I'll buy all the shares for .000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 and then hopefully sell them for .000000000000000000000000000000001 and make a real fortune.
Good day to all!

Not enough time
It would be interesting to know how many shares were actually locked up and how many were actively being traded.
What's flawed with the assumption that the 3B shares are held by stuck shareholders?
Is the 50 billion shares traded a real number?
I know you can have 1 billion shares get traded 50 times over to have a total of 50 billion shares traded in total, but 50 billion is a big number considering the number of shares held and not traded by the scammed.
It's those that held their shares that facilitated the scammers making their money.
Then shouldn't there have been overwhelming evidence that there was a major dump of unrestricted shares during the spring of 2009 to have shut this thing down right then and there?
Alien,
I think it's more that NSS is promoted by scam promoters who use NSS to get the scam victims to hold their shares in hope of the big payday. Without getting the victims to hold their shares during the dump the magnitude of the payday for the scam promoters would be greatly diminished.

Do a Google search on worthless stock or talk to your CPA if you have one. I just shared my situation with my CPA, provided him with my positions and the letter from the DTCC and he did the rest.
My CPA is preparing my 2010 amended tax return so I'll be getting back from both state and federal and I was able to offset gains from the sale of other stocks in 2011 plus take an additional $3k off my adjusted gross.
All without selling (which I can't do) or forfeiting a single share.
It's nice to have a little closure.

You can use the loss to offset any capital gains. Above and beyond that you can take $3,000 against your income on an annual basis until the loss is fully written off.
Bought mine in Walmart, CVS and XtraMart
Took my losses for 2011 and still hold the stock.
Correction... I have three remaining. Two in their original package and one loose.
I have two remaining. Purchased at three different locations in the Norwich area. Sponges were purchased at XtraMart in Jewett City, Walmart in Lisbon, and CVS in Montville. Pretty high concentration of stores for a little area.

Is it possible there are much bigger fish to fry than M&M?
3,000,000,000 to 1 reverse split
Sent all my information to my CPA. Because of the DTCC lock down and the inability to sell the shares, capital loss is taken based on current value (next to zero). If the DTCC lock down is ever lifted and the price ever comes back (doubt both scenarios ever happening), then the gain from current value is taken as a capital gain in the year the shares are sold.
You don't have to sell it to take the write off.
Does anyone know what percentage of the stock sales went through individuals like Myron Weiner vs. M&M?
Hopefully we'll see more than just probation's
Too bad Spongetech isn't as funny as Seinfeld.
Justice is served! 5 whole years of probation. Does this mean M&M will get 50 years of probation?
What are you talking about?
I thought there were rules against that?
I am amazed at all the time effort and energy put into talking about this dead stock.
Hey keep Santa out of this.
As a resident of Southeast Connecticut I will attest to that.
I think Pike new full well what he was doing.
Is Mosky an idiot or a great con man or both at the same time?
Those were the days
Proven Facts?
~!~ Unequivocally, ALL store product claims were completely false.
Read court documents about Mosky and Meathead placing product in the store somewhere and then buying it all back. There NEVER was a single product outside of NJ stores within practical walking distance to M&M and a store they can carry the display in so they can carry it right back out. How else do you think they and and the promoters got some pictures. It was ALL phony. M&M bought some old discarded crap sponge from some China flea market and the SCAM was born.
The silly thing is people do every day. Applying logic and rational thought to what the American consumer will pay for is not the easiest thing to do.
