Don't hear anything, just viewing JB's Desktop. How come ?
Hey guys, anyone following ?? Very, very good company for sure !!!
Thay say code Red ; What to think about ???? See picture : http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/Favorites.CServlet?obj=ID3644290&cmd=show[s206572251]&disp=P
CCME Call sept $10 WTF is happened ? $2.60 last trade as HOD, B/A 1.65-2.00 now by price of $11.20. Somebody wants these shares of CCME badly and knows whats coming ???! :)
$1.84 afterhours / volume 109.100 K what a stupid volatility !!!
YONG $5,68 what's up with this stock ??? Buying opportunity ?
CCME Bought 200 shares at $11.47 was stalking for several days. Will buy more if it drops under $11. Wich will be the trigger for the shorts to cover ??
Most of my life savings remains invested in this company to this day and JB has some learning to do. And maybe if he posted just 2 damn sentences on his FB showing some empathy for his shareholders and acknowledging some of HIS decisions brought us to this point, I would know he actually feels for others, is learning some things about being CEO and I would give him a break
Exactly how I feel and like situation is. This company is working on my nerves big time. And I suppose I'm not alone. I couldn't take it anymore, and was a big believer before. GWMAN you have still hour life savings invested. Can you still stand ? I'm not invested in this company anymore. For me I saw it as an investment, long term and projected a lot in it. Now you can easely say it's just speculation regarding JBII, have to say jbiiE !!?? How could it be that it became so far. How is this possible ??
4$ looked like a barrier, a line in the sand. And then in nearly a week all changed. What happened after the AGM ? Where it just promisesses at the AGM ??? Where is the execution of the so called business plan ??? GWMAN, indeed, where is the word of our respected CEO John Bordynuik ??? I don't hear him anymore. What will happen with all these people and there savings be invested in this stock ? I feel for them, because I know how I feeled last weeks. I will follow this company. In the past I would believe the word of CEO JB, now I'm changed ; Seeing is believing. Succes to all, but I think pps will sink under $1, sentiment has changed !
JBI and Nasdaq. Is NASDAQ Global Select Market the market where JBI applied for ? What now as PPS is < $ 4. One requirement not fulfilled as share price is lower today. Does it have to stand above $4 for a 'green light' of Nasdaq authorities ? So do we have to wait untill price is back > $4 to fulfill qualifications ??
Today green light for CCME (coming from AMEX) ;
CME is one of
the very few Chinese companies to qualify for the NASDAQ Global Select Market, which has the highest initial listing standards of any exchange in the world.
Out of 136 China-based companies listed on NASDAQ, only 26 companies such as
Baidu, CTrip.com International, Shanda Interactive Entertainment and
NetEase.com, fulfill NASDAQ Global Select Market requirements.
Someone is bidding for 4800 shares at 4,07 $ ... I think I know this guy. If it's inevitable the PPS has to go down, there's at least a parachute. LOL
What price do you expect tomorrow ??? I think we can go to $15 minimum. Or will it decline if they don't rise their guidance ?!
Nearly 10.000 shares were sold by a friend of mine around 4.60 $ today. He did this because he's afraid of what has to come. The turmoil this week on the stock markets was the key to sell and lock in profits. (bought in august past year) He's convinced that this crisis will become bigger and stocks on the general markets will decline (much) further. - He made cash of his portfolio - JBI is no exception in his eyes and will decline as well. So lock in these profits ! Fundamental reasons and good expectations for execution of jbii's business plan doesn't count for him. Emotions will take overhand and push down the stockprice of jbi significantly he says.
I, from my site, will hold and sit down on my shares like a chicken on his eggs. But feel a little bit uncomfortable with his view and practice to sell in the end. He will watching and sitting on cash, I will hold and look what comes of jbii in the coming months. This is a big difference between us. And to know I have a lot of my savings invested in jbi. Who's right ? Am I to risky to keep my shares ? Will jbi execute (keep execting) and will jbi create more shareholder value in near term ? If this actual turmoil turns in a new crisis, a land crisis have to say of EU states in Europe (Greece, Spain, Portugal, ...) how will react jbi's share price on it ? You see a lot of questions? Any good answers on it ? Thx
Asian Bamboo signs framework agreement for the lease of 10,000 ha
Hamburg, 15 March 2010 – Asian Bamboo AG (“Asian Bamboo”, “the Company”, ISIN: DE000A0M6M79, ticker symbol: “5AB”, ADR ticker symbol: “ASIBF”), a world-leading producer of bamboo trees and organic bamboo shoots, is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Fujian Xinrixian Group Co., Ltd. (“Xinrixian”), has entered into an Investment Co-operation Framework Agreement (“the Agreement”) with Longyan Municipal Government (“the Government”).
As part of the Agreement, the Government will assist Xinrixian to lease more than 10,000 hectares (ha) of additional Moso bamboo plantations in Longyan City. Longyan City, which is in southwestern Fujian Province, is strategically well located as it borders the provinces of Jiangxi and Guangdong. Longyan City has the highest forest cover ratio in Fujian Province (78%) and its Moso bamboo forests cover an area of approximately 170,000 ha, of which Asian Bamboo currently leases 5,000 ha.
Mr. Lin Zuojun, founder and CEO of Asian Bamboo, commented: "We see tremendous potential to develop our business in the Longyan area and this agreement is an important step towards achieving our longer term goal of increasing our total plantation size to at least 70,000 ha.”

I see big volumes last days. Good sign.
Is this JBI's competitor ? As I'm a large shareholder of JBI, I'm concerned about the ongoing critic on JBI and it's technology. I thought JBI would be the first to commercialize the P2O-technology worldwide. A friend of me found a firm in the UK and Ireland which does the simular P2O proces. They can recover 95 % of the plastic waste. It's a high % if you ask me. What to think about that ??
see link :

CynarPlc Converting Waste Plastic into Liquid Fuel
Cynar is seeking to commercialise this Technology in the UK and Ireland, including manufacturing, sub-licensing and operation.
Cynar has the first fully permitted operational plant situated in Portloaise, Ireland.
Cynar's core aim is to be first to market with the profitable commercialisation of waste plastics to diesel fuel technology and with our partners become the European leader in this industry.

[i]IsleChem is currently running a JBI processor at their site and gathering analytical data to support the Company's green claims and technology.
What does this mean ? That they're not finished yet ? I expected this weekend an announcement of a finished lab report which states that the PO2 is verified and that it works like John claims. So as evidence, that with this independent lab report all criticism and disbelief against the company can be refuted.
Is this not the big thing we are all waited/waiting for ? Or have I missed something ? And if so, how long will it take before we can expect this report ? Is IsleChem the name of the lab who wants his name associated with JBI, because JBI's technology is superior and first not wanted to ?
Personal, I believe his P2O-technology will work but we have to convince the outside world on a large scale.
I have not seen the CC, I will do at night. Maybe herein is said more about it.
Apologize if I see it wrong, but try to manage all the posts and newsflow.
CC; how to participate ? I'm not familiar with joining a CC. Is it sufficent to fill in the name and email adress to follow the CC, and what's John telling ?? I read you have to dial a number. But where is this for ? Thx for the answer and help.
Guzaling, I'm thinking about sharing the ASM on the 24 of April, but I have to come whole over of Europe ... I'm sure like to meet you. The more I think about it, the more I feel I gonna do this.
love this to. 300 bot at $5.10 are mine !

They work their business to a vertically integrated company. Today they take a 40% stake in a leading bamboo plywood manufacturer. Brilliant deal, investing € 3 million in the first year profits take out direcht 680.000 € (40% of 1.7 mill €)
20% of AB 's Bamboo trees this year will be decreased by plywood manufacturer. What?!
Was last time I noticed that they really look after their releases, they just cram everything together. Are economical with their money.
But what is there?
Asian Bamboo 's 17th fastest growing company in China of the 8000 screened. Hello?! And it comes from Forbes!
Weather boost in size.
Forbes ranks Asian Bamboo as the 17th fastest growing company in China
Asian Bamboo AG is also pleased to announce that it was ranked as the 17th fastest growing company in Forbes China Magazine's ("Forbes") sixth annual list of small and medium sized companies in China.
The rankings, published on 5 January 2010, assessed the performance of more than 8,000 listed and unlisted companies with a turnover of between 5 million and 1 billion RMB, based on three-year growth rates in revenue, net profit and return on assets.
Mr. Lin Zuojun commented: "We are proud to be ranked as one of the fastest growing companies in China, particularly as our revenue growth is combined with high profitability."
Asian Bamboo acquires a 40% stake in Xinlifeng
Hamburg, 11 January, 2010 – Asian Bamboo AG (“Asian Bamboo”, “the Company”, ISIN: DE000A0M6M79, ticker symbol: “5AB”), a world-leading producer of bamboo trees and organic bamboo shoots, is pleased to announce that Hong Kong XRX Bamboo Investment Co., Ltd. (“Hong Kong XRX”), a wholly owned subsidiary, has acquired a 40% stake in Fujian Xin Li Feng Bamboo Group Co., Ltd. (“Xinlifeng”), a leading producer of bamboo plywood, for approximately EUR 3 million.
Xinlifeng was created by transferring assets from San Feng Group, which has an established market position in the bamboo plywood industry. Xinlifeng’s bamboo plywood products are mainly used in the construction industry as building templates and have certain advantages over building templates made of other types of wood. The cash contribution from Hong Kong XRX will be used to increase Xinlifeng’s production capacity in order to meet increasing demand. The registered capital of Xinlifeng is EUR 7.5 million and the company is debt free.
The Management Board of Asian Bamboo believes that Xinlifeng will buy around 20% of the Company’s total output of bamboo trees in 2010. In addition, it expects that Xinlifeng will achieve a turnover and net profit of at least EUR 13 million and EUR 1.7 million, respectively. Benefitting from the strong demand in the construction industry in China, in combination with the comparative benefits of using bamboo for building template production, the Management Board of Asian Bamboo believes that the outlook for Xinlifeng is very promising.
Lin Zuojun, CEO and founder of Asian Bamboo, commented: “Our investment in Xinlifeng creates a new major distribution channel for our bamboo trees which will increase total demand, in line with our plans for future plantation size expansion.”
' Be careful ' - please comment.
I'm long in JBI personel. I'm here to stay for a long, long time. Thanks to you, with you excellent DD, I believe this is a pearl !
I convinced a friend of mine to invest in JBI, wich he did in August. He's excited about the stockperformance, and normally he would have been sold already. (normal circumstances you know) I say to him to wait to sell but every time the stock declines a buck he's nervous, because he's 'losing' money. The actual amount worth of stock JBI makes him so ... soooo big in one stock ?!? Difficult to handle for me to calm him down.
I've spoken to another friend of mine about JBI. It's a very smart guy and he's not convinced about the potential of JBI. More, now and then he finds/gets articles saying the opposit concerning JBI. To convince himself not to invest, not have to be invested in JBI ...
So today he emailed me an article he found somewhere. I don't know the source (yet).
To be honest, I'm not as smart to counter each replic of him, special in the following case below. I know you guys have spoken already about the PIPE and the pending capital increase (which prices do you think it will be ? and % of shares diluted ?). But I have not the whole picture clear for me, and that should be, at least for me as a long term investor. (such a schame) Thank for you (brief) answer.
Greetings,
Bambooshot
The CEO has been light on the details of the captial raise, and for good reason. There has been no change in fundamentals in the last month, and yet the market cap has increased from around $50M to $350M in a matter of weeks. Presuming he sold 9 million shares at $0.80/share (see link), the CEO obviously knows that the subsequent three week run-up in shareprice is not justifiable. He knows that the fair value of the company (from his privileged perspective) is closer to his 9 million share offering price of $0.80/share than it is to $6.80/share. Otherwise, the CEO never would have given up such a huge portion of his personal stake in the company at a 90% discount - unless... unless there was an ulterior motive (see link above for what that might be).
It breaks down like this.
1) Either this stock is really worth around $.80/share in the eyes of the CEO, and the recent run-up in price is merely momentum traders having fun.
Or 2) The CEO really thinks this stocks is worth a few bucks, but wanted to get rid of debt to appease investors. So he did a fast PIPE at $0.80/share and then returned his own stock to the treasury to counteract dilution - again to appease investors. All this to curry favor and hope the stock price reacts greatly to the upside. Which it has. And now the trap door is set. The board recently approved the increase of the number of authorizd shares from 70 million to 150 million. Apparantly, the company won't be able to grow the business on their internal free cash flow alone. So they will need to dilute massively. And I think this was the plan all along. Jack up the stock price and then dilute. Think about it, and tell my why the CEO likes to pretend to be a good steward by returning his own shares to the treasury with one hand, while his other hand is increasing the number of authorized shares by over 100%. It's a joke! So he returns a token 9 million shares to the treasury, and later on dilutes by tens of millions of shares. Be careful.
