You think this POS will clear 15-20b next year? They will be lucky to break even.
It's ready to explode. Possibly before today is over.
This stock traps bulls. I hope the most recent example of this is proof of how big a POS this thing is.
Half of their PRs are about giving away money they don't have! Where do they get the money?
BREAKOUT IMMINENT
Getting ready to break down again. Bulls who bought in the $1.80s are trapped.
Stop loss raid. It's ready to bounce hard.
Give it time to shake a few more out.
Exactly. I told them it was a bull trap. The action on this has repeatedly trapped people who get pulled into thinking "this is the bounce." With RAD, the bounce never comes. Dilution killed it, and continues to do so.
Not sure I understand. Over half of today's sales were a bet against it going higher, so it looks to me like they are still shorting the heck out of it. They know it's going lower.
One person says no one can control it's movements, then another says people shorted it down. Which of you is correct? My money is on neither.
Obviously those with the ability to control its movements are responsible. Of course it does not control itself, and it is silly to insinuate that is what I meant.
We're just waiting for the inevitable drop to confirm what we have already said. This thing drops for days, goes up for a few days in order to trap new longs, and then crashes some more. Keep watching.
I hope some of you who bought around the $1.60s took profits like I suggested earlier. It is playing out exactly as I warned earlier. New longs have been trapped, and it might even close negative on the day. This thing is very good at trapping people into holding.
Meanwhile, I've recovered a nice chunk of those losses in the two days since I sold. Don't try to school me. You will lose.
Best of luck to you.
Where are you getting $4B in cash? This thing is still billions of dollars in debt. It's much cleaner than it was assuming everything goes through as planned, but it's still carrying a huge amount of debt.
I've been here for months and no how this things works. Watch and learn. If anyone is about to get schooled, it's those buying and thinking this has any chance of moving to $3. Could it run to $2? Possibly, and some will make money. I'm just saying don't get your hopes up thinking this one is going to yield 100% returns. And don't hold it if you have nice gains in hand. Take them!
This is the game that has been played for months now. New people will get caught in the $1.80s and hold it into the $1.20s. To anyone watching, don't be a sucker.
Headed back to $4 within a matter of days. This was a huge overreaction to a temporary setback. Approval of the drug appears to be within reach. The FDA simply requires re-submission with a few changes. From the PR, "We believe the recommendations stated in the CRL are manageable and plan to fully cooperate with the FDA."
I have explained my views perfectly well. Repeatedly asking for explanations is indicative of a lack of doing your own due diligence. Do some research and make your own decisions. I did and decided to sell. I have nothing more to add that will assist you. Go check share counts, short volumes, and other factors. Then make up your own mind.
You're pro-RAD. I get it. No need for the back and forth any further. I see what I see: a falling knife.
I have no problem with a company increasing its share count by 10% to 20% over a period of years. It's when they do it over a period of weeks that causes me concern. Like I said when comparing this to the US money supply, a sharp increase in a short period of time causes instability. Comparing RADs raping of the common shareholder to a company increasing its share count over a period of years is no comparison at all.
That could be a part of the picture, but the increases in o/s are irrefutable.
I have explained my views on the situation, and each day they appear to be correct. I see no need to explain further.
It is unpredictable. Dilution knows no bottom. However, I think the company may want to avoid the reverse split scenario that going under $1 would necessitate, so they may do their best to manage the pps by halting the dilution when it nears $1.15 or so. My gut tells me they are simply raising as much cash as possible without driving the company off of the big board.
I want to see the bottom. I paid for the right to be a spectator.
Not back into this. Getting back into RAD would only yield more losses. This is nowhere near bottom.
Massive overreaction today. This should be good for a bounce.
It's simple really. Companies sell shares all the time when their authorized share count is not maxed out. Most do not flat out rape their investors such as Rite Aid appears to be doing, though. Typically, it is done in a very orderly and controlled manner, sort of like the way the Fed increases the US money supply. When a massive amount of shares is sold by the company in a short period of time, chaos ensues. That is what we are seeing here.
As for me, I'm busy getting back what RAD has stolen from me. Today's biggest loser on the NASDAQ looks good.
Dilution does not require a filing. If the amount of authorized shares has room to allow for the issuance of more outstanding shares, the company may proceed with no filing of any kind. Do your due diligence and you will be selling quickly. I did and dumped this after holding it for months.
The increases in the share structure tell the story. Without digging into it, my guess is that no filing was needed since the a/s was high enough to allow for an increase in the o/s.
Shorting + Dilution = MAJOR PRICE DROP
This has a lot more falling to do.
Dilution changes everything. This is a complete POS until the printing press is turned off.
This POS is headed straight to $1.
The SEC should investigate all of the big shots who disposed of shares and posted "Statement of Changes in Beneficial Ownership" on the 5th. That was a very convenient dumping of shares right before the dilution started.
No one ever dreamed management would decide to rape us all and pay their bills using our investment. Dilution should be illegal, as should short selling.
There is no price target. Dilution destroys all targets. No one knows when they will stop or what the pps will be when they turn off the printing press.
ibox updated to reflect the current situation. In no way am I saying with certainty that the company is going full bore on screwing the common investor, but it merits a warning of consideration.
Yes, and their method of raising funds is stinking like a pink.
