Pahrump Nevada. Not Vegas
Not thinking so. quarterly report says it is a company in Pahrump NV. xyience is in Vegas. I could be wrong.
Well, I emailed and asked what up with algae being grown at SA PBR
Good question. Not sure how much they will need for DVJ or what happens to the excess after that. I will email and ask.
They harvest constantly. see post 93814

"Any issues now would be from something else and they are issues that are solved very quickly with no harm to the PBR"
I would like to add with no harm to the environment either.
But if I had to take a wild, and I mean way off the wall guess, I would say.....http://www.procapslabs.com/PCL/Content/history.aspx
I would think its not completely up to DF. Whoever it may be might not want it publicly known. All in good time IMO.
see posts 93812 and 93814 for harvest info.
Once grown they harvest constantly. They keep the process moving seamlessly.
90% of it is extraced from fish that also contain other toxins such as mercury. Not to mention the fact that vegetarians and vegans will not take it if it came from a fish.

Once grown they constantly harvest.
This is a portion of a pr from June 29th
Company President Monique Berry stated today, "I am pleased to announce the following results as a major improvement to our PBR closed Loop systems tubing enhancements."
Ms. Berry stated, "Within a week of inoculating the commercial test PBR system at the Company's headquarters in Santa Ana, CA, the algae has grown and is thriving exceeding all projections and expectations. With the controlled exposure of the sun's rays, nutrients, water, temperature control and other elements, the company's closed-loop system created a perfect environment for the algae to grow at an enhanced level."

Currently the PBR hardware and components have been optimized and are requiring minimal maintenance and supervision. BioCentric lab technicians are monitoring the pH levels and recording the algae vital stats 24/7.
Although the Company has replaced the former plastic tubing with highly robust durable plastic tubing (warrantied for 2 years) BioCentric Energy is extremely confident in their PBR systems ability and IP to consistently grow mass quantities of algae in a sterile environment at surpassed levels offered by competitors. BioCentric Energy's Field Operations Director, Jose Sanchez, has been validating the algae production in the commercial demo PBR this past week and stated, "We have met and surpassed the commercial production rates for growing algae beyond all previous levels of expectation."

July 7, 2010 (FinancialWire) -- BioCentric Energy Holdings, Inc. (OTC: BEHL) said it has found significant algae growth in the company's closed loop photobioreactor systems after significant enhancements to the tubing materials.
Company president Monique Berry said she was pleased to see the results "as a major improvement to our PBR closed Loop systems tubing enhancements."
She said that within a week of inoculating the commercial test PBR system at the company's headquarters in Santa Ana, CA, the algae has grown and is thriving exceeding all projections and expectations. With the controlled exposure of the sun's rays, nutrients, water, temperature control and other elements, the company's closed-loop system created a perfect environment for the algae to grow at an enhanced level.
Currently the PBR hardware and components have been optimized and are requiring minimal maintenance and supervision. BioCentric lab technicians are monitoring the pH levels and recording the algae vital stats 24/7.
BioCentric Energy's secondary gravity-fed PBR system also located at the company's Santa Ana, CA headquarters is now operational and will be inoculated with a proprietary algae strain within the week. This PBR system will test the growth rates and nutrient requirements in a commercial environment.

Definitely need pr about sales. Can't wait for the pr that states "potential clients" become "satisfied customers". I hope they want to build a PBR that dwarfs the Great Wall!
DF sell your ass off!!
Very green indeed. Anyone know when they are going to harvest?
They replaced them after a significant leak. The more robust tubes also leak so they have a new seamless design in the works.
Lets have some fun. I replaced the word algae with the word money
Although the Company has replaced the former plastic tubing with highly robust durable plastic tubing (warrantied for 2 years) BioCentric Energy is extremely confident in their PBR systems ability and IP to consistently grow mass quantities of money in a sterile environment at surpassed levels offered by competitors. BioCentric Energy's Field Operations Director, Jose Sanchez, has been validating the money production in the commercial demo PBR this past week and stated, "We have met and surpassed the commercial production rates for growing money beyond all previous levels of expectation."
That's not a flaw. We are all capitalists. Well, all exept the bashers, which I equate to the black hooded sweatshirt wearing goons that riot at the g20 summits.
SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwire - 04/06/10) - BioCentric Energy Holdings, Inc. (Pinksheets:BEHL - News) -- Effective as of April 2nd, 2010 Dr. Brian Goodall assumed the position of CEO of BioCentric Energy in place of Dennis Fisher who will remain active with the Company as Chairman of the Board and Executive VP of Business Development.
thats only 80 days!!
Well, they could either use algae to filter the water before it goes into the tubes. Or, maybe find a way to engineer algae that is resistant to absorbing impurities. one way or another I'm sure they will figure/have figured it out.

Looking good!
I guess he doesn't want to move to Utah!
I would be more concerned about nearby buildings coming down on it. Can't imagine what the premiums are in So Cal for earthquake insurance.
Utah has earthquakes too. check post 91559. do the side by side comparison on Santa Ana vs. St. George. Both get earthquakes. Utah kicks Cali's ass in sunshine!!And yes, Santa Ana kicks everyones but in earthquakes
Was just screwing around....
for comparison

I would say it is definitely a cost saving measure. My first thought was they would keep Santa Ana and its employee's and hire new people in Utah.
