Excellent news.
It has been written down in value on the books, but we still have the secret process for extracting microscopic gold from desert sands via the GPGI acquisition.
Can I ask why the confidence, if it may be unfounded? Is it the "inherent goodness of mankind" or something more? What shakes my "confidence" is the massive dilution of shares, with no real explanation of the quid pro quo.
I agree.
Yeah, after seeing the total share count, my expectations are reset quite a bit.
Thanks, great news.
The dilution was a killer..
I'm holding this stock and hoping for the best. I see the great future potential. My thought is that the painful price drop is explained by the large dilution in total shares, nothing more than that. Something real is needed to justify the total share count. Until then, it is pie in the sky. Until then, we is a busted stock.
Thanks. Very articulate presentation in writing. High hopes, maybe just like the ant and the rubber tree plant.
Good article, thanks!
Thanks Pete, great post.
Like Sidney Greenstreet, playing Kasper Gutman, in The Maltese Falcon, all i can say is:
"Seventeen years I've wanted that little item and I've been trying to get it. If we must spend another year on the quest... well, sir, it will be an additional expenditure in time of only... five and fifteen seventeenths percent".
One of those 10K at .25 was me.
I'm here for 3 years and holding.
Nice find. They have an $11 billion market cap according to the release.
Ditto. What are the terms of the stock options?
True dat. Its gonna be harder to sell tickets to this Nigerian clown show after today. We need some good news. The marginal fields idea is a non-starter, but I could see where it might be on the agenda for a knighted billionaire philanthropist. Better to make a deal with Total, and soon I hope. I'm holding what I have left after selling a big chunk today, for a lot less than I hoped for in recent days. Couldn't stand the heat I guess; afraid that long term speculation could become a really long term. Sorry to be a downer, but that is how I feel about this today, and psychology plays a part.
Thanks, that's clear enough that even I can understand it (and I've never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express). P50 numbers are a lot better than p10 numbers!
Thank you.
Please, what is the difference between p10 and p50 and the significance?
Midtier, thank you very much for that report.
Thanks! I needed that.
It looks like my account just hit an iceberg. Do we have those in Equatorial waters? IMHO ERHE won't find any buyers for a new company to develop marginal fields in Nigerian waters without something positive being announced in the JDZ.
I just voted no to all except Blair.
Wishful thinking that this was the week when the big news would put me on easy street. Why not add a few more shares based on assurances from a poster who says this is it for sure, for sure, for sure, big news coming now!? I was happy holding a big position 2 weeks ago. I added and now I feel overloaded with a worthless dog stock that I will have to hold for years and years. This is not the first time I've added to a position wishing for a quick profit; greed I guess. Solution for me is to lighten up next chance I get, and hold only what is comfortable. How many times do I have to touch that hot stove?
Thanks Longtimer, best post of the day. EOM
Mugwump,
It was your mention of ERHE on the voy forum that got me into this stock and reading this great site. Thanks. I'm big time long (for me) and waiting for good news and a jackpot.
Same here, I hope I can hold on for the ride. ERHE is the best bet in my portfolio right now for a jackpot. Jimmy likes jackpots!!
MN, keep that rally monkey going. Yesterday and today were two great innings for ERHE. I got home from the golf course to see that ERHE was up 9 percent today on good volume. That sure does cover my greens fees! I think I'll tee it up again tomorrow.
Thanks to All
I've been following ERHE as a shareholder for a few years, thanks to you folks. I started buying at maybe 70 cents and continued adding as the stock went down. There is no doubt in my mind that I would have sold out at the lows around 10 cents if I were on my own. The hard work you folks have put in to board and ibox is inspiring.
I have a small stake compared to many of you, but it is the biggest position in my portfolio. I want to be there for the party if we hit it big! In fact this is my first post on ihub; I just wanted to express some gratitude. I'll be happy to buy a round for you all when we hit the big time.
