesn’t break, people can’t steal it and it is designed to be seamlessly placed on Walmart’s shelves. Keep this in mind as you design and develop your product and packaging. Make sure that during production you adhere to Wal-Mart’s requirements and build in good cost margins as Walmart will ask for pricing below wholesale.
2. Develop your brand
We are firm believers in the following statement: “Unless you stand for something, you stand for nothing.” We have 10-20 of everything in the marketplace. Unless you develop your brand you risk falling into the cacophony of products that only differentiate on functions and features. A well developed brand makes your product stand heads and shoulders above the competition because of its unique story and personality.
3. Design great packaging
Package design is key. A great package design can help your product look larger than life on the shelf. A good package design dramatizes and communicates the brand to the customer while demonstrating its use, function and features. It differentiates your brand from your competitors and allows you to stand out. Our client also adds QR codes on their packaging so the customer can scan using their smart phone to see a live demonstration—which further persuades the customer to buy. This also helps you persuade the Walmart buyer when you get your 30 seconds to pitch your product.

4. Build your inventory
One thing that most start-ups overlook is the ability to fulfill large orders. Walmart promises to always give customers the lowest prices on their products and they always ask for large purchase orders…always. Larger orders are typically classified as 7,000 – 10,000 units or more. If Walmart accepts your application to be a supplier, you will need to fulfill the purchase order under their terms, which could be within 15 days, and you may not get paid for 60-90 days. If you do not have a good inventory and the means to stay afloat for 3 months, this could be a deal breaker. This also relates directly to my next point about business history.
5. Build your business history and a good product case study
A lot of our past start-up clients have come to us with one thing in mind: “We want to get into Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, Sports Authority, Dick’s, Lowes, Target, etc.” Most haven’t thought through what it takes to build their business first and are shocked when we tell them the bad news about what it entails – unless the product is truly remarkable and the client has the necessary inventory – but this is rare. We will typically advise you to build a business case study first so that when it comes time to go for it, you are equipped with a track record that says success to the Walmart buyer. You will also learn much along the way. A simple website with online store and online marketing program can help you build your business and obtain valuable experience. This strategy gets the most ROI and allows you to test the validity of the product before making a significant inventory investment. While this is taking place, we advise you to get out there and be willing to take some risks with smaller retailers. This also will provide you with much needed experience to perfect your sales pitch and allow you to test the appeal and validity of your product. Long before Walmart our client was selling in smaller retail outlets like Sportsman Warehouse, Cabellas, Bass Pro Shops and others. This allowed them to identify and get over the many hurdles that you will face along the way.
6. Perfect your pitch and be persistent
Once you have developed your brand, designed a killer package design, built your inventory, have a deep sales history, product case study and have perfected a winning sales pitch, it’s time to apply. Your presentation should be brief and to the point; it needs to showcase and demonstrate the product’s value, tell the product’s sales history, list customer testimonials and review and project future sales. Once you’re accepted, having other products in your product line with the same standards will allow you to expand in Walmart and potentially get into other retailers. If you get turned down, or you experience fragmented or down right rude communication, don’t give up, it may take a few months or years to finally get that first meeting.
By following the above points, you’ll have a good idea and direction on how to go about getting into a large retailer. Contact Garrison Everest to learn more about our Brand Development, Web Design, Package Design and Inbound Marketing programs.

I was really surprised by your news about the Walmart in Jackson, MS; I didn't know any Walmarts in the U.S. besides the ones in Colorado were presently selling Pulse products. . .great information to learn.
Ever notice how some people have nothing to say but negative things about others. . .I know for a fact some people make money just by drawing response to their negative remarks. . .best to not respond at all to them (directly that is).
Wow, Pulse must be scaring/bothering someone, somewhere. . .those who are getting down to printing crap that doesn't make any sense at all. . .unless you're totally uneducated on how the stock market works re: number of various items and brands a vendor can sell.
Yes, Pulse Beverage (like many new companies) is growing slow, but it's slowly growing. . .like Paul Samuelson, Nobel prize-winning economist said, "Investing should be more like watching paint dry or watching grass grow. If you want excitement, take $800 and go to Las Vegas."
Some of the smartest things you can do in stock investing is: never invest what you can't afford to loose, study any stock you're going to invest in--how long has the stock been in existence, how popular is the product, how many stores (vendors) sell the product; if it's a food or beverage, try it yourself. . .this is all part of dd (due diligence); and don't listen to bashers who try to deter you from buying the stock; usually to try and drive the stock price lower or because of bad decisions they've made in buying the stock and they loose money. You'll usually be able to identify bashers because they have nothing but negative things to say about the company or management. Check it all out and make your own decisions.
I've always heard talking to yourself is a little bit funny, but what's really bad is when you start answering yourself.
Good day.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in looking at the last four income statements, it appears to me that Pulse is up somewhat in the last one (June 30, 2014) over previous quarters. . .am I right or wrong? Also Pulse is looking very good so far for this quarter.
What hotels are you referring to Jane?
In my statement, I didn't mention your name. . .In fact I didn't mention any names. I believe more in the old adage "if the shoe fits, wear it." I too say GLTA.
. . .and, oh, I forgot to mention the people out there who make an investment in a company meaning to make a quick buck, loose their money (really just don't make that "quick profit" fast enough) and become "damn-ah'l-get-back-at-them-sum-beeches-one-way-er-a-nuther"'s (definitely not long term investors). . .but that's who really makes the best money in the market--long term investors who do their DD and stick to their game plan.
Here's a good example of paid bashers and how many of them are one person using different names. They attack certain stocks and have nothing to say about said stocks (like Pulse) except negative b.s.; when things are good for these stocks the bashers seem to disappear. They flood particular internet sites like flies on s--t. The below is just an example, but sure sounds familiar to the pests that fly around the Pulse Beverage site and the new names of interested posters that just keep popping up. This particular message is an old one, but some things (and types of people) never change.

Floyd Schneider: a paid stock message board basher unmasked
Posted on 16 April 2008 by Judd Bagley
Tags: Floyd Schneider
Because Gary Weiss was found to be behind the first real example of multi-ID message board bashing to be publicly proved, and because it was apparent from writing and posting styles that one person was making a large percentage of all bashing contributions to the Yahoo boards in particular, we concluded that Gary was generally responsible for most all of it.Well, as we’ve gone on to learn, thanks to more advanced techniques and a few golden tips, we were missing much of the full picture.
The truth is, lately Gary Weiss seems to be playing a decreasingly significant role on the various message boards where the likes of lamborghini751, cupandsaucerwithsugar, state_police_retiree, and bobobaloney once roamed.
And in many places where we long suspected Gary, we’ve instead come to discover Floyd D. Schneider, of Newton, NJ.
Gary: we’re sorry for accusing you of something you didn’t commit…as much as we suspected, anyway.
Floyd: we wish to express our deep disappointment in your decision to make a living out of lying.
Want proof?
Exploiting Yahoo’s Dissembler Sorting Algorithm bug (which we were sworn never, ever to reveal, so please stop asking) we determined that the following seven Yahoo messageboard usernames were tied to the same individual: strethoechasity, returnofstockdung, baloneymarch, zorro20934, china39846, charlesp0nzi, and floydtheoneandonly
Using Google, we found several legal filings, including this one, which make it clear that:
…“floydtheoneandonly,” “charlesp0nzi,” “thetruthseekercom,” are pseudonyms used by Floyd Schneider.”
It seems Schneider has been sued multiple times for making defamatory statements about companies in anonymous message board settings, such as Yahoo and Silicon Investor, and it’s been shown to our satisfaction that he did so for compensation and in coordination with hedge funds shorting the stock (or worse).
In other words, Floyd Schneider is the embodiment of the mythical “paid basher” you’ll find he spends an inordinate amount of time denying exists. In fact, he had been an associate of the convicted naked short seller Anthony Elgindy who, in one of the most famous posts on his siliconinvestor.com website, outted Schneider as a paid stock basher, severing their prior relationship at the same time.
Think about it…someone Elgindy (possibly reading this from his prison cell) considered excessively mercenary. Wow.
A more detailed analysis of Schneider’s posting patterns will soon follow, but here’s a quick summary of the companies he has most ferociously attacked in recent years:
Xybernaut
Matrixx Initiatives
Overstock.com
Novastar Financial
Escala Group
Cenuco
Hythiam
Lucent Technologies
iMERGENT
What do each of these companies have in common? They’re all targets of the illegal market manipulation technique known as strategic failure to deliver, as manifest by their presence on the so-called Reg SHO Securities Threshold List, indicating chronic failed trades of a company’s stock.
I agree with you, Jane and I think the next 10-Q is going to be great; a number of really good things have happened since our last quarterly statement: Smashburger, establishing new presence in Mexico, Unique Foods in Canada. . .just to name a few.
Good finish today and nice volume.
