I hate seeing brick and mortar going completely away. It would be nice if there was a bidder that wanted to keep profitable locations open. If there are any profitable locations anyway.
First time buying FELPU today. I have so far picked up 100,000 shares at a cost average of $.0686
I have been reading the due diligence by a number of you, and it seems very compelling.
Ya crazy. I got those. I had a waiting order in at $.065 I put in yesterday. Didn't think I was going to get filled
What was the old adage, release after hours on a Friday is bad so everyone forgets over the weekend.
Release on a Monday is good to let it soak in the market for the week?
Which way are we going.
Oh $32 even better.
$50 million stalking horse bid, any competing bids have to exceed $53 million to satisfy the Stalking horse bidders rights.
$34 million in claims against DESTQ in bankruptcy court. How much of the $16 million left will be available to shareholders.
Place your bets at this cheap price. It’s either payday or not.
Maximizing value for all Stakeholders.
Understanding the Role of the Stakeholder
Stakeholders can be:
owners and shareholders
employees of the company
bondholders who own company-issued debt
customers who may rely on the company to provide a particular good or service
suppliers and vendors who may rely on the company to provide a consistent revenue stream
Doesn’t seem plausible.
Possibly a 15-20 bagger if everything plays out like it looks like. A stalking horse offer, that looks like would pay out over $1 per share
Holy Cow. Hopefully I made a miraculous decision by picking up the shares I did this past week.
I’m so “Thankful” this Thanksgiving season you see what appears to be very positive news of a payout to shareholders.
Just speculation... But DESTQ looks like it could be viable target of Sycamore Partners.
Sycamore is a Private Equity firm that specializes in buying distressed retail. A few months ago there was leaked information they had a $10 per share bid in on TLRD, when it was below $4.
Sycamore also purchased "The Limited" out bankruptcy.
Just a thought.

DESTQ - Tiny O/S and Float has $1.38 liquidation value per share.
Destination Maternity to Continue Sale Process Through Voluntary Chapter 11 Filing
Implements Path Forward to Enhance Profitability and Continue Its Ongoing Sale Process
MOORESTOWN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Destination Maternity Corporation (NASDAQ: DEST) (“Destination Maternity” or the “Company”), the premier national retailer for maternity apparel and accessories, today announced that it and certain of its subsidiaries have filed voluntary petitions to restructure under chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the “Bankruptcy Court”).
The Company filed to facilitate and continue a marketing process begun in early September that has already yielded indications of interest from several credible bidders.
To help fund and protect its operations during the chapter 11 process, Destination Maternity obtained consent to use cash collateral from all of its prepetition secured lenders. The Company believes that this access to liquidity will be sufficient to pay suppliers and other business partners and vendors for authorized goods and services provided post-filing and during the chapter 11 process.
In connection with that agreement, the Company and its lenders agreed to several milestones related to the chapter 11 cases and marketing process, which call for, among other things, binding bids to be submitted by December 5, 2019, an auction to be held on December 9, 2019, and entry of an order by the Bankruptcy Court approving the sale by December 12, 2019. Parties interested in participating in the marketing process should contact the Company’s investment bank, Greenhill & Co., LLC (Neil Augustine, neil.augustine@greenhill.com, and Peter Johns, peter.johns@greenhill.com).
Nice to see it moving north already.
Well played!
Ok... I have been buying ASNA myself too.
But curious Tdeck. I know you were/are in FRAN but I'm not 100% aware of what happened with that one.
Can you or someone describe the similarities you see with ASNA that may lead to similar good fortunes?
What was the catalyst that made FRAN do that leap forward, that could happen with ASNA? Was it simply the short position?
WTF is wrong with the FDA
Looking good today. ZIMHI approval and partnership announcement would be awesome!
As badly as I would like to buy here at these levels again.
My feelings are that we may see even better buying opportunities as tax loss selling season is almost upon us.
23% yield at these prices....
Washington Prime Group Board of Directors Declares Quarterly Dividend
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 08, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Washington Prime Group Inc. (NYSE: WPG) today announced that the Company’s Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common shares and operating partnership units. A cash dividend of $0.25 per common share and operating partnership unit was declared. The dividend is payable on December 16, 2019 to shareholders and operating partnership unit holders of record on December 2, 2019.
WPG - $4.32
Qtr Div - $.25
Annual Yield - 23%
It's not out of the realm of possibilities
A lot of volume after hours too
Nice move again...
Something leak?
I don't think they were bad at all.
$.08 EPS for the Quarter and the stock is trading at $.22.
I know there is a lot of work still yet to do. But they legitimately have a chance to make it espcially with a few other high profile E&P possible failures looming.
If they win the make whole court case, which seems very possible based on the appeals court ruling. Being flush with cash to buy back their debt, and less production from smaller E&P's failing. This could be an enormous turnaround.
I'm sure Tdeck got a big smile.
I know I have a big smile after only 1 day being in it.
ADMP looking really good. Very fortunate, I was able to get in yesterday. Hopefully it continues heading north.
I know I’m coming into this late, and most are already aware of this. But this is a nice article about SymJepi.

Little bit of Green today
Picked up a decent starter today. Thanks Tdeck for the passionate commentary on this equity.
After that pep talk.... I’m buying today. LOL
Any more grossly undervalued stocks you hold in your bag of tricks?
fingers crossed
I’ll venture to guess the results will be positive.

I believe I understand that to be the exact opposite. Unless I have totally confused myself. Which happens quite often.
I believe the appeals court ruled that the creditors should not have received the make whole judgement from the lower bankrupcty court.
So UPLC should be getting this money back.
Again, unless I have totally confused myself.
Hmmm...
The vast majority of courts of appeals decisions are final, and they are binding on lower courts within the same circuit. In addition, federal appellate courts hear cases that originated in state courts when they involve claims that a state or local law or action violates rights guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution.

I’m thinking that a lower bankruptcy court would take higher federal appeals courts rulings into consideration.
Hopefully this happens and UPLC is flush with cash and can purchase their debt back off the open market, and create an incredible turnaround.

UPLC has been reducing cost and generating positive cash flow. Continued capital preservation and using cash flow to paydown down can result in a significant turn around.

A positive ruling with the bankruptcy court that sides with the 5th circuit court of appeals could result in signicant capital available to repurchase debt at a significant discount.
