Hello everyone, I am going to keep it to ALCD (dont want to be off topic) :). As disclosed, I own 40 K shares and have had some communication with Sylvain (CEO of ALCD) directly. I have also done extensive DD on the company and the CEO. I feel confident this company will be a phenom. I have also disclosed there were mutual associates between the CEO and myself. I have never received a penny or a penny stock for my posts, DD, recommendations, comments or defense of the company...I know it will pain all of you to hear this but this is my last public post and/or comments on ALCD. After some time relaxing and talking with the family I have come to a decision. I have been offered a position as of 6/4/09 with Alco as VP of Finance. I plan to accept this position only under the following conditions. I will be an unpaid corporate officer. I will maintain my current position in the stock and will only accept performance based stock awards only after the first 12 months are evaluated. I want to make it very clear; I did not need nor want employment. Now to all who wonder if my commitment and belief in the company is real. Also, to the person who asked if I was a pumper....
……….Hear is the answer.
I believe in this company enough to:
- Downgrade my 6 hrs. a day of trading at approx. $250 K annual profit for the last 2 years. I will be reduced to a few boring option plays each month.
- Give up the joy of walking my 6 yr old to school every morning.
- Tucking my kids in every night
- Take time away from my best friend in the world (my wife)
- Spend weeks on the road every quarter
- Meet with politicians, bankers and attorneys in places I am not so sure an old country boy belongs
- Learn some new languages....OH... btw Sylvain speaks 5 and English is not his first (the PR grammatical errors we were b!tching about....)
For what you ask????
- The Money? Well only if I can make a successful go of it but I have enough money, more will just take care on future generations.
- The fun? Yes I do think it will be another chapter of interest in my life
- The challenge? Yes of course it is a challenge and I thrive on it
- I hate to give up the freedom but have discussed it thoroughly with my wife and children...
(Maybe they are thrilled with the prospect of me not being home as much)
- The main reason is.......I know how this will turn out. I want to be a part of it. I believe in it..... It will make a difference in this world and make it safer for my children... I want my kids to be proud of their father and realize, just because they succeed does not mean they have to stop challenging themselves. I can no longer share my opinions of the company because they would now be considered more than opinions....I wish you all the best....I look forward to reading your rants about my performance or lack thereof. :) You are all welcome to chew my a$$ when you feel it is needed...I now work for you the shareholders and will do all in my power to be an asset to the company....Thank you
Thomas@Alco-Advanced.com (will be operational by Monday 6/8/09)
BTW I have a funny feeling there may be PR next week. (LAST POST)
thank you I agree Surf.
thats right he is making tons of money to upgrade a website travel to many places you wouldn't, all to get your pennies...it has nothing to do with an amazing business plan caught in a sh!t funding time...this is a company you would have never seen on the Pinks 5 years ago....you could not have ever bought a peice of something this great for this price. i wish you well and make sure you get your .05 or .04 on the way out....you will regret it... i wish you the best...
could not have said it better dizz....the day will come...829 what do you want to sell for???...I asked already in prior post....If you are that sure its a scam then you should be happy to get out with .05 or .04 of your money BTW how many shares do you have...I might buy them all....but you obviously are holding for something....what is it????
www.alco-advanced.com

Evening everyone.....Just got back on from the great Weekend. I hope everyone enjoyed the Memorial Day festivities and gave the respects to those honored.
To All re: the reasons for the focus on other countries.... Please read some of my former posts here, you will see why it is needed by these countries. There has been a law passed in the US stating that by 2012 countries importing goods to the US must provide 100% scanning of the containers they send to the US. If you notice the focus is on South America and probably other areas of the world desiring preferred trading status with the US. Getting this scanning ability will go a long way to achieve their goal. BTW who is it that we import the most products like produce, lumber, etc....I've already addressed this and done some DD for you so I won't repeat it for fear of being considered the "newbie" smarta$$. OK---call me what you will just a little DD I've done....Total increase in imports from all of Latin America from 1996 to 2007 +up 180.7% LAC(Latin America and the Caribbean). Colombia +up 118.6% (even in the 2006 to 2007 slowdown +up 1.1%) (Top % increases in LAC Brazil-190.9%, Venezuela--209.3%, Chile-291.3%, Peru-307.7%, Honduras-116.7%.)http://ftp.fas.org/sgp/crs/row/98-840.pdf Just a note Peru was paving the way to the preferred status achieved in late 2007 and implemented 02/09. Waiting to see the 2007-08 #'s. Should be down significantly but there is no ? about the overall trend. http://merln.ndu.edu/archivepdf/ARA/State/87628.pdf
I don’t really need the CEO's ear and neither does anyone else doing true DD.
Just a side note to the CEO (those of you who do have his ear)I would love to see in an Asian division but like everything else I'm sure China will get a pass on the 2012 legislation. Maybe down the road it would be worth the investment.
Basics: there must be a market preferable growing exponentially (CHECK); the product must be as good or better than what exists currently (most are inefficient, ineffective, non-existent)(CHECK); cost should be better than current options ?? (I don’t know the cost of other options 3 to 5% scanning in our Ports I guess; this could be VERY costly)(CHECK); doesn’t hurt to have government mandated use of the aforementioned product (CHECK). Sounds familiar.....or maybe it is just me...
:) Dizzle
No prob. As I got through my morning checklist I was happy to see I was the one. I actually got some lower as well. Man, very nice way to start the day. I guess my BB doesn’t work that well with OPT.Xpress. We will see where it goes from here. I posted earlier thinking I still didn't fill but obviously I did. Need to check my Sh!t before I complain about not getting my fill. If it is available at my point there will be more today. This is a steal at this price. All you that were here before me just wait it is coming. From what I read it has been a long hard road. The dynamic growth will soon blow you away. This shell and/or its history will not keep this stock or company from phenomenal growth. I look forward to a great next week. See you all then. I will be on BB so hopefully I will know what is happening. I will check in here for updates instead of my broker's site. Have a wonderful day and a great Memorial Day weekend. God bless our Troops, their families and all who have sacrificed for everything we enjoy in this great country.
yea nice volume.... I'm gettin in today, long weekends seem to bring news.
very strange i had an order from the time I asked what was the bid/ask. never got filled @ .06 then .06125 must have been empty buy the time I got to the table...i am just spoiled with high volume stocks. As long as you are reasonable with you bid you will get at least a partial.
thx....everyone.
thx.........strange.
options express doesnt show the bid ask. WTF :)
what is the current ask and and size available?
wow got to get this coffee down. Did I miss somethin maybe someone said and deleted. was it stox? as you see he and I were talking a few hrs ago...
Mahp,
what are you talking about?
I deleted my a$$hole post. Just gettin that piss and vinegar I mentioned earlier out of the system.
It's all my 16 yr olds fault she is driving me crazy.
They know everything..HMMMM!!! hey come to think of it.... you probably feel the same way towards me.... :) I try not to act that way....I'll be better tomorrow....I Hope.
I agree I am tired and being kind of an a$$. We will start fresh in the morning, if you are ok with that. Sorry... :) I'll be on around 4 AM PST.
Wish you well.......I'm just poking a little fun don't get all p!ssed.
Really, wow I just took the high road and gave you all kinds of respect. Interesting, just what are you trying to imply. I don’t control his response time but I was impressed as well. It might have something to do with the fact I actually appreciate his work and do not expect him to be my little news reporter. I also do not spend the day b!tching about his lack of bedside manner. Fishy HMMM!!! Maybe you can sell now since you are so well positioned and never lost a lot of money. I'm sure you had a stop loss in place when you bought so you did get emotionally involved and lose too much to get out. That’s right I’m sure you did because you made it very clear you are THAT dumb. I will shut my mouth like I promised in my more recent post.
Again, I was not trying to disrespect you. I was making a point. I appreciate your service to your country and would never try to belittle that. That is much tougher than anything I had to face in my life. You are the reason we get to have these free opinions and for that I thank you. You have my apologies because I obviously offended you. I was very frustrated with the statements regarding someone you did not adequately research. The CEO.
I have not owned a company for 21 years as I am only 35. I built one from the ground up in 5 years. Started it with a shovel in my hand and a strong back, sold it for a nice profit. I was full of myself and jumped into a construction firm where I needed a partner, big mistake. Needless to say this is where I acquired the talent of research before speaking/acting. Lost plenty (millions) and I admit I was dumb. No longer with a strong back I had to turn to finance. With what I had left over, I bought a struggling finance company, turned it around, rebuilt it and sold it for a fair profit in 4 years 2005. Not what I could have but it was fair and it was the individual’s passion to own it. Sometimes the profit isn’t the only thing. Looking back it was probably a good time to sell. HMMM!! Research.
Now I get to spend time with the kids and travel. Moving to the Caribbean next summer, when the 16 yr old is in college, if I survive that long or if she does :)
As I said before I have learned the hard way to rely on ME to do the research and that is what I do.
Yes you are correct I have only posted to this company because it is the one I see with the highest profit potential. I would not have been investing with the prior company "ASC or WHATEVER". I stumbled onto ALCD while researching the 3 to 5 year security plays. There will be major action in this sector over this time period. It is the right time for intelligent security based on prevention not reaction. With this premise I began to look. Unfortunately, you may be stuck with me a little while. Mark these posts ACLD will go up.
Actually, I deplore pumpers. You can find me on Google boards under anything to do with worldfunding. You will see I try to be thoughtful and respectful of everyone. I don’t always succeed because I am passionate about my positions and I am 35 so there is a little piss and vinegar left. I also speak my mind and appreciate a vigorous debate. I only recently began to post anywhere, it was very boring sitting here most of the day not talking to anyone. I'm sure you can tell I hate to discuss things. There are many opinions but only one truth. I admit I don’t always get it right but I'm batting over .650 :). I wish you the best and please accept my apology, sir. My pop(RIP)9 yrs NAVY and 20 yrs AIR FORCE would kick my a$$ if he knew I disrespected a member of our military. I will tone it down a little and offer what I have, take it or leave it. The new kid on the block needs to shut his mouth a little and show respect to the people who got here before him, I will do so.
All I ask is please give this CEO a chance I have done tireless hours of research and he is the real McCoy. ACLD is full of potential. Hold or increase you position it will pay off. Thank you for your response and I hope you will continue to respond if you think I am out of line or incorrect. I look forward to the future here in ACLD. It will be a good one.
Below is the personal response i received from Sylvain when I CC'd him on this post. Thought it might be of interest. I hope you don't mind Sylvain.

Nicely put Ski...Stox I would only like to know if you have ever owned a company, bought a company, done a RM, built anything, structured contracts, financed millions, made & lost & made millions, negotiated with multiple countries simultaneously, lived life out of a suitcase for years missed your kids growing up because you were building their future.....................I didn't think so. I am not trying to be an a$$ and I apologize if I offend but see..... I have done all of that for my families future. I had a fiduciary obligation to my shareholders but that is it. I did not have an obligation to feed them every piece of news that had little to no bearing on the company. I did not hold their hand when they decided the risk/reward was good for them. I made them a lot of money and they sat in front of their computer and did what you an I are doing now, while I worked my a** of to build a company. Now I just research them and provide my humble opinion as to my risk/reward assessment.(yes if I do a good job I make $$$$ if I do not I lose $$$$) That is up to me not chance or anyone else’s opinion, mine. Believe me my research has shown me this CEO is much like I was and has devoted his life to his passion. And much like me he really doesn't care that you need a PR every few days. Also don't speculate what you wouldn't allow your stock to do. That is up to the market. All you can do is build the company. I have spoken to many people through friends and acquaintances that have met with this man all over the world just a few days apart. I know he is actively caring out the only obligation he has to you (shareholders), to make the company as profitable as possible. Please review my other posts to see research I have done for you with verification links. Instead of whining and wanting the news handed to you, go get it. You obviously have a computer and most of the info is public knowledge. If that is all you get maybe you need to learn how to truly research a subject or company. I am sorry to rant but I have done the research and asked the questions that should be asked. I have provided a lot of that info right here on this site. If you will not read it then frankly you get out what you put in. I have been in the shoes of this CEO with my own company and worked hard to make it a success. Now I get to walk my youngest to school (she didn’t call me Daddy until she was 4, because I was gone most of the time)and I get to fight with my 16 yr old about her new car she just wrecked (I have custody but really only visitation from 12 to 15 same reason). I also get to defend hard working CEOs of the microcap stocks I research IF defense is in order. I call them like I see them, if you haven’t noticed. One parting thought is the fact you get to benefit from this CEOs hard work, my hard work and all the people you don’t even know making this company have the potential I have found. I hope you will put in a little effort as well so you can contribute in case I may have missed something. That way you can feel good when what I am telling you starts to happen and you are not whining; you are taking the credit for being the "penny stock picker of the year". In reality you fell into what you now consider a pile of shit and will come out smelling like NEW MONEY. Congrats not all of us were that lucky.
Almost forgot please review my statement in previous posts regarding my affiliation to the company……….There is none, other than I have a minuscule amount shares and am a buyer at my right price. I hope you are as well.
Again my apology if I offended you or any one else on this board. That is not my intention.

Thanks Don for your post. If not for you there would be no response to real research. HMMMMMM!!!
ALCD is about to be a real player in the world. We have an extremely loud silence from the traders in the stock. Investors are about to move in. Waiting to see my strike.
the buyers are between .06 and .08
Sorry don I didn't find any short blurbs :) I appreciate your post and I agree. It is ridiculous that we have let this slip from the headlines. I hope we get it back there soon. ALCD has the plan and the ability to implement it if given the opportunity. Did all of you know our Gov. Grants $360 million to the 50+/- ports in this country every year specifically for scanning and security? This has been the case for 8 years. The gov requires the port to be the principle applicant. The ports have no incentive to fund an ALCD program because they get the $$$$ and currently spend as they see fit. We still only scan 2% to 5% +/- of all containers entering our country. We have to bring this to public consciousness. All that is needed is for the Gov to allow companies to apply for the grants and/or public financing and verify the private sector s using the $$$$$ efficiently. They could not use it any more inefficiently than the ports have over the last 8 years of grant money waste.
Alco addresses major concerns from the Government....The meeting brief notes some challenges which ALCO (ALCD) addresses with its business structure. The service will make all arguments mute due to the efficiency in structure. They take the burden of efficiency from Government (which has never operated a program efficiently) and placed it where is should be in the private sector.
All containers coming into the US will be 100% scanned and secured as clear and clean prior to entry. By 2012
WHY BUY??? Answered in more than a one liner!!!!
First, I have not received one penny or one share of this company for what follows. Ownership is as follows 5/20/2009 3:50 AM): I have purchased only 1070 (partial fill @ .0645 -- 5/19/2009 @ 9:40:33 AM) shares and that was done after the press release yesterday. I was trying for 10500 but missed the jump. Although I am a businessman and enjoy making money as much as the rest of you I am driven to find companies with plans that will make this country safer and more productive as well as have international potential.
At least when there is a PR it isn't BS. I would rather have slow truthful releases with reasonable expectations than BS that causes eventual BK. ALCD is a great company w/ vision. They have an amazing niche service product that will become extremely desired when certain gov. regs are enforced. Some have wondered why the focus outside the US.
Take a look:
http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/PLAW-109publ347/pdf/PLAW-109publ347.pdf
This is good bathroom reading but it is the reason this company will thrive in the future. It requires all Ports to scan incoming containers.
Another meeting brief:
------------------------------------------------
June 12, 2008
Senate hearing on container scanning
More questions are surfacing about U.S. requirements that call for the physical scanning of 100% of all U.S. bound shipping containers. The World Customs Organization (WCO) has released the results of an independent study that said the requirement would mean would mean "pivotal and costly changes" and hopes to offer the U.S. positive counter-proposals that that would result in the 100% scanning legislation being repealed. Repeal could be tough to sell. A Senate subcommittee held a hearing yesterday on "Supply Chain Security: Secure Freight Initiative and the Implementation of 100 Percent Scanning." Subcommittee Chairman Senator Frank R. Lautenberg (D-N.J.) noted that after the 9/11 attacks, the federal government installed equipment to scan 100 percent of passengers and baggage boarding a plane and declared that "it should not take another attack on our country for the federal government to secure our ports." "To that end," he said, "Congress passed a law last year requiring by the year 2012 all shipping containers coming into our ports to be scanned for nuclear weapons and radiation before they reach our shores." He noted that Administration witnesses would testify that the July 2012 deadline will not be met and said the "administration's approach to securing our ports is unacceptable." "While the Administration gets the technology in place for one hundred percent scanning, we also need to find additional ways to increase security at our ports," said the Senator. He promised to "soon introduce legislation which will make real improvements to our port security programs and keep our economy and families safe." If repeal of the scan-every-box legislation may be a tough political sell, actually implementing it could be problematical to say the least. Read the testimony of yesterday's witnesses at the hearing and you'll understand why. They included Deputy Commissioner Jayson Ahern, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, who primarily addressed the Secure Freight Initiative (SFI), a pilot container scanning program at a small number of key foreign ports.
Commissioner Ahern testified that the SFI deployments in Honduras, the United Kingdom, and Pakistan "indicate that scanning U.S.-bound maritime containers is possible on a limited scale." "However," he continued, "SFI operations in these initial locations benefited from considerable host nation cooperation, low transshipment rates, and technology and infrastructure costs covered primarily by the United States Government--accommodating and supportive conditions that do not exist in all ports shipping to the United States." "Although DHS and DOE funded the initial phase of SFI deployments," said Commissioner Ahern, "the equipment, IT, and personnel costs associated with expanding the program to cover all U.S. bound traffic from the more than 700 different ports that ship to the United States--some significantly larger and more complex than any of the first three pilots--means that the benefit of immediate widespread deployments must be weighed against the Department's funding needs to address other homeland security priorities." The next witness may just have the longest job title of any in the administration. David Huizenga is Assistant Deputy Administrator, Office of International Material Protection and Cooperation, Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation, National Nuclear Security Administration, U.S. Department of Energy. He is involved with the Megaports Initiative. The goal of the Megaports Initiative is to scan as much container traffic at a port as possible for radiation (including imports, exports, and transshipments) regardless of destination. It's currently operational in 12 ports (including the three ports selected as pilots under the Department of Homeland Security's Secure Freight Initiative and as mandated by the 2006 SAFE Port Act). Mr. Huizunga said that in addition to the positive lessons learned from the SFI pilot ports, "there are still several challenges to implementing 100% scanning of all US-bound containers at overseas ports. We believe that scanning US-bound containers overseas is possible at some locations; however, scanning every US-bound container at a foreign port before it arrives in the United States presents significant operational, technical, cost, and diplomatic challenges." "A critical aspect to implementation of scanning initiatives," he stressed, "is host nation and terminal operator buy-in. I cannot underscore enough that SFI or Megaports Initiative implementation cannot be successful without the partnership of the host nation, port authority, terminal operators, and other key stakeholders at the port. We have been very successful where we have strong partnership with our host nation partners. Alternatively, we have had considerable implementation challenges where we have not." He said that and the Implementation of 100 Percent Scanning Senate Meantime, the legislation remains in place. The final witness was Mr. Stephen L. Caldwell, Director, Homeland Security and Justice Issues, U.S. Government Accountability Office, His testimony is now available as a GAO report, GAO has identified challenges in nine areas that are related to the continuation of the SFI pilot program and the longer-term 100 percent scanning requirement: Workforce planning: The SFI pilot program could generate an increased quantity of scan data. Therefore, more CBP officers will be required to review and analyze data for participating seaports. Host nation examination practices: The SAFE Port and 9/11 Acts require DHS to develop standards for the scanning systems, but CBP lacks information on host nation equipment and practices. Measuring performance: CBP has had difficulties defining performance measures for its container security programs; therefore, it will be difficult to assess if 100 percent scanning achieves increased security.
Resource responsibilities: Neither the SAFE Port Act nor the 9/11 Act specifies whether the United States would bear the costs of implementing 100 percent scanning. Logistics: Space constraints can require seaports to place scanning equipment miles from where cargo containers are stored and some containers are only available for scanning for a short period of time and may be difficult to access. Technology and infrastructure: Environmental conditions can damage equipment and cause delays, and infrastructure capacity and equipment compatibility have presented difficulties in the SFI pilot program. Use and ownership of data: Legislation specifies that scan data should be available to CBP officials, but the data are often generated and collected by foreign seaports and, in some cases, will require international agreements for transfer to CBP officials. Consistency with risk management: International partners state that 100 percent scanning is inconsistent with accepted risk management principles and diverts resources away from other security threats. Reciprocity and trade concerns: Foreign governments could call for reciprocity of 100 percent scanning, requiring the United States to scan cargo containers, and some view this requirement as a barrier to trade.
----------------------------------------------------
Summary:
All containers coming into the US will be 100% scanned and secured as clear and clean prior to entry. By 2012
----------------------------------------------------
Due to the economic crisis these directives have allowed deadline waivers. This will not continue to be the case. Below is a link to some hearings held in Washington. I found page 372 thru "where I fell asleep" (575+/-) very interesting.
http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CHRG-110hhrg11043032/pdf/CHRG-110hhrg11043032.pdf
There are more than 347 gov. documents addressing this issue. Below is the search for just one subject addressing this issue. They are lost in the dust of the economic crisis. I hope there is not another wake up call for the US to get these moving. When the US gets to the priority of protecting its ports and citizens this stock will never see south of $50.

I know I'm getting boring at this point but you can TALK all you like about a stock but this company has a plan of execution that will be in high demand as soon as this Economic crisis has subsided. Lets all pray it is not forced to be priority by another attack.
Everyone, talk gets nothing done. I bring real reasons this company will be a phenom. The documents provided should give you some idea of the need. Our gov. officials are hearing about it everyday from citizens like me. There has been a deaf ear for the last couple years. I, as well as a number of my friends have searched for a company that will take up our cause to secure our ports as well as shipments from foreign ports. We feel strongly we have found one, ALCO Advanced Technologies. Once again please understand as of 5/20/2009 3:50AM PST maybe 6:30AM PST, my ownership position in ALCD is the same as stated above. There have been no talks or discussion with the company to prompt this investment. I have received no monetary or other compensation for my research nor do I have any expectation to do so. I reiterate this is a company and a vision to which I am drawn. I will continue to do research and may post here in the future. As of now, I will be a buyer and a solid backer of ALCD.
P.S. I will probably post this on a couple of my discussions tomorrow. I believe this company will succeed and thrive in the near future. I am not pumping I am providing facts to back up my opinions.
Since I see the CEO keeps up with this board through SKI, I will wait until after open to post on other boards. I have not seen any direct responses on any other board. Hopefully he will like the info and give us another PR soon. I really like the fact he has not forgotten the basics of the business while he builds the prospects of the scanning. The contracts like he announced keep the American Lights (pun intended) on while pouring your soul into the bigger picture. I have been there many times and hit a few out of the park and sometimes into a double play. This company has tremendous potential and if you do your research on the CEO he has the credentials. There is Security and technology background as well as business building and intellectual property history. Of course there are the Small cap acquisitions growing into profitable business sales. Check for yourself.
I will see you all before $50 but will still be a backer even then. This is the future of the World’s Ports like it or not.
