I've been asking the same questions and noone seems to have the answer.
I’m still wondering what happened to the buy back the first week of April? And don’t tell me they are waiting for the funding. That’s just an excuse. The last PR specifically stated the “FIRST WEEK OF APRIL”. Followed by the funding SHOULD be closing in two to three weeks or 10 days. Any of you guys that seem to have Deans personal # on speed dial ask him about this?
Wrong? My question was is there any way to find out how much insiders own? Yes, Dean recently bought 6 million shares, but what percentage of the outstanding shares are owned by insiders? And are they buying now that $350 Mil in funding is said to be closing very soon?
So then the answer is NO. Too bad, you’d figure if something good was coming, insiders would be eating up shares like crazy.
What percent of the outstanding stock is owned by insiders? Is there any way to find this out for a pinky?
If the funding amount has increased, then why would there have been “compensation for their delays in funding”?
You don’t see where I have a problem? Dean keeps jumping the gun with PR’s that don’t come to fruition. Why state you are going to start the buyback the first week of April if you need the funding to do so. Then in the next sentence state that the funding will be closed in two to three weeks?
March 26th PR
“The corporate buyback of company shares will begin in earnest the first week of April 2010, and will continue until the company has repurchased up to twenty (20%) percent of the total outstanding shares.”
Our funding source confirmed to us in writing yesterday that the final hurdles to completion of our loan have been overcome and Quasar Aerospace Industries, Inc. will be fully funded within the next two to three weeks.
And yes, Dean updated the Market indicating that the finalization of the Loan was extended due to amendments reducing the equity position of the Lender in QASP shares. But what happens to those extra share? More to add to the O/S?
I hope QASP blows up big time and we all make a ton of money. But you have be a little skeptical with the PR’s saying one thing and then nothing happening.
I hope you are right. Dean really need to stop PR’ing and not following through. Its very frustrating. But it will be worth it if all is true and the funding comes through. Guess we’ll find out soon enough.
Speaking of buyback, what happened to it starting last week?
But should the O/S decrease if they are buying back shares?
What happened to the buyback last week? Any of you that seem to speak to Dean on a regular bases ask him what’s up?
Like I said, Dean loves Friday PR’s. I was off about an hour on the timing though. Now, was the close delayed QASP and Dean went to Chicago to negotiate a reduced penalty, or was the closing delayed by the investors and now they are getting less shares at closing?
Also, what happens to the equity, if they are share of QASP, are they going to dilute our O/S?
Well, on the bright side, at least Dean is updating us now.
Dean likes Friday PR's, no? Around 2PM?
Question: If Dean got the funding closed, wouldn’t it be prudent for QASP to be buying back share in earnest right now? The volume and PPS doesn’t appear like they have even begun buying back yet.
Lets just hope it is not a fluff PR. The last few have been good, but if we get Fluff, the exit doors won’t be able to open wide enough. I think we need to start seeing some buyback action too. Friday is almost upon us, and the “Buyback” to date appears to be nil.
This has to be the most frustrating stock I’ve ever owned. I’d be pulling my hire out, but I’m already bald. If this tanks, I’m taking what I have left and going to the casino, at least there you get instant gratification or despair.
Any one that would buy because of talk on a message board and not do there DD first is a fool. And you know what they say, “A fool and his money do soon part.” Just sit back and relax. I think anyone that bought this morning will be VERY happy few weeks from now.
So, does the buyback start at open today or does Dean wait a day or two?
Looking like she’s ready to breakout!!!
Is there a limit to how many shares QASP can purchase in one day during the buyback? Next week, if not later this week, we should see some very interesting volume.
Company Buying Back + People seeing the Company Buying Back and buying = Major Volume = Sharp Price Increase.
Then throw in funding completion + major acquisitions = “Wholly Crap!!!! How much does a share cost now??? “
I’m surprised the .01’s aren’t history already. But next week, they should be a thing of the past. IMHO.
QASP NEWS!!!!

Say good buy to the .01's!!!! Liftoff coming soon!!!
Great News!!!!!
I think this PR was a good update on One of QASP companies. Can’t knock Dean for that. I’ll admit a lot of their PR’s have been fluffy, but the last few have been pretty good. It is just not the one everyone is looking for, $350MM in the bank. Hopefully soon.
I can never get those 3 minutes of time back in my life. Why did they never bother with a call?
Said nothing new
OK, waiting for #3 & #4 then. Good to see progress though.
I’m sorry, did I miss something, Pal?
Since QASP secured the funding 2 JV’s and 3 acquisitions have been announced, correct? How is this not the 3rd?
Good to see Dean is done with Fluff PR’s. OK, Acquisitions #1 & #2 are complete and yet to be named. This is #3 and we are waiting to hear on #4.
From the November PR:
Industries Inc. (PINKSHEETS: QASP) has been assured by their funding source that the entire $350,000,000 (350 million USD) will be closed and settled no later than December 15, 2009 and will start closing the 4 acquisitions immediately thereafter.
Can we assume the $350MM funding is complete and in the bank? Looks to me like they closed 3 out of the 4 so far. #4 will probably be announced by the end of this month. IMO. With more in the pipeline.
This is finally starting to give me the warm and fuzzies!!!
Can anyone tell me what the O/S and A/S are?
Thanks richboy, I’ll keep it on watch and look for a good entry point.
Anyone think this will dip a little below .0015? Thinking about buying in, but I'm a little nervous buying at the 52 week high.
Well, I did have to wait until this morning to buy back in.
Boy, that was a nail biter!!! Sold yesterday to make a quick buck on another stock. Back in today with double my prior position. Now, if only Dean would give us some solid news.
I have to say, the last few months trading have been discouraging. The O/S and A/S increasing, PPS decreasing, lack of transparency is very frustrating. I think the longer it takes to close the $350M funding, the less likely it is to happen. But like I’ve said in the past, this is a gamble. Risk vs Reward.
My thoughts exactly! You said it, “Take a Chance”. That’s all we are doing, gambling. We do our DD to better the odds and reduce the risk. But gambling is all it is. IMHO, this could have some great potential, but Dean needs to show some of that transparency he was talking about. Until then, its just going to be ugly around here. Pumpers will pump, bashers will bash, let just hope we all don’t get burned.
Enough of the fluff!!!! Let shareholders know whats going on. This is getting ugly. The PR on the two acquired companies should have been written long before Dean got back from Germany. They have had adequate time to notify all their vendors. One billing cycle is long enough.
Ok, well that answers some of the questions I had. The buyback has not begun yet. The $350M loan is still not closed. And we are getting the terms of the loan in small pieces. Why is there a delay in closing the loan?
Still no names of the acquired companies, which is odd. They’ve had a month to notify vendors
The problem here isn’t that Dean doubled the A/S, it’s that he needs to keep shareholders better informed. Show some of that transparency he was talking about. He should really consider hiring a good PR firm. All the PR’s released seem to generate more questions than answers. Then people start making wild speculations. Dean should let us know, what’s going on with the Buyback? What are the companies that have been acquired and some details about them? Has the entire $350M loan been closed and what are all the terms to that loan?
Dean needs to step up and stop playing games. Tell the whole story. Not just bits and pieces with no conclusions. Let’s start seeing some of that Transparency he was talking about!!!!!
I believe Dean was referring to the Authorized Share in his PR. I’d be more concerned with this then the O/S.
