Is CPRK starting to make real COPPER? WWWAAAAHHHOOOOO! Lets break the bank and make some money!
Sorry to hear that Richard. I was pulling for you!
FSS,
You seem confident with your statement. JP will settle? How do you know this?
How, by badgering him and the company? Will he not just ignore us more if all he gets is negativity? I have never read a post from Dotson, not once except maybe in a news release but he won't ever respond to the "vinegar" he now smells but "honey" (respect and kindness) may help. I respectful ask you to E mail him directly. That way it can have a more direct and profound effect. Right now tho, we hear you ranting in such a way, it is destructive in nature.
ABIGHAMMER,
I have read your comments for quite along time and you bring up some good DD that needs answers to. You also ask alot of questions directed at Datson (CEO) on this board but he will never answer you here nor does he read these comments so what exactly are you trying to prove? The board would listen to you more if you kept it to facts without such anger and attitude. We all are frustrated and want a fair return on CPKR but please... stop, but if you can't then I will (along with others) just skip over your messages just to avoid you and what will be your point then?
Trying to be Respectful,
Jimmy
Someone said that JPM hired alot of the employees from WAMU. Do you think JPM may have contracts with these employees that keep them from testifying against there new employer? Kinda of keeping them silent and while not biting the hand that feeds them. Just a thought that came to my un-educated mind. Can someone elaborate and comment on this? Thanks!
How do you know this about there production? Is there a link that tells us this or do you know someone working at the company? I get very curious when statements are made without facts. Please, I mean no disrespect just trying to keep facts straight and the loose talk to a minimum.
That was AWESOME!!!! Spot on!
What keeps JpM from dragging there feet. They have WAMU at this point and the money. The longer it drags out, the longer they have the money to use in there business. Please explain this to me because I am very naive to all of this. Tell me I am wrong.
Obi, These charts, are they stock picks recommendations? I am always looking for great picks. I do get emails from different companies that give picks but they are ALWAYS late, meaning they have already seen there spike up. How does one get into the ground floor of a penny stock pick before its run up? What does one look for in a chart to indicate a great pick? Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I know what you say is just an opinion.
What do you think the range will be ? 4-5?
Very well said! Its all in the details!
I do believe you are hitting this on the head. Your point shows credible option as to how things could play out. I hope the truth comes out. The American people need justice and credibility in our financial system.
Lawrence 14, That statement is strong in nature and very well articulated. My hope as well as others who have invested in WAMU will be indemnified in full. Now we wait for the legal teams to hash out an agreement that is acceptable to all involved.
Just being part of this reminds me of all the Grisham books I have read over the years. This may be a best seller if all works out well. Just think of the implications and how other financial institutions have been taken over the years. Jury trial would be fantastic!!
NEW YORK, June 24 (Reuters) - A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Wednesday maintained control over a dispute between the failed thrift Washington Mutual Inc (WAMUQ:$0.1010,$-0.0139,-12.10%) and JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM:$33.46,00$-0.11,00-0.33%) over billions of dollars of deposits.
Judge Mary Walrath also ruled that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp, which is the receiver for Washington Mutual, may intervene in the case.
The judge noted a public interest in how deposits are disbursed, citing the FDIC's responsibilities under a federal law passed in the wake of the 1980s savings and loan crisis.
She rejected an argument by Washington Mutual lawyer Michael Carlinsky that the FDIC no longer had an interest in the case after selling the thrift's bank operations to JPMorgan. He said allowing intervention could cause "months and months and months of additional delay," hurting creditors.
Last Sept. 25, the FDIC seized the banking operations of Seattle-based Washington Mutual and immediately sold them to JPMorgan for $1.9 billion. The thrift's holding company filed for bankruptcy protection the next day. Washington Mutual remains by far the largest U.S. banking company to fail.
The holding company subsequently filed separate lawsuits. It sued the FDIC, contending that the $1.9 billion sale price was too low, and seeking more than $13 billion of damages. It also sued JPMorgan, claiming that the bank wrongfully withheld more than $4 billion of cash from the bankruptcy estate, and which it believes should be available for creditors.
Walrath concluded she has exclusive jurisdiction to decide what belongs to the estate, and rejected requests to put two of the adversary proceedings on hold or transfer the disputes to the Washington, D.C., federal district court where Washington Mutual sued the FDIC, the Associated Press said.
The main bankruptcy case is In re Washington Mutual Inc, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Delaware (Wilmington), No. 08-12229. The lawsuit against the FDIC is Washington Mutual Inc v. Federal Deposit Insurance Corp, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, No. 09-00533. (Reporting by Jonathan Stempel)
I also sent the letter.
I wish that was the case!! Go WAMUQ!
Where did you get your figures xDREWx?
good call on the close!
All Wamu shareholders, send the letter immediately. The attorneys need them. See the news on this board. It explains what, where, why.
"This stock is gone", as in going higher? Please clarify, thank you.
Who do you get stock alerts from? I am just getting my alert today on DUSS. It seems my alerts for the most part are always late to the game.
OWVI is a small version of Walmart, wouldn't you agree? So why would we re-invent the wheel? If anyone has good info why I should buy this, please share. Always looking for a good stock.
How about AutoZone. Home Depot,Lowes, ect... Maybe have the hooter girls do some marketing!!! Remember the wopper commercial and the blonde? That was good for BK.
Just need help understanding the term" days to cover" when a stock is covered. Is it better to buy before the cover date? To most this question is very simple but I am a novice.
Thanks Candy B. for the updates.
Anyone a buyer? Bounce?
I have the common shares of WAMUQ. In your opinion, should these be sold or add to the position? I was informed by others that the judgment may pay us but I am doubting this position.
I am a newby to the Q. Any good picks for next week?
