to try and sum it up short,

Promoters buy up huge amounts in the millions of worthless shares of stock in these pinks (like when you see HUGE volume but pps does not move) then later when there ready they start trading between themselves to show theres action starting with the stock.

Then they start pumping sending out emails, hot stocks for the day and message board pumps that the stock is going to new highs etc.

Everyone that see this wants a piece of the action as the boards are filled with manic pumps 24hrs day and volume is way up!

Now that (soon to be bagholders) are buying in to get on in of the action, the promoters are dumping there shares on them that there buying until there out and the pps starts crashing and volume starts to dry up!

Then the pumpers try a assure everyone before there gone that its going down because mm's need shares, its a shake, weak hands are being shook, just some profits taking etc. etc. but the pps contiunes to fall and fall and fall!

then the partys over! the pps has dropped somewhere from ~40-70% and the stock starts trading sidways for weeks to months to come until its turn come back for another pump n dump go around!

q4 report says the same thing a/s increaed 5 billion which makes it 15 billion as of dec 2009!
