Higher lows and lower highs? Does this smell of wedge forming?
Normally when flirting doesnt help to "push past it" I just use this oneliner
"Does this smell like chloraphorm to you?"
damn my 'jokes' suck.
FYI havent added just yet. Waiting for the chart to tell me to.
Lol rebought .. this doesnt want to go down :D 1 cent scalp none the less.
Gotta love those profit taking idiots :) Saclp sold the top here and waiting to re-enter with 15% or so free shares.
Expect profit taking here.
That would have been current debt then.. but good call. Will dig into this. Thanks!
bragging is bad, but fun at times *grin* And im sure some here have at least double that number..
Hmm what does this "350% unrealised gain" in my long portfolio mean ?
WHEEEEEEEEEE!
We wouldnt need a direct new contract announcement. During the last month of the previous Q the contract was signed. So with all the work around it etc I doubt that we have seen the real extent of the contract benefits in current earnings. Upcoming quarter will reflect it better me thinks (will have to phone nxx's IR)
Regarding additional contracts. For the supervision scopes it seems unlikely especially for the us market. Since exclusive distribution rights belong to Aardvark.
They are debt free, will be profitable due to the contract.
weekly chart looks really good.
Gonna put some DD into the product type and find out what the mainstream alternatives are./
Market may be in for a downmove per weekly chart. SPY target of around the 95 area. With all this attention I am guessing we have looooads of weak hands in. Seems the guesses about volatility might become true.
A big part of my hold comes from scalping shares, not gonna risk doing more scalps as Mesa could swing both ways short term. I'm kinda hoping for a shakeout though. Too many people in the pool
Speaking of pools -- avoid the floating mars bar
Ok, gonna add 50k as of monday on the sole reason that the chart might lead to another spike. After understanding more about the company (wont be hard with all this DD down here :) ) more might be added.
just renewed subscription let the spamming begin!
Previous spikes were technical it seems
http://rt0.c.prorealtime.com/ProRealTimeNew/tmp/img_12504391625888.gif
Gonna grab a 50k lot to start off with as of monday me thinks. As it looks chartwise we sold off on a spike much like the others so in the near future 5 and 6 cents will be quite likely. This because we will get a new spike out off the top that just formed.
edit timeout .. sigh : updated post -==

Mesa campaigns to lure Virgin Airlines, may 18th
there are links to the left, one of those is that virgin is asking to fly from O'Hare airpoirt .. havent read it yet. Might be related
http://www.eturbonews.com/9328/mesa-campaigns-lure-virgin-airlines
May 18, 2009
The scramble to lure another airline to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport was thrust into high gear Friday as thousands of airport users and backers were urged to lobby a San Francisco-based carrier for service.
But the campaign to woo Virgin America, a rapidly-growing airline that plans to fly to 30 major airports by 2012, could evolve into a tug-of-war between the Mesa-based airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to land the low-cost carrier.
Virgin America's Adam Green, director of network planning, acknowledged Friday that Sky Harbor also has expressed an interest.
"We're always interested in bringing new air service to Phoenix and we've been talking to a number of airlines but I can't divulge what specific companies we have talked to," said Alisa Smith, Sky Harbor spokeswoman.
Gateway launched a bid after the airline expressed an interest in the Phoenix market, said John Barry, Gateway's marketing director.
If Gateway can land Virgin, it would be the second airline providing service to it. Allegiant Airlines already serves the airport.
Barry said he fired off e-mail messages to more than 5,000 airport customers and supporters on Gateway's database, urging them to contact Virgin America, in addition to asking the East Valley Partnership, a regional business group; the Mesa Chamber of Commerce and the five Southeast Valley communities that own and operate the airport, including Gilbert, to follow suit with names on their databases.
The Website of the Arizona Wing Civil Air Patrol's Willie Composite Squadron 304 at Gateway Airport also urged its viewers to support the move.
"PhxMesa Gateway needs your support," read a message covering most of the Website's home page. "Virgin America is considering scheduled air service to the Valley from San Francisco, California. We respectfully request your support in recommending Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport for this service."
Barry said he was overwhelmed by the response to his request for help.
"I hit everybody I could," he said. "It looks like Virgin America wants their feedback."
Abby Lunardini, director of Virgin America's corporate communications, said, "Phoenix is one of the cities on our list and we're hopeful that we can bring there eventually. But nothing is in the imminent future."
The Phoenix market was among 30 metropolitan areas identified by the carrier in August, 2007 when it launched service between San Francisco International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
Barry said he first talked to Virgin America in March during a meeting of airline and airport executives in Ft. Worth, Tex.
The airport marketing director said he also had discussions with executives of four other carriers about possible service to Gateway, but did not name the airlines.
Virgin America was cleared to begin flying less than two years ago as a carrier 25 percent owned by Richard Branson, a British billionaire industrialist.
Federal law bars foreign citizens from owning more than 25 percent of a U.S. airline or exercising operational control.
Branson's virtually world-wide Virgin brand includes Virgin Atlantic Airways and the Virgin Records music. He is the 236th richest person according to Forbes' 2008 list of billionaires.
Virgin America is an independent U.S. company, not a subsidiary of Virgin Group.

Aardvark, Xenonics sign exclusive deal
Published: July 30, 2009 at 12:19 PM
CARLSBAD, Calif., July 30 (UPI) -- Aardvark Tactical has signed an exclusive U.S. distribution agreement with Xenonics Holdings to expand the marketing of Xenonics' technologies.
U.S. company Xenonics announced the agreement with ATI will further expand the marketing of its NightHunter illumination technology and its SuperVision night-vision devices.
Under the deal, ATI becomes the exclusive distributor of Xenonics' illumination and night-vision products.
"This exclusive U.S. distribution agreement will allow us to leverage Aardvark's proven sales and marketing and distribution capabilities across the full range of Xenonics products, now and in the future," Alan Magerman, Xenonics chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"We believe this agreement marks the beginning of a significant expansion of our business with ATI."

XENONICS HOLDINGS, INC. (NYSE AMEX:XNN) today announced financial results for the third quarter of fiscal 2009, highlighted by a 13% increase in revenue to $2,132,000 compared to $1,892,000 for the third quarter of fiscal 2008. Gross profit increased 53% and gross margin rose to 46% of revenue from 34%, while selling, general and administrative expenses decreased 9%. As a result, the net loss for the third quarter of fiscal 2009 narrowed to $0.01 per share versus a net loss of $0.04 per share for the third quarter of fiscal 2008.
"Xenonics is transitioning to a new operating model built around the exclusive U.S. distribution agreement we signed last month with Aardvark Tactical, Inc. (ATI) for Xenonics' NightHunter high-intensity illumination systems and its SuperVision high-definition night vision devices, as well as expanded programs for international distribution. We believe the ATI agreement marks the beginning of a significant expansion of our business with Aardvark, and shows how we can leverage Aardvark's proven sales and marketing and distribution capabilities to grow our company," said Chairman Alan Magerman.
"With the ATI agreement now in place, we also have moved quickly to eliminate redundant in-house sales and marketing expenses. This is expected to reduce operating costs by approximately $1.5 million annually, beginning in the current quarter. We are convinced that Xenonics' future is brighter than ever. We currently expect improved top and bottom line performance in the fourth quarter versus prior year, and we believe the combination of Xenonics' best-in-class illumination and night vision products, ATI's professional and highly effective marketing capabilities, our expanded international distribution programs, and our substantially reduced cost structure is the right formula for long-term growth and profitability," Magerman said.
For the nine months ended June 30, 2009, revenue was $5,288,000 compared to $9,074,000 for the first nine months of fiscal 2008. This post is merely a scenario that might unfold.
So not a post to worry people or to spark wierd idea's
And I understand that the above line will worry the poo out of a few people :)
this is more a 'what if' situation.
We might be getting a shakeout first. Posted about volatility a number of times. But hey most of the longers here dont have to be warned, they rode the rollercoaster a number of times allready.
IF it happens it will be high volume
Certain mentally critical support lines will be pressed hard to trigger the stop losses. 1 reason why I dont use stops and another reason why using the text book static stops is financial suicide. If you do use stops go about it intelligently, dont use statuic values of percentages, include volatility. Above all .. BE PREPARED TO GET BACK IN IF IT DOES TRIGGER AND TURNS OUT TO BE AN EXPERT STOP OUT. I love capslock.
If it happens Im gonna laugh my ass off at all the "POS" "OMG MESA BK SUCKS!!1" posts by the clueless chasers. If it happens they will try to trigger capitulation where there will be a cascade of selling without price movement. Think about it as if someone is holding a basket below a tree to catch the fruit that drops down. Gotta love builing in at a discount.
There are forces meddling with this stock that are much greater than us. So we may be flung around like rags. Who cares. The movement of PRICE will not relate to VALUE. These 2 concepts are NOT linked in the absolute sense. Proof of that is simple: the current share price against the value. So when a stock moves up and down it does not per se reflect a modification in value or capacity of generating such value.
One of the reasons why I use 2 accounts for bigger plays. One for long term and one for scalping/trading. Two types account
that require two types of treatment.
Peers at the brink of BK are currently trading much higher than mesa.. go figure. Best of luck and see you at the dollar :D
Haha good to see most of the tension is gone here.
Got a headache as bad as the singing carreer of whitney houston from all the beer I drank last night.
MESA donna feel so good... *cough*
Why did they ever invent these stupid weekends, now we have to wait for more fun fun fun on the monday!
Next week might become wierd and super volatile. Volume is all over the place. Stock loaded with aloooot of new hands meaning that it will mimic the market more and more.
Market is acting up in strange ways.
Nothing to worry about. Mesa should not be compared to the market.
But damn is the bullish sentiment is off the charts on this one!
The breakout was also technical in nature fueled by the earnings. Check weekly chart .. the chart hedgies use.
I spy with my little eye a vacation beginning with hawaii :D
penny flippers dont know what they are wasting LOL! Hold looooong, this is not about 50% gains.. we are talking alot more.
Salutations to the peeps that longed this one. We did a fine job here! Good solid DD and patience. Congrats!
Looking a bit tired here, not risking scalp selling though. 25 is a biiig mental resistance. But only a mental one none the less. Will be taken out in time.
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Doesnt have to be, loss to small gain on a stock that trades at this price? Earnings alone imply prices alot higher. This was discussed weeks ago :)
watching or buying? You should have posted some dd to assist us earlier then :)
Juuuuuuuust hang in there. Volatility is a given at this point. That volatility doesnt change the underlying company. Keep anxiety both bullish and bearish out of the equation :)
Hello ton of people that werent here before :) It seems we grew in numbers
I couldnt tell you the time frame, sorry. Could be really fast, but I doubt that. Enjoy the volatility, scalp out free shares and let those sit.
Yerrr that is the kicker indeed :D We have a base.
Now lets wait for the seller to run out of shares. Price movement reminds me too much of the standard selloff pattern. I'm guessing less than 20million shares to go before yesterday so I have no clue what is left.
For the longers: just be patient this thing will be all over the place coming time. Get your barf bags out because this is gonna be a ride requiring a strong stomache (or however you spell that).
NEXT volume wave it seems. You are stupid if you sell. Think about this play. Think long and hard. Think about where it is now, why it is there, why the competition is higher and this is not.
Think about why funds are loading and how a company can have a 20 million cap on 1.3 BILLION rev.
Think long term.
I sold out my SCALPING hold earlier, but not touched my long hold.
This is BIG and this will STAY big for a long time to come.
Expect volatility because we have now forces in this stock that are much greater than us combined.
If you want to trade this then read back on a strat I posted about running 2 accounts.
If you sell out be smart and sell out only 80% or 90% .. keep a nice lot of shares in a dark place where you can forget about it.
mid term targets are 50 cents +
long term .. well .. what can i say ..
Time to let the penny flippers out. But NO WAY in heck that this thing is making a big down.
BTW a little secret: check the weekly chart. Brrrrreakout there as well!
"good" ? LOL!
