didnt help with the pps today at all, bummer, expected a nice little pop. all in good time i guess,
Normally, thats what we should do, but with all Culley has put us through, you almost dont want to throw any more good money after bad. Might be better just to wait it out with what we have and hope they come through with 514 and 530! JMHO
Been here for almost 7 months. Mine still have not sold. Good luck to you.
Velvet, You do make some pretty good and valid points. Have been long here and will stay long through this. People bashing this r/s are ones who dont understand what could be happening, or are looking for quick bucks and cant stand to hold for any length of time. Zigzag made some great points and did alot of great DD on this company, and I hate to see him go. Hopefully after the initial shock and aggravation, he will be back with us. Great time to pick up some more, and patience here will be the key. Lock up some shares and forget about them for 6 months to a year and I feel we will be more than happy with our investment. GLTY and have a great weekend.
It was MRNA that aquired a company called Cequent Pharmaceuticals in an all stock deal last week. Could this be a possibility down the road as well for ANX?
Zig,
I saw earlier in the week, and I cant remember off the top of my head, that a smaller biotech aquired a bigger one in an all stock deal. I read it on Sheffs board! Maybe this could be a reason to have this on the back burner, in case they want to make an aquisition down the road. With Icahn's involvement here, who knows. I could be reaching here, but just trying to look for something positive. If they can get approval on 1 or both of their drugs, an aquisition could strengthen the companies position. If I have time later I will read through Sheffs board and get you the company names involved in the deal. Just my opinion and wondered what you thought!
Ive fallen and I cant get up!! Enough said!!
I can deal with that, Its still early. I dont like the reference he makes constantly referring to us as ladies. Totally uncalled for.
Probably right, although when we had that little pop not too long ago, they dissappeared completely. Gotta love MCLN and what it brings to the table, even if it's not till Thanksgiving dinner!
I think most traders have gotten tired of waiting around for some quick cash, and the longs dont hang around all day, just patiently await the inevitable increase in pps that is coming, whether it be by sales or by buyout. IMO only!!
You posted the same message on 5 different boards. This is MDFI's board. Go post your spam messages somewhere else!! Moderator, please remove this messageas it does not pertain to MDFI!!!!
same here, my sediments exactly. I believe in multikline, but not sure i believe in the company itself anymore.
With the potential of their 2 big drugs and both nearing final stages before approval, there is no reason their pps should be below .50. There are many trading at or above anx that are no where close to where anx is in terms of bringing drugs to the market. The shorts have done a good job keeping this down and the bashers have many investors scared, and in turn they sell and cause more to panick sell, thus a snowball effect. This is my opinion, but I do know we have great potential not only in their pipeline, but also possibilities of being bought by a biggie who needs to freshen up their own business. PFE or GSK would be my first guesses.
Blue, I would consider staying away from any stock under a buck until you get a feel. Appa should be ok, but stay away from the pennies. They can turn your portfolio negative in a hurry! JMO and glty
I saw her and the dude she was with. He had a weird accent I couldnt place. I saw them while I was at the world series of poker. Couldnt beat there prices though, they were 3.50 everywhere else. I can remember him saying, "water for a dollar guys, cold water for a dollar, guys!! lmao GO Medefile!!!
i have some for sale at 3, 4, and 5. Just came up a little short
getting above my average would, but I need to see .2752 for break even, and have no dry powder to pick up more.
This is a joke. All the volume this week and nothing. What do you expect for a business with 2 employees, who coincidentally are the owners. Cant get the price over .0001, thats pretty sad. Have had mine for sale for 4 months, and it still hasnt been sold. The only ones making money here are the damn MM's
how about today!!!!! Could use something to cheer about going in to the weekend!!
Idiots stop undercutting bid and ask and this will run, short volume should help. Dont undercut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe, in cvm's eyes, they were not a partner until they ponied up the cash. Now that they have come through with the green, cvm can recognize them as a partner. Curious to hear adam's reply.
I like this part!!!
Pursuant to the agreement, Byron will purchase $750,000 worth of stock from CEL-SCI and will make a payment of $125,000 in 12 months. Byron will also be responsible for registering the product in the Territory. Once Multikine has been approved, CEL-SCI will be responsible for manufacturing the product, while Byron will be responsible for sales in the Territory. Revenues will be split 50/50 between CEL-SCI and Byron.
Seems they are confident it will get approval! I sure hope so, these are great levels for buying and holding long term, imo!
CVM News OUT!!!
CEL-SCI RECEIVES PAYMENT FROM MARKETING PARTNER
Byron Biopharma Makes Payment to Maintain Exclusive License for Multikine in its Territory
Vienna, VA, March 10, 2010 - CEL-SCI Corporation (NYSE AMEX: CVM) announced today that it has received a $125,000 payment from Byron Biopharma ("Byron") under its licensing agreement where CEL-SCI granted Byron an exclusive license to market and distribute the Company's cancer drug Multikine® in the Republic of South Africa (the "Territory"). CEL-SCI already has existing licensing agreements for Multikine with Teva Pharmaceuticals of Israel and Orient Europharma of Taiwan in other countries. CEL-SCI plans to keep the European and US marketing rights for the Multikine head and neck cancer indication in-house.
Under the agreement, Byron will also be responsible for registering the product in the Territory. Once Multikine has been approved for sale, CEL-SCI will be responsible for manufacturing the product, while Byron will be responsible for sales in the Territory. Revenues will be split 50/50 between CEL-SCI and Byron.
"We are pleased that Byron has elected to make this payment to maintain its rights in the Territory," said Geert Kersten, Chief Executive Officer of CEL-SCI. "We are continuing to seek marketing and development partners in other emerging markets, while maintaining rights to key markets, even as we prepare to commence a pivotal Phase III study for Multikine in head and neck cancer. Fortunately we are in a financially strong position allowing us to proceed in this manner." Head and neck cancer is one of the world's biggest cancers affecting about 650,000 people per annum worldwide.
CEL-SCI is developing Multikine for approval as a first-line indication in newly diagnosed head and neck cancer. To that end, the Company's planned Phase III clinical trial is an 800 patient randomized, controlled clinical study designed to demonstrate that administration of its cancer drug Multikine to head and neck cancer patients before they receive any other conventional cancer treatment will increase their overall survival. In Phase II clinical trials Multikine was shown to be safe and well-tolerated, and to improve the patients' overall survival by 33% at a median of three and a half years following surgery.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave the go-ahead for a Phase III clinical trial with Multikine, and has granted CEL-SCI's Multikine an Orphan Drug Designation for the "neoadjuvant therapy in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN)". Recently CEL-SCI finished the validation of its dedicated state of the art commercial-ready manufacturing facility for Multikine.
Multikine is the first immunotherapeutic agent being developed as a first-line standard of care treatment for cancer. It is administered prior to any other cancer therapy because that is the period when the anti-tumor immune response can still be fully activated. Once the patient has advanced disease, or had surgery or has received radiation and/or chemotherapy, the immune system is severely weakened and is less able to mount an effective anti-tumor immune response. Other immunotherapies are administered after the patient has received chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy, which can limit their effectiveness.
Multikine is a patented defined mixture of naturally derived cytokines. It is the first immunotherapeutic agent in a new class of drugs called "Immune SIMULATORS". Immune SIMULATORS simulate the way our natural immune system acts in defending us against cancer.
About CEL-SCI Corporation
CEL-SCI Corporation is developing products that empower immune defenses. CEL-SCI is also developing an immunotherapy (LEAPS-H1N1-DC) to treat H1N1 hospitalized patients and a vaccine (CEL-2000) for Rheumatoid Arthritis using its L.E.A.P.S. technology platform. The LEAPS-H1N1-DC treatment involves non-changing regions of H1N1 Pandemic Flu, Avian Flu (H5N1), and the Spanish Flu as CEL-SCI scientists are very concerned about the creation of a new more virulent hybrid virus through the combination of H1N1 and Avian Flu, or maybe Spanish Flu. This investigational treatment is currently being tested in a clinical study at Johns Hopkins University. The Company has operations in Vienna, Virginia, and in/near Baltimore, Maryland.

at 4 what? do u mean 4pm, or afterhours or what. u lost me there. sorry
all this excitement and expectations with this crazy volume, and we are no better than we were 3 months ago!! we went no-where! What a shame!!jmho
Did I miss something? Up .07 to .7168(10%)!! Maybe some news pending to give this a push back north would be fine by me!
Thanks for the reply. I expect a nice little pop when approved, hopefully regaining that 50% or so they lost over the last few months. Should be a 5-6 dollar pps, so we have some room to move. Cheers!
CCC,
Been watching NSPH as it has been dropping over the last few months(about 50% or so)and was wondering your opinion on this one. I think they have a great chance of getting FDA approval later this month on their verigen cardiac troponin 1 test and was wondering if you had any thoughts on this. I also see the ceo did a little direct buying on March 4th. Thanks in advance, and congrats on the sheff board promotion!
We all hope that too, although with this much volume and only a couple hits at .0002, who knows. Cant believe it didnt move up at least to .0003 with all this volume. Maybe its a buyout for a penny a share and "all the people in the know" are loading up. I wouldnt put it past those jersey guys(myself being one of them) to have worked a deal! Would be nice!
How does the bid/ask, which were both at .2289, go to .2268 and .2269 respectively within a blink of an eye. If you have buyers at .2289 and the ask is the same, how come no sales at that price and then they drop it down like that. This is ridiculous manipulation in my opinion!!
is this thing even trading? still showing yesterdays volume on my screen, and hasnt budged since yesterday morning at 10 am.
Good point! I have seriously considered starting to short some of these stocks. Seems like it would be easier, especially when 75% of the posters on ihub keep saying how far down they are because they listend to the pumpers and bought too high, etc, etc. Just follow the pumps, then wait to where it looses its steam, then just start shorting. I dont know though, I would not feel right making money by seeing others loose their shirts, even though I know some shorter has become very wealthy off of shorting some of the ones i have bought!!lol Points to ponder.
I have not seen it yet. Could have been blocked or went to my spam box. I will check it when I get back home. Thanks for the response!
Derby, I did send an email to sec about this one and a couple others last week, but have not even gotten a reply back. Maybe we should write bernancke or geithner(spelling?) or whoever can make a difference!
Well I know Im not manipulating myself, at least not during trading hours!! lmao
More head games from our MM's is my guess. They should be shot. I wonder if they put the rookie MM's on the pennies for learning the ropes. I sure know I dont see this kind of crap on my nas and nyse stocks I have. They have the bid higher than the ask, then I see the last price either 1 cent higher or lower than the ask or bid, its just been crazy watching this stuff. They sure are trying to hold down a number of stocks I watch thru the day, and it just seems like it should be illegal to me, jmho!
Can I get a level 2 shot. Sitting at the car dealer and dont want to download my stuff on their computer. Thanks in advance!!
Last trade at 10:09 am this morning. Wonder whats up?
Somebody help me out here!
When all the stock at the ask has been bought up, the next highest ask price should be up next. But I have seen countless times, not only here but on a lot of pennies, they drop it down lower than the previous ask price. Sometimes I see the ask drop below the bid, then all hell breaks loose for a while until it settles. How cant that be illegal manipulation to hold down a stock? If people are buying and its moving up, how can they get away with not increasing the ask and lowering it down, and like I said, even below the bid. I know its called manipulation, but how can they consistently get away with it? Im not new to investing, but havent played with the pennies until about 6 months ago. TIA
Can someone please post a level 2 screenshot? Tia
