Who is the "me" in the "Allow me to introduce you to a new company" on this Ihub page for GTRQ? Assuming it's Gregg? Who else would have the materials displayed here to create the site?
Thanks Allworld. This helps. Hope it's still active in the pipeline. The company is simply not as attractive w/o it.
I've lost track (no pun intended) - where are we with this patent? Before the Itraq news, the patent for the exclusive technology was the only thing that attracted me to invest here. Anyone have timelines?
How about it. I come to this IHUB thing for help. It's suggested to read the S-1 to find answers, which is cool, but the S-1 states manufacturers are "contractors" and doesn't list specific companies that make their products. Weird part is I see pics of the products way before the S-1 last November. This goes back a year when I got in under MBYL symbol. I guess we have to keep digging for answers if we can't find it in this forum. What is the big deal about not sharing information. Are there any investors here on IHUB that did not find out about GTRQ from the internet? I suspect everyone here would not know this company even exists without the web. Ah...the world of penny stocks.
I guess I'm asking how does GTRQ have the technology?
Ok, he's an entrepreneur & inventor. Who designs and engineers this company's "world's first and only" technology? Does anyone know who manufactures the devices GTRQ plans to sell?
Is Gregg Sullivan an engineer?
There’s no guarantee the S1 will be filed. Like you, I am optimistic about this company with no revenues and no tangible products. What are these pictures on this I-Hub page? Those are products they manufacture? “Geo Traq is the only company in the world that specializes exclusively on Cell – ID technology?” What a load of crap. How would anyone verify that? “Geo Traq is working directly with the world’s largest cellular carriers to introduce Cell – ID hardware solutions?” What? Like GTRQ has teams of engineers to design hardware? How many employees do they have? To introduce hardware means it’s already been designed and manufactured? By who? GTRQ? How would we verify that or anything else? This company is nothing more than a website, I-Hub readers and posters. There are no documented milestones for this company. We’ve been duped. Hope I'm wrong. Another painful gamble in pennyland for me...
I like this Bluetrue, can't argue with it.
Same here. There's no buzz, nor can there be one unless new from company.
The only thing I know that's going on for sure is that I feel duped by investing in this stock. Nevertheless, I agree...the only way this stock climbs is with the S1 and a PR.
Yes today, without question. I'm not betting you or selling my position.
Are you going to sell when we don't hear anything from the company? I mean it's pennyland. Hype generated in I-hub, some phantom expectation or date floating out there and the day never comes. Hope you're right about August having some sort of meaning. When I first bought in 6 months ago or so the hype was June for S1 I think. Now August. Next December? Or 2015? This is the last stock I buy based on a breakout board on I-Hub. This company has no product or sales, just an idea with potential...oh and a pending patent that amazingly no other company or person on Earth though of first??? If I'm wrong about this jaded investment of mine...I'll be rich when it pops.
What is the significance of the end of August?
The S1 andl patents are everything. This company fades away without a PR. Potential is our only hope. I can't think of any other form of upside here.
I may have missed, is the estimate based on something the company said? I do recall folks here making estimates based on historical time it took for S1 to process. I've lost track where we are.
I don't know much about anything...but I do know that sinking feeling when I've been duped. Hope you're right. Hope the hunch I had 6 months ago is right too. Good luck to us.
Agree. Wish I had waited to get in. It's pennyland, typical to hype and then wait for some big PR or special milestone that never comes. I learned what bag holder means with my last venture into pennyland. I'll never learn. Bottom line, these amazing finds only exist on the web. Visions of getting in on the ground floor fester here...
Does anyone know about this stock if IHUB doesn't exist? If you didn't find out about it here...where did you?
Agree, would lose huge value...essentially all of it, right? How would it generate revenue without the patents?
All the upside is with the patents. If that potential did not exist, I would not be an investor here. Hoping to see a PR this year or next. Slowly building my position. Risk is huge, but worth the gamble in my opinion. Good luck to you/me.
Without the patent approval, this company is nothing, right? Doors will close?
Ok, I get the patenting of the applications, but this company is the first to figure out the potential? Why didn't the company or companies that designed the technology or systems patent the application of the technology?
What does this company actually do? From what I gather, they don't design or engineer systems. The technology has been around from the early 90's. Not real clear what they are patenting. The photos here are of what? They're marketing someone elses products? They have no sales right?
Gutless effort by Welwind leadership. Larry nowhere in sight. See my earlier post, "To learn how the former (or maybe current ceo, who knows) spends her time these days, check out her Twitter account or personal website. That's all you need to know how your welwind investment is going. Welwind is done folks. It failed"
She used to be the face of the company. Larry never was or will be.
I can't believe Welwind hit someone's radar to receive any bit of attention. A stock trades a million shares and some goof grabs an old yahoo business description. "Welwind Energy International Corp builds, owns, and operates wind farms in China. It has two wind projects in Guangdong Province, China. The company is headquartered in Maple Ridge, Canada." Are you kidding me. Builds, owns and operates wind farms? What a bunch of crap. Where did the author get this information? From when, 2009? Even then, Welwind didn't do any of those things. They've never done anything. You can't find an SEC filing in years to substantiate any of this crap. Can anyone name the two China projects cited? Good luck. Headquartered in Maple Ridge? Sure. Address, phone? I'll just check their website. Oh wait. Don't have one...anymore. To learn how the former (or maybe current ceo, who knows) spends her time these days, check out her Twitter account or personal website. That's all you need to know how your welwind investment is going. Welwind is done folks. It failed.
Grajee, good to see you're still monitoring this board. I haven't posted in over a year, but still look a few times a month for signs of life. Like you, I have been involved here way too long - i think I bought my first shares in '08. Seems so long ago and was the potential huge, right? Remember the hype? I still don't know wtf happened. I hope to see something, someday. I haven't heard from Larry lately. Tammy, I think, is completely out of the loop. She used to be the face and voice of all things Welwind. Check her out on Twitter and you'll see where she focuses her time now. It's the Larry show from here on out. The company hasn't had a PR or filed with SEC in years. Gone are the days of Tammy at the lead and Shannon as the right hand man. Remember the days of Rob Bragg as investor relation guy? Even if something pops, how do we restart the engine? I still think the company is legit, but McNabbs were duped, therefore I/we were duped. I'm only giving this 5 more years until I sell and take my loss.
Poster44ny, I think you need to put some context around Welwind's past. If you followed this company via conference calls and PR's back in 2007/2008 like most of us longs here, you'd realize - according to the Welwind management team - that we were very close to Zhanjiang PPA. I mean, llok at the damn volume back then relative to now. And, the pps was 20-fold. Take 4 hours or so and listen to the investor calls. I think it's reasonable to say we were close. To go from all that hype to ZERO is sad. Nothing to do with 4 years to get it going. Listen to what they said. It was all but finalized. Now they have nothing to say. You think they are still actively devloping? Or did this whole damn thing just fall through and mum is the word?
Maybe I'll double my position? One day doesn't make a trend, but at this point...nah, not spending another dime until PR, news, etc. As I dollar cost averaged on the downturn for the better part of 4 years with Welwind, lesson learned! No more buying. Wont sell until I hear something. Sadly, at that point, would probably increase my damn position. Hope to have that choice someday.
Never my friend. Feel liked I've been duped with a capital F!
I hear you. I thought I was a legitimate investor. No? This whole Pink Sheets thing, do they have to file? Ever? I don't remember who, what, why, when where, but WWEI fell into a bucket along with several other former .OB stocks and turned Pink Sheets overnight. Live and learn. You're dead on. At the end of the day, how can this trainwreck possibly be attractive to anyone.
You like that? I though it was funny too.
Not being a smart ass, but can Larry prove it? Can anyone? That's the million dollar question (or if the Zhanjiang PPA hits, the $200 million question). I don't know if the company is alive and functioning.
In 2011 alone:
SEC filings = no
Investor calls = no
PR's = no
It's weird how 3-4 years ago, some (including me) wondered if the company was real. Some feared it was a scam, right? Tammy was the voice of the company and Shannon was front and center too. Never heard much from Larry back then. And if you did, Louis the lawyer was right there to protect. The PPA was sooo close but xyz prevented it from going through. Now it seems all these years later, Tammy is real quiet, Shannon is gone entirely and Larry is the frontman. The real weird part is all this lack of communication somehow validates the company is real. I truly believe the company at one point was/is real. It's just run by people who have nothing to report and choose not to report they have nothing to report. So back to the question, is the company still operational?
Hey Capo, good to see you're still out there. You've been around longer than me, that's for sure. You were trying to sell??? Not me. Better days are coming...since 2008!
Museman, my dear old friend. It's like you read my mind and post my thoughts. Good insight here. Agree. Sahannon gone. Tammy, well we have no idea if she's still involved in daily operations. Wait. Daily operations? Silly me. Larry, looks like more coal in his stocking. Might be another uncomfortable Xmas dinner.
Always good to hear from you, sir. Don't call me too generous again. It makes me think you think I have postive things to say about Welwind.
This management team can't attract personal investors. How in the world would they attract institutional investors? The silence doesn't mean anything? Really?
dharmbum, you and I are in agreement here. I, however haven't lost a dime yet. Ha. It's only a paper loss until I sell. Hopefully within the next decade something will happen here. Maybe Larry will announce something by then? Nothing says he has to, right? But, I'm only going to wait 10 more years. No more. We'll maybe 15.
Being sarcastic, but point is no PR in over a year. No communication from these people. None. So how long is long enough to determine the company is done and doors have closed? Do they have to announce it's over if it is? Is that legally required? It appears they don't have to say they're still alive either. So we wait. And wait. I can't figure out if total lack of communication is smart or gutless. Either way, pps is in the toilet...but hey, it's only a paper loss. Makes me feel better.
Thanks. I'm only interested in publicly traded companies whose shares are available to trade. I prefer to buy low and sell high. Not buy high, watch pps sink, have no communication from management, then "go dark". I prefer simple. I get all the crap associated with risky investments, pinks, OTB. As a stakeholder, I'd obviuosly like to see Welwind succeed.
poster44ny, I don't know this. That's why the next sentence said "or at least they haven't communicated anything to the shareholders." Do you have an investment in wwei? How long have you been following this company? I don't know crap about institutional investing or banking or reverse splits or shells ripe for taking. But I do know this management team has not communicated anything to investors in over a year.
Museman! Always good to hear from you. Right on. Thankful for IHUB too. By the way way, I'm not selling either.
