3 of them as I recall...
Qureka (a really smart guy & highly valued member)
Leenico (a really good guy)
& if I'm not mistaken, Kinnaree (another good guy)
May they all RIP & I sincerely hope their heirs will someday profit from this venture.
Also of note; the original head-mod & maker of post#1 , ddbetsmallwinsbig (still alive & kicking), is still invested in this venture (the last I heard), as-of a year or 2 ago

QDawg...just a thought or two on that:
*To your; "As I understand it, no American corporation can manufacture in China without a [significant] Chinese interest in the company.".....my understanding is the same as yours.
*To your; "If it happens on Chinese soil, well, the Chinese courts have a long history of siding with the thief." [as opposed to recourse in the US judicial system].....Sounds good on paper, but the reality is often much different...I would point to how, not one of the American Bankster's was held to account for the biggest financial fraud in world history.
*To your; "it's 50% of the profits from QMA.".....50% of something is better than a 100% of nothing & in respect to having a reactor in China, having manufacturing facilities near the OEM's (as-is common for tech suppliers worldwide) has been Steves' plan as far back as I can remember. Sure, piracy is a concern, but I'd reckon & hope that aspect has been well-considered, with precautions put into place. Yet, just like investing in this stock...there are no sure-things in life....except death, taxes & maybe a laugh or two along the way. JMO ;)

Toyota debuts e-Palette concept at CES:
https://newatlas.com/toyota-e-palette-concept-vehicle/52876/
*Interesting alternative concept to obsolete bricks-&-mortar businesses. Somewhat reminiscent of the traditional traveling village markets of Europe, except greatly expanded in product offerings. With this and beyond Amazon & EBay, maybe there's some hope left for small business afterall, and the days of the old fashioned door-to-door commerce in the US will have its renaissance once again ;)

*I can attest to this myself; I used to build houses in Palm Springs in the days before-&-after they added all those extra golf courses & there was a pronounced difference in survivability with the added humidity in the summer. In any case, it sounds like air conditioning & body cooling tech will be the big wave of the future.

True-that ;( It was nice while it lasted , back when like-minded investors could exchange findings & ideas for rational consumption & discussion...but alas; all good things must come to an end. That board is pretty much dead as far as I'm concerned. Seems like no shortage of creatures with less than honorable intentions running amuck, tearing at the very fabric of society & civilization these days....what-to-do what-to-do ?
