So $2T of combined internet and cable tv sales, reduced by 50% as a rudimentary estimation of the effect our tech has on sales (considering they would have continued offering an inferior product), equals $1T. Settling with us for just 1% of that revenue equals $10B. Divide that across the share count and we have a rough estimate of $6 per share. And that is just settlement for all of the past infringement! Take into account the value of the tech moving forward and this is worth over $10 per share.
In the words of the Immortal Ric Flair, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
No one in his right mind would sell this down here. I understand profit taking and normally recommend it, but this stock is the exception. It is worth many multiples of the current pps.
Games being played. Know what you own! This is money in the bank.
Mine wants a new house. I told her to be patient and we can both retire.
Excellent observation. This should satisfy the doom and gloomers who were hung up about a potential gap in the chart.
I just put in my sell order. At $2.60 :)
Here comes the run to .02+
I've seen tiny gaps like that remain unfilled forever. The ones who benefit from the myth that all gaps fill are the same ones who perpetuate it.
Exactly. There are no shares available other than shorted ones, so they are doing what do to try to pry them out of weak hands. This stock is so golden. All anyone has to do is just stash them away and relax.
They don't know the story here. MMs are just trading based on charts and programs. This one will burn them badly.
It's a low floater on top of being worth many multiples of the current pps. A short squeeze could happen with the slightest pop.
Multiple groups are looking to take positions here. Anyone trying to keep a lid on this will only incur losses.
I am willing to bet Arris, et al are buying shares on the open market right alongside us. Every share they can get for pennies now is a share they do not have to settle with for dollars later.
Don't forget licensing fees after the settlements :) Settlement money is only the beginning. Licensing is when the real fun begins.
That would be okay for those who want to get in and out with a quick gain, but many of us see the real potential and do not want this company settling for significantly less than it is due. I have confidence that those in charge will see it through to a conclusion that is fair and worthy of the patents.
Many of us think your predictions are ridiculously low, so opinions run both ways. When we're talking about the patents covering the technology that provides the basis for modern internet usage, predictions should be understandably substantial. What other company do you know of with this kind of technology in use that is not valued at dollars per share?
The market is finally catching on that this is worth much more than the current pps. I can see it at a minimum of .50 right now based on nothing more than potential settlements. Then, we have licensing fees to look at. This stock is worth dollars.
52w High now in effect
I expect news of some sort. Something is up.
I suspect there may be developments we are not privy to based on today's action. This is moving somewhat fast, but not too fast, as if someone wants in but doesn't want to be blatantly obvious about it. I would not want to get caught without shares now. This is going to pop at any time.
I hope not. This stock doesn't need the crowd that "chart master" brings.
So you acknowledge a settlement is likely. Awesome, and nice to have you on board.
It makes the chart look great. No gaps of any kind.
The existence of our company is also at stake, and ours is the one that has suffered from the theft of its property by Arris. The court cannot ignore that, either.
That is laughable. The TA has an obligation to do one of two things: provide accurate numbers or state they are gagged. Any numbers provided are 100% reliable, and providing false numbers can land a TA is serious trouble. Please just stop.
Wow, millions of shorted shares here. Someone is going to get burned.
VHC's tech pales in comparison to the patents held here. The revenues generated from their tech are a fraction of the revenues made using UOIP's patents. A valuation of $5 based on nothing more than damages would be fair, then there are the licensing fees that should follow :)
Exactly. The modern age of Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and others is only possible due to the patents held by UOIP. It's a massive pie, and UOIP should receive a hefty portion of it.
Licensing of the patents will be the catalyst for years of massive revenues here. This thing is so huge, and we still have the opportunity to buy more. This can't last much longer.
.08 should be here already based on nothing more than potential. I feel we should be at .20 right now based on currently known information.
I could live with that considering the value of the technology going forward. The real money has always been in licensing, anyway. I prefer a scenario where we receive a settlement and licensing fees to a scenario where we are bought out. There is much more money to be made by continuing to hold the patents.
Just to get an idea of how big this can get, take a look at this lawsuit for $2B filed over truck design. The company being sued hasn't come close to making as much profit as has been made from our patents in this case, and they are asking for $2B! Is it unreasonable to look for $10B or more here? UOIP's patents are absolutely huge. They are the foundation of the modern internet as we know it!

No, I mean 20 cents. It is considerably undervalued considering the number of rulings in UOIP's favor to date and the potential going forward.
This has been the most well-documented opportunity that I have ever seen in two decades of trading pennies. Anyone who misses the boat here has no one to blame but the person in the mirror.
This should be trading at .20 right now.
My gut tells me "settlement imminent." Something is up with the sealed note to the judge and numerous other factors in play. Get ready for this to explode.
I would view it as unnecessary. We are holding a gem of a company that owns some major league IP. We don't need attention that makes the company appear illegitimate.
I put all of the important links in the intro. That treasure trove of information deserved more than a sticky.
MMs are trying so hard to shake this tree, but we know what we have! No selling until dollars.
