Hi Tom,
Thank you sir! You too, have a good year! Looks like the ten year note is touching 2.6%, should help the financials!
2018 Sandbox,
Trading a much more concentrated portfolio this year and I'm swinging for the fences... Profit from your ideas!
Hi Clive, Re: Golf
I bought a set of golf clubs on Ebay-UK... They are here but it took awhile to get them through customs over there in England... Price looked better when it was quoted in pounds, not US dollars... Grin... Best regards, Ken
Hi Tom, Re: Sandbox,
After reviewing all my work from 2017 there was way to much diversification in my sandbox... Wheel spinners and losers dampened the total return... Starting 2017 with a much more concentrated effort which should lead to much higher risk but much higher rewards too... I think Don Carlson would be proud! Best regards, Ken
OT/ Re: Global Warming
Global warming is one sick joke!!!! It doesn't exist!!! It's -13 here and the wind chill is -31... Enough with the global warming stupidity!!! Profit from your ideas!
Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas!
Best wishes to all on the A.I.M. board! Kenny and Pammy
Hi JF,
yes, I'm in.... plenty of powder dry if we go lower, plus a good stake of shares should we move higher.... JMHO, but given the action the past few months, one, or several of the institutions has taken over the daily volumes... Ground it up from $0.40 up to $1.05 to get in a position, then ground it back down to low $0.80's shaking the tree hard to see who'd give up, now a bounce back up... easy money...
Hi JF Re: Buy,
Congrats on the buy down at $0.81 yesterday...
Re:Cash,
You went all cash at $0.819? Or are you asking me?
50 Day,
Looks to be touching the 50 day moving average here at $0.81... Half days trading volume already in the first 30 minutes, I'd say that is a good sign... Powder dry, ready to purchase if we break into the .70's... We'll see what happens... Profit from your ideas!
Drop and Add.....
I dropped my energy stock and replaced it with a biotech today... Makes me feel like I'm back in college at Purdue... Profit from your ideas!
Hi Tom, Not Okay,
I wonder why it was okay for all these programs to dial in to the data for all these years, then now it isn't? Wonder if Verizon take over had anything to do with it? I can set high/low parameters at my broker, and get an alert on my cell phone... But it sounds like Net Stock was a real time tracker too during market hours, plus other features I'm sure... Best regards, Ken
Hi Tom, Re:Historical Prices,
Nasdaq provides Open, High, Low, Close..... For time frames 3 months up to 10 years... Does this work for you???? Let me know... Best regards, Ken... Also, AI E-Update doesn't work anymore since the shut down... I need to contact them and see if this Nasdaq thingy will work for them... Here's the link.... http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/dia/historical
Bullish oil.....
I re-established my oil stock holdings today... Just too bullish to sit it out in that sector... Bust the $56 and I think we race to the $60's... Dips under $51 and I think it's a bust... Bit of a dip on my banks I sold, but not enough yet for a go signal... Tough to find anything cheap out there... For now I'll just shoot the fish in the oil barrel again... Up 3.24% since the first half hour this morning... I've got 21 minutes to slide a little of that off the table into my pocket... We'll see.... Profit from your ideas!
Hi Tom, Re:Playing with cash, truck,$$$$,
Since the indicators we all look at are near record highs I still feel pretty good about my cash out last week... So the question I'd like to raise on this board is... "What do all you people do with your winnings?" Since we mechanically trade other people's money into our accounts there's got to be a goal, right? Well for me I've been looking at trucks for a few months now. So with this recent cash out, I've taken some of the gains and bought another truck. Tuesday I traded away my Ford Ranger for a Chevy Colorado. Yes, I paid cash, but the best part is that cash came from those trades and from someone else's pocket... With out question this book, board, and methods we use has changed our lives for the better! Hopefully others will chime in with what they do... Also, now that I've used a chunk of cash for the new truck, I need to get back in there and hack around and make some more money right???? Double wide grin!!!! I truly mean it when I say "Profit from your ideas!" We are at record levels and wishing the board to enjoy the fruits of their trading... Best regards, Ken
Hi Tom, re: Typo
Not sure how that typo got by me(grin)??????... I went to the eye doctor this month, 3rd time ever in my life... He said my vision got slightly better... Still on my first pair of glasses ever from 2015... Looks like my "AIM" was off when I typed that... Best always, Ken

Hi Tom, Re: Out
I've got a really good year going so far, so I took the defensive approach... I'm not advancing, just drifting when all boats rise... That's a big red flag right there... Either we are at/ near the top or what I own is... In either case that's not a good sign... My bio, drug, oil, media, etc were stalled at best... Prolly should of hung on to my bank stocks but I didn't... Okay, you want me to handicap it????? I'd say 50/50 coin flip we either go up 5% from here by Dec 1st or down -15% for a correction... So risk out weighs reward 3 to 1 next 5 weeks or so... If I'm wrong, I'm wrong... I will re-deploy quickly if we do pull back... Now... " Out the window"... When you typed that it jarred my memory of a story from a dear friend who passed away a few years back... He grew up in Chicago... In his "ethnic" neighborhood a police officer was shot and killed... The cops caught the guy...got his confession...tied him to a chair... then threw him out a 3rd story window... said he was trying to escape... So yes, I'll be very careful stepping out windows, and thanks for the memory jar... You made a good comment the other day on here... Can the Fed let the air out of the bond balloon slowly enough without crashing the market???? I think Trump is more dove-ish on rates than people think, Yellon stays on I'd say... Best regards, Ken
Hi Tom, re-Age Update,
I turned 60 back in July... Retired August 15, 2017, age 56... Now on my 5th year of retirement using investment income... It's wonderful for sure... Wife on her 6th year out the door... This investment stuff works if you plan and execute it right... One of my best golf seasons ever this summer followed by one my worst bowling season starts in decades... Amazing all the questions from co-workers still at the daily grind... They ask how? Then when I tell them , you just get stares from people... Love it!!!! Best regards, Ken
Powder...
It's dry... All of it now... Profit from your ideas!
Raised cash Monday,
Raised cash Monday... Stocks looking more and more tired as we go up... Looked to be wrong yesterday, but vindicated so far today for raising cash... Looks like one year rates are highest since 2008-9-ish... Tom tripped a bearish signal too on "relative valuation"... I think Jon has been north of 60% since I can remember... My portfolio was drifting, or just floating, past couple run ups... Fewer and fewer participants... So I'll step out the door to the window and cash out... Profit from your ideas!
Update...
I updated my age on my profile... Profit from your ideas!
RE: Monthly Reports...
Hi Steve... I've posted 6 updates since the first of the year but haven't for a few months now. Never really got much of a response from anyone on here and seemed like a waste of time. I do use AI so my results are all calculated automatically with every price update or trade. I too AIM each holding as it's own machine but reported the total portfolio results. I got back in AXAS a while back this year, nice run we've had lately!!! Grin... Profit from your ideas! Best regards, Ken
Toofuzzy
This is the Aim Board , I missed the moving average or ma crossover chapters in Mr Lichello's books, what pages were those concepts on? What edition? Profit from your ideas!
Re; "whip sawed",
I've made a boat load of money over the years getting "whip sawed". Sometimes it's happened daily in a trading position. Whip sawed = someone else's cash ends up in my account... I love it... Bring it on!... Best regards....

OT/ Michigan here this weekend in West Lafayette, 4pm Fox... Boilers vs Fighting Harbaughs... Notre Dame at Michigan State 8pm... I can't wait... Our Pack took it on the chin again last night in Atlanta... Is this a new NFL rule? The Packers have to play against last years play off teams and the Lions get patsies the first six weeks every year????? Geeeeeeeeeeeeeesh!!!!

Hi Jon, Oscillator
An oscillator isn't a oscillator if it doesn't oscillate... Slap that thing off the top of the desk and see if that needle moves any... Grin... Best regards, Ken

Glad you think it's tough analysis too. That's why I asked you. I appreciate your thoughts, thanks... Best regards, Ken
Hi Tom, Re: The Bond Trap...
Well any of us that have held bonds for an extended period of time and have not sold, like wife and I, are sitting on "Huge" capital gains. Dilema is, was, and always will be what's the right course? If you're trading for max cap return then going to some cash makes sense... But if we take our longer duration funds say up to 30% cash, well then that cuts the monthly income stream by 30%. On top of that there's going to be a "Huge" capital gain to pay taxes on. Plus on top of that it would kick us up to a much higher tax bracket. On top of that, if we sold some and say didn't put it back to work for years, those shares could have been spinning off monthly dividends during that time too. It's never an easy answer any which way you go Tom, cause we don't know future events. I would say staying in, as we have with income funds, over the years has paid us like a bandit. We, like you I'm sure, have collected so much money over the years that we are playing with the house's money at this point... One thought Pam and I have now, which overrides a lot, is the fact we are older and retired and it's nice to have all those shares pay us now, as we go, while we are living and young enough to enjoy it... Do you wrestle with these thoughts too? Best regards, Ken
Hi Tom Cash Levels?
Couple of general questions.... Do you use different cash level thresholds for vealies? IE: Stocks vs bonds? Different types of stocks? Different types of bonds and durations? Willing to hold much less cash in a short duration bond fund than in a medium or long term? Junk, high risk vs investment grade or gov't? Or are they all piled together as one big income producer? Don't need to give away the store, just wondered what your thoughts were... Best regards, Ken
