Try running it all the way to make a payment... DOA
Link doesn't work...and nothing on the Ill child support website...
Keep wishing on that star....
You really need to read the suit and see who is involved and why...if the charging parties prevail...then it's 1.6 mil x 3...I'm betting they settle sometime this spring to save $$$ in legal fees to make this go away...So Stan...where are the getting the $$$$ to fight this?? And if they lose???? Note: To file a RICO suit..there has to be merit to it...otherwise the attorney(s) filing can be liable for costs.. As for the price staying where it's at..no one really wants to buy and those holding are hoping/praying something will change to breath life into this POS to get out with something......
Yes...they don't have squat to pay anyone...and what Muni or Court will touch them with a racketeering suit against them...now that's funny....can't wait til the media gets ahold of this..oh yeah and as you say...the bottom is in..."not":)
No idea on price..other than based on what they sold no way would be close to that number...as far as the Civil suit...where do you think they will get the $$$$$$ to pay for it..
No way did they even get close to 12 mil....also the civil suit will break them...and I doubt the bottom is in on this POS....
He's referring to William Yotty..
I'm sure it will be settled before trial...can't imagine they would try run this all the way out to a Jury trial...
I'm sure Ron and the others will just pull 1.6 mil+ out their piggy banks:)
Here's what's new: RICO Civil Suit is still moving forward...also class action suit out of Florida for the release card...
Can a plaintiff bring a civil RICO claim against a defendant even if the defendant did not commit any crime?
Every RICO claim must be based on a criminal violation or, as the statute states, an “act of racketeering.” “Acts of racketeering” are all serious crimes and are listed in section 1961(1) of the RICO Act. A civil plaintiff must not only prove that the defendant engaged in acts if racketeering, but must also prove that these acts constituted a “pattern” and must prove all of the other elements of a civil RICO claim. The burden of proof that must be sustained by a civil plaintiff is, however, less onerous than the burden imposed upon criminal prosecutors. A civil plaintiff need only convince a jury by a preponderance of evidence that the defendant committed the acts of racketeering; whereas, a criminal prosecutor must establish the acts of racketeering beyond the reasonable doubt of the jury. The other difference between a civil and criminal RICO claim is the resulting penalties. If a plaintiff succeeds in establishing a civil RICO claim, he or she will be awarded monetary damages, in particular three times the actual damages established at trial plus the plaintiff’s attorneys’ fees and costs. If a prosecutor establishes a criminal RICO claim, the defendant goes to jail. The greater burden of proof imposed upon a prosecutor arises from the fact that the end result of a successful criminal prosecution is the loss of the defendant’s liberty, not just his money.
Attorneys can also file a RICO Civil suit without going criminal...easier to prove civil vs criminal..and in this one they are asking 1.6 million in damages...so if the plaintifs prevail they get Treble damages (triple)... Yahooo...Civil is a much easier route....and before an attorney can file a RICO civil suit...they need to make sure it has merit as they can be fined by the Courts for bringing a frivolous RICO civil suit before the Courts...I also spoke to a County Civil Judge about this and he said that the majority of these zzz RICO civil suits settle prior to trial as the costs mount up quickly and if the defendant(s) lose...then triple the award plus attorney and court costs...Bam! You can also Google this as well...GLTA...
Can't quite believe you since you seem to know details that only an insider would know...
Why no I haven't, why don't you enlighten us since you seem to know...
And once again you are wrong...
All of my info has either come from this board or Internet DD...you should probably go back and read all post since Pacific Fin...good luck...
Sure..knock yourself out...why don't you start telling the truth instead of pumping this up for yourself...CT
Almost forgot...no PR's for over a yr...no audited Fins as stated "for years"...
Sure..just look at all the licensees/501 investors, leased kiosks, out sourced customer service, contracted IT.. R/S last year, mFunds not owned by Ez = hot mess...please let me know where I'm wrong...
Not a competitor...and I believe you mentioned Securus and licenses..
They won't even come close to being debit free unless they get way more than their current valuation...I'm betting Securus bailed because of the hot mess with several ez investors/licensees and didn't want to get tangled up in a legal Shxt storm...I'm sure they can still sell it to someone...but not anywhere close to what you are saying...jmho
For pennies on the dollar..you would be correct...
If it's soooooo great and generating millions and millions..why are they dumping it?
Then of course it's "not" bidding...just Ez trying to find someone to unload on..
Bidding??
I believe that it was mentioned that "this split" was some sort of signal that someone or somebody had taken over from Ez....
https://www.miottawa.org/InmateLookup/
Looks like an internal issue..not Securus buying and splitting it off.
So you do know exactly where they are..too bad you're still trying to pump...with what you know is true...
Just because the processed that many does not mean they are profitable...when you give it away and carry high overhead...you lose.
You might want to talk to some of their creditors....
I believe this was brought up earlier as to why they wanted out of this space...and if it was profitable...they wouldn't sell it off??
Nice of you to avoid the questions and deflect..and no...I doubt that any company would want to pay more than a few cents on the dollar for ez cards losing venture with Jails...Ez is getting rid of it for a reason..."losing $$$ and bleeding out"...I'm assuming the major Ez investors and creditors are getting a bit restless..so, let's see which way the ball bounces in the next few weeks...some company might be able to get this at a bargain price or it could bounce to $6.00 a share and get up listed ??...let's see who is closest to pinning the tail on the donkey.....
So you know this for sure? Are you involved in the negotiations? Are you one of the owners?
LoL...down 48% .. Securus must have bailed on the deal...can't wait to see if this falls apart...or goes to 6.00 a share ??
Wow...interesting no chatter today....something must be wrong as the cheering crowd went silent..
Once some news breaks..the Courts might not have the same lov they feel now....so giddy up Elle..time will tell...
I am betting on Ez selling off a portion of the Company...probably the Jails.( which puts $$ in their pockets and maybe even pay a fraction of what they own to investors (not share holders) and try getting into Courts and then "wash, rinse repeat"...giddy up.....
Let's see..contract ended less than a yr ago...so According to Elle "a long time ago" and let's see..didn't the Hodge Boys spend time in the Federal System..(don't believe they were consultants ) which was a long time ago so according to some "doesn't matter"...I would assume that when a few of their clients find out...they will get the boot...but then again, I'm certain someone will put the old positive spin on the info..all pretty funny...go GPSI :)
