i also think that tommorrow will be a great day for a pr. so, come on whitney; give it to us, and give it to us good.

[actuly im more hopeful then a believer]. if ipwg does bomb out after the shares holders meeting, i also hope i can get out with not much of a loss............glta ipwg holders.
two months ago, it was a miracle if 5 million shares traded. now you get 20,50,even over 100 million shares traded daily. where is all this selling coming from?
i have several theories:
a) short selling - but who in their right mind would short a .0035 stock, with rumored extremely positive news pending? and if there was shorting, would have thought they would have let it run to higher pps, then short. plus, if it is shorting, they are short hundreds of millions of shares, and haven't knocked the pps down.
b) rumored that a lender from a year or two ago, was paid with stock (thus the need for the shelf offering) - $800,000 worth. this makes the most sense to me, since this group could just want out, and doesn't care about working the price.
c) market maker manipulation - every day there is a larger than usual volume, and especially selling into the close, a large block or two pops up after hours. now we know these blocks are market makers balancing the books - several "t" trades have shown up. this would explain why the price doesn't go up (or down).
d) theories b) & c) together. if this seller has given his shares to the market maker to sell - or thru a middle man then the market maker - would explain the "t" trades at the end. if the market maker knows he has a certain amount of shares to sell over a period of time, and the seller told him to get a certain price (let's say .0036 or lower - which is where almost all the after hour trades sell at), then the market maker can let the stock run to .0040, and sell into it, and then at the end of the day bring it back to .0035, and balance the books with the lenders shares.
anyone else have any ideas where all this recent selling volume is coming from?
now the good news is 1) sooner or later the lenders shares will run out, 2) someone is buying all these shares (rumors indicate that some of this buying could be coming from europe)
save the gas. from what i read , " the deal was extended for ipwg to get the financing but no ground has been broken yet".

International Power Group to Develop Polish Waste-to-Energy Conversion Plant
GALWAY, IRELAND--September 24, 2009--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--International Power Group Limited (OTC:IPWG) (IPWG) (Celebration, Florida), a leading recycling-technology solutions provider, is set to embark on a joint venture project in Poland, aimed at generating energy from waste material. The project, which will be developed in Radom, Poland, will be undertaken by IPWG's Waste-to-Energy development section. A memorandum of understanding to this effect was signed with select Polish residents, who will be representing IPWG in local dealings, including items such as land acquisition and government authorizations associated with the venture.
IPWG will oversee the execution of the Radom waste-to-energy project in addition to arranging the requisite funds for the venture. IPWG is currently in discussion with a potential financial partner based in Europe, and the deal is expected to be finalized in a month's time. Meanwhile, government authorities in Radom have expressed a commitment to provide about 19 hectares of land for the project.
The waste-to-energy plant will have the capacity to handle about 450 tons per day of solid waste and 50 tons per day of clinical or hospital waste from the neighboring municipal regions. However, process costs per ton of input vary based on the nature of the waste material, with costs for processing medical waste amounting to about $2,000 per ton and costs for processing solid waste amounting to roughly $65 per ton. The income generated through the sale of power produced from the venture is expected to average $0.135 (0.09 euro) per kilowatt (kW).
Established in 2004, IPWG enjoys a presence in Egypt and Mexico in addition to operations in Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the U.S. In September 2008, IPWG entered into a waste-to-energy joint venture with ForeverGreen Enterprises (FGE) (Ocean, New Jersey), a recycling firm involved in the production of methanol, green hydrogen and other feedstock used in alternate/synthetic fuel generation from waste material. IPWG, which holds a stake of 25% in the project, and FGE planned to set up a 750-ton plant on a 60-acre area in La Fontaine, Indiana, at a cost of $227 million. Although subsequently put on hold, if the Lafontaine facility is constructed, the facility will employ patented technology from IPWG--the Add-Power Waste-Heat-to-Energy platform--in addition to the Progressive Molecular Dissociation platform developed by FGE to process a mix of medical, industrial and chemical refuse.
The deal with FGE, which also covers other potential waste-to-energy projects within and outside the U.S., requires IPWG to make a capital investment of $11.5 million in addition to providing related technical and engineering services for waste-to-energy management.
Earlier this year, IPWG's Swedish branch entered into agreements in the United Kingdom with a view to market the company's patented Add-Power technology. In collaboration with Magnum Capital Partners (London, England), IPWG established a 20:80 joint venture company, Add-Power UK Limited. The joint venture, with the expertise of the U.K.-based New and Renewable Energy Centre, aims to commercialize the Add-Power technology by upgrading the existing 250-kW prototype to a 1-megawatt model.

Consumer prices up 3.4% in April
Publication date: 2009-05-28, category: , news
Consumer prices rose in April by 3.4% year on year, five percentage points more than in March, reported the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Consumer prices rose by 0.8% in April in comparison with March, following a 0.5% month-on-month rise in the previous month. Inflation has fluctuated between 0.5% (March) and 1.0% (February) in the first four months of the year. Last month’s inflation was driven by a 1.4% increase in the price of durables, a 2.9% increase in the price of vehicle fuels and a 1.9% increase in the price of pharmaceuticals.
The only category where a decline was observed is that of household energy, where prices fell by 0.2%.
On a year-on-year basis the biggest factor driving inflation was household energy, where a 11.3% increase was recorded. Spirits and tobacco, having experienced an increase of 5.5%, also contributed significantly.
Service prices also rose at an above-average of 3.9% year on year. Driving this was an 11% rise in the price charged for garbage collection, an 8.1% rise in the water rates and a 7.9% rise in the price of sewage services.

CELEBRATION, Fla., Sep 15, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- International Power Group, Ltd. (Pink Sheets:IPWG), a provider of waste-to-energy solutions, including waste-to-energy development and waste-to-energy technologies, announces today that, through its Waste-to-Energy ("WTE") Development division, it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding, ("MOU"), with certain individuals residing in Poland (the "Representatives") for the formation of a joint venture for the development of a WTE project in Radom, Poland, which is approximately two hours southeast of Warsaw. The Representatives will act as IPWG's exclusive liaison in Poland and are expected to assist in securing land and all approvals necessary for the operation of the WTE project. AddPower is IPWG’s proprietary patented low temperature turbine technology, which allows low temperature waste heat to be converted to electricity, at approximately 67% to 75% lower than high temperature systems. great article, and great reporting. your right about getting refridgerator size units. but think a little bit more , try selling microwave size units to the home owners, or mandatory installation for new homes being built in high risk areas. awesome potential world wide; if the technology can support makeing a smaller unit.
no pr's yet. i wonder when ipwg will give some kind of update as to what the sharesholders meeting will be about. i guess they will give some kind of pr what, right before the meeting. they love this wait and see game. "lets wait and see if the pps will go up with no news." then give a little, yet confussing pr. well i guess as for now, we will have to wait and see what happens.............
do you really think its going anywhere just because it has been patented. i hope so.

CORRECTION - Itronics Announces Auric Gold & Minerals, a SpecialPurpose Mining Company
Sep 3, 2009 14:37:11 (ET)
RENO, NV, Sep 03, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- In the news release, "Itronics Announces Auric Gold & Minerals, a Special Purpose Mining Company," issued earlier today by Itronics Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ITRO) (FRANKFURT: ITG) (BERLIN: ITG), we are advised by the company that the first sentence of the second paragraph should begin with "Itronics' wholly-owned subsidiary," followed by the original sentence "Whitney & Whitney has used its world-wide data base and its extensive mineral property library to identify an attractive mineral project in Nevada and agreed to help Auric Gold & Minerals acquire the project." The first sentence of the third paragraph should begin with the word "Auric's" rather than "The" as originally issued. Complete corrected text follows.
Itronics Announces Auric Gold & Minerals, a Special Purpose Mining Company
Itronics Strengthens Itself As "Green" Natural Resources Company
RENO, NV -- September 3, 2009 -- Itronics Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ITRO) (FRANKFURT: ITG) (BERLIN: ITG) reported today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Whitney & Whitney, Inc., is assisting the formation of Auric Gold & Minerals, Inc. (Auric), a special purpose company that will acquire multi-mineral (polymetallic) gold properties and strategically invest in junior gold and minerals companies that provide the opportunity to develop and commercialize environmentally friendly polymetallic gold projects.
Itronics' wholly-owned subsidiary, Whitney & Whitney has used its world-wide data base and its extensive mineral property library to identify an attractive mineral project in Nevada and agreed to help Auric Gold & Minerals acquire the project. For this, Whitney & Whitney, Inc. will be issued shares equal to 83 percent initial ownership in the new company. Whitney & Whitney, Inc. has also agreed to enter into a management services agreement to facilitate the start up and operation of the new company.
Auric's funding plan is to privately place shares in the new company with qualified investors to provide start up capital. The company is private, but may elect to go public in two to three years to provide measured share value and liquidity for its investors. Using this approach avoids dilution of Itronics shareholders.
"Assisting with the formation and activation of Auric at this time is a sound business decision," said Dr. John Whitney, Itronics President. "The Whitney & Whitney analysis indicates that there is a rapidly expanding move world-wide to invest in and acquire mineral resource assets. Large investments are now flowing into the minerals sector, especially to acquire resources as 'hard assets' in the ground. From an investment view this is very timely and will make Itronics more attractive to investors by strengthening its position as a 'green' resource company. Direct private investment by qualified investors, including Itronics shareholders, in Auric will also be possible."
Itronics is continuing its business development by using its demonstrated environmental and mining clean technology skills to implement its eight part, five-year business plan that was summarized in a press release on June 3, 2005. In doing so it is becoming an "environmentally green" natural resource company. The move into mineral project development was announced in a press release dated September 25, 2007.

Safety Product Company Sees Increased Online Sales Resulting from H1N1 Flu
Kidz-Med Thermofocus 5-in-1 Non-Contact Thermometer in Demand
WESTON, Fla., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Given the World Health Organization (WHO) has just raised the novel influenza A/swine flu pandemic alert to phase 6, its highest pandemic warning level, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that even though U.S. influenza surveillance systems show a decrease in flu activity, outbreaks are ongoing in various parts of the nation, in some cases intensely.
Kidz-Med Inc., a subsidiary of American Scientific Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ASFX) and leading child health and safety product supplier in the US, sees the effects that the flu is having on the nation by experiencing a drastic increase in online sales, namely on the Kidz-Med Thermofocus 5-in-1 Non-Contact Thermometer, from April 1, 2009 through May 15, 2009.
Kidz-Med has fielded an increase in inquiries about its Kidz-Med Thermofocus 5-in-1 from various entities who are preparing to check adults and children for fevers that could possibly result from this current flu outbreak.
The Company's CEO, and pediatric clinician, Dr. Christopher F. Tirotta reacts by saying, "In our history, we have never received $30,000 in online revenue within a month and a half. We attribute our PR, social media and SEO/SEM tactics to enabling people to find us as a go-to resource, and are ecstatic that our products can help during a time when our nation needs it most."
He continues, "Since the pandemic level has been raised, we are expecting to see an increase in customer inquiries and potentially sales."

8/31/09 - American Scientific Resources To Be Exclusive Seller of World's Only FDA Approved Home Needle Destruction Device
2009 AUG 31 - (NewsRx.com) In keeping with its mission to provide unique products that greatly benefit the wellbeing of families, American Scientific Resources (the Company) (Pink Sheets: ASFX), announced it has obtained from Safeguard Medical Technologies, LLC exclusive worldwide rights to sell and market home Needle Destruction Devices (NDD) known as the Disintegrator? and the Disintegrator Plus? (see also American Scientific Resources, Inc.).
All current and future sales and contracts worldwide have been granted to the Company.
Currently the only NDD approved for home use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Disintegrator enables patients who need to give themselves injections to properly and safely dispose of their used needles at home. The Disintegrator utilizes a unique plasma arc to melt the needle at a temperature of over 3000 degrees Fahrenheit (ensuring the elimination of any pathogens), reducing it to a small bb-shaped ball. It uses patented technology that gives it distinct advantages over similar devices.
"We are quite pleased to have acquired exclusivity on such an innovative product as the Disintegrator," stated Dr. Christopher F. Tirotta, CEO of American Scientific Resources, Inc. "Potential worldwide sales look most encouraging."
The Disintegrator has enormous potential to become a world leader in its market. For example, multiple sclerosis, diabetes and HIV Patients may require daily injections; this device will ensure that their syringes do not end up harming anyone from family members to waste haulers.
A congressional bill (S, 1312) is pending which would amend Title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for coverage of supplies associated with the injection of insulin, of containment, removal, decontamination, and disposal of home-generated needles, and syringes, through a sharps container, or decontamination/destruction device under part D of the Medicare program.
The Disintegrator is already gaining a warm reception from the market. In March 2009, Safeguard delivered 5000 units to one of the world's largest healthcare enterprises. Since then, that global enterprise has placed an additional order for 2000 Disintegrator units (which American Scientific Resources will fulfill) and a competing healthcare enterprise has expressed interest to procure an even larger supply than the combined orders above.
Additionally, according to Safeguard, the first enterprise has a specialty injection drug that is one of the top selling drugs in their line up. Eventually they would like to have a Disintegrator in every such user's home in the EU within 3 years; that translates to over 200,000 units; there are approximately 2 million specialty injection drug users worldwide. With health care transitioning into the home from the facility, ASFX sees the device as a global leader in Needle Disposal Technology.
The Company plans to introduce the product commercially in the fall of 2009. The private label, proprietary models being marketed to the large healthcare enterprises will be sold for upwards of $120. The Disintegrator is EPA recommended.
