Correction, It just started showing on my Scottrade.
Does anyone know why there are no trades shown and no volume today after the mkt has been open for 15 minutes.
Does anyone have a website they recommend where I can track NNVC in real time. All of the sites I use seem to have a 20 minute delay. I would love to be able to stay at pace with all of you guys who see it in the $1.40's. My screen still shows $1.36
Can anyone say: Market Makers playing games again....
Dont worry, they will get theirs
Thx Dane. Trying to figure out what all of the Shorts are going to do. I have been waiting for months for a PR or event that makes them run like rats on a sinking ship. Maybe this is it, or maybe it is not, but someday soon it will happen, and maybe for the first time in a long time we can be done with those diseased rodents and they can cling on the the next world changing drug in its early stage developmen.
Does anyone have real time quoting tools that can see what the current pre-market bid/ask is right now?
NNVC is a marathon, not a sprint.
Ovidius,
Maybe it is better for you to just sell your shares and leave us all alone to die a peaceful death. We obviously have no idea what we are all doing, and you are here simply to make small margins on selling short and generally being a hater. Im sure you can find another Board of a penny stock and mess with them for a while to take your scraps on $0.03 movements up and down.
If NNVC turns into a winner in the next 12-24 months, we will let you know.
"dont hate the playa, hate the drug"
hmmmmmm
I hope so. I sure dont want my kids or other family members taking a vaccine that has literally not been tested. I would rather get the flu and take a NNVC drug (which has not been human tested) before taking this new vaccine that is been put togher in a few months with no testing. remember what happened last time they rushed a flu vaccine to market in the 70's. may people died or ended up with major health issues.
Did anyone listen to Pres. O's speach today at 2:00 EST about Swine Flu. I did. He talked about now they (our great government)are stocking up on anti-viricides to combat the flu. Has anyone told him that Tamaflu does not work. How can we let someone in his office know that we have a drug that actually works and can cure the Swine Flu along with a bunch of other flus. This is crazy.
I hope you all mean 2005. NNVC was not even an idea in 1995
Dont worry all. The MM's will get what is coming to them in due time. Let them make the scraps right now. With a few more good things happening to NNVC, the demand will be so high that the stock will shoot up and hold high. The risk for them to play their little games of making a few pennies up and down will go away. Remember, who really cares about this pennie movement right now. With the right news (which I am confident will come soon) we will be making moves in the $1.00's and $10.00 range, not the $0.01 range. Let them have their fun. This is not a sprint, its a marathon and the MM sprinters will make some money, but us LONG investors will be filthy rich.
My two cents.
Great explanation, as usual. Thanks DrFG. GO NNVC!!!!!!
Can someone explain how drugs for humans can be tested and/or developed in a vetenary medical school.
I feel like there will be a buying frenzy before the close. Now all we need to do is have someone call Cramer (Mad Money) and tell him about this BOOOOYYAAAAA winner stock so he can discuss it tonight.
This news looks great. It seems like signifigant news. Can someone explain to me why drugs for human Herpes is being done at a school for veterinary medicine.
Also, does anyone one know what Thevac is?
Doc, please tell me that for all of the work you are doing on this site and the amout of time you spend on it, you have more then 1,000 shares.
I hope you are right, but getting the protocol to mass manufacture is not easy. Going from a lab to full scale commercial production takes time. I have no doubt that it can and will be done. The drug works. Where there is will, there is always a way, especially if there is money. As for the stock price, if the government or other organizations get behind NNVC's techonolgy and they make a move to building a full scale manufacturing facility, and the drug gets fast tracked through the FDA, the stock price will reflect that well before they are even making the stuff. Been in this stock for over 3 years. Waiting for $200+ per share, which I know will happen.
From everything i have read and learned about the NNVC drugs and the company, the stuff works and can easily take care of this and all other flus, however the problem right now is the ability to mass produce. It will take at least a year or more to understand the process to mass produce the drugs (these things just take time), along with setting up a facility to make it. Yes, money is needed by nnvc to set a facility up (my guess is $15-$30M) and frankly if this swine flu gets enough press and attention for a long enough period of time, getting the money will happen because the govt will figure out a way to give it to the Dr. S, the problem now is just time. It is just going to take time for everything to happen, now because the drug does not work, but because the company needs a place to mass produce and it takes time to build. While this whole swine flu is a terrible thing, it is just NNVC needs to get the attention of the CDC, NIH, WHO, DOD and others groups who will need our drug and be willing to assist on the funding side and the approval expedition side.
I have never felt better about owning any stock, and if you are willing to wait, probably 2-4 years, this will be life changing company both in the world of medicine and in our individual pocket books.
I think Bobscout may be a shorty. Nice work, but you are in a Board with some folks who know a lot more then you. Rather then trying to make a few pennies with short sales and trying to convince everyone to sell so you can make a few bucks, how about you put some real money in the deal and have some patience for the next 18-24 months. You may actually be able to retire and buy some new legs so you are not so short anymore. IMHO
Maybe he will want to be our spokesman.
Nano, just wait until the masses figure this out. This is a very thinly traded stock, and the buyers and sellers are mostly on this board i would imagine. Anyone who knows anything about this company is holding long term, and there just are not enough people out there YET that know about the stock who want to buy it yet. Once the computers see its activity and volume today, their traders (i.e. the computers traders) will start to catch on and people outside this board and other insiders will start to accumulate. Take another hit and relax. It will happen.
Here we go, now it is moving, say goodbye to all of the shorts and guys that chickened out in the $.60's and $.70's. $1.00 here we come.
Excellent, thanks. Im guessing that with a NAME of the Big Pharma, and after tests are complete, the news will be even more noteworthy.
Whatever.... Look, we know the stuff works and we will soon have validation by the big pharma, who, at that point will let us know who they are. The market will figure this out and the stock will move up. Unfortunately right now, all of the activity is probably just the MM's, the Shorts, and the smart money that is picking up stock cheap. The masses do not know about NNVC yet, but once the analysts figure out what we have, then.....KAMOOOOOOOM.
Can anyone explain the activity today. Who is actually selling at $0.70. Maybe they do not read press releases. The MM's are loving this right now. How can there be 145,000 shares in 15 min that are willing to sell at these low prices. Can anyone see if there are any SHORTS left, or did they all cover.
"Yes we can"
Does anyone know how long it will take the third party lab to run the tests and confirm the results that NNVC got over a year ago with those cute little bunnys?

WEST HAVEN, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NanoViricides, Inc. (OTC BB: NNVC.OB) (the "Company"), reported today that it has signed a Material Transfer Agreement with a major pharmaceutical company (“Party”). The Agreement initially entails evaluation of one of the Company’s nanoviricide drug candidates by an independent consultant chosen by the Party. This drug candidate has been designed to eradicate viral infections of the external eye, including those caused by adenovirus and herpes virus (“HSV”). It is the understanding of the Parties that, should the testing results be favorable, they will enter into good faith negotiations for a potential long-term, exclusive, worldwide licensing agreement for the development and commercialization of the drug.

“This agreement is the first step towards a potential licensing agreement,” said Eugene Seymour, MD, MPH, CEO of Nanoviricides, Inc, adding, “It clearly signals that our technology is now attracting serious attention from major Pharma companies.”
The terms of the Agreement do not allow the disclosure of the identity of the Party or the exact terms of the Agreement.
HSV and some adenoviruses cause most of the cases of keratitis, a serious infection of the cornea. Importantly, HSV infection can lead to corneal scarring that may necessitate corneal transplantation. In addition, some adenoviruses cause a majority of conjunctivitis cases (“pink eye”). The remaining cases of conjunctivitis, caused by bacteria, are treatable with topical antibiotics. Currently, there are no effective treatments for viral diseases of the exterior portion of the eye.
The Company has already demonstrated strong efficacy against an adenovirus-caused external eye disease called epidemic kerato-conjunctivitis (EKC). Rapid clinical improvement in the treated animals was reported by independent researchers who tested the effects of the nanoviricides drug candidate against adenoviral EKC. Based on computer modeling, the Company believes that the broad-spectrum nature of the ligand used in this nanoviricide should enable it to be effective against HSV.
The total market for viral conjunctivitis is estimated to be in the billions of dollars. The incidence of severe herpes keratitis is estimated to be 250,000 cases per year in the USA. In Japan, where EKC is a reportable disease, it is estimated that there are at least one million cases per year. The number of cases of non-specific conjunctivitis (pink eye) is considered to be far greater, possibly into tens of millions in the US, and into hundreds of millions worldwide.
Thanks. Any idea how much of that increase will be actual value vs. shorts trying to cover.
Dr. FG or anyone else,
Has anyone done any calculations as to potential share price if NNVC cuts a deal with a big Pharma. There has been a lot of talk on this board about a potential deal for the eye drug with a big pharma. I have no idea what a "Deal" means, but in the world of pharma, what exactly does it do for a stock if there is a "deal", but the drug is still not approved by the FDA. It any increase due to simple confidence by investors or is there a mathematical calculation towards value?
Thanks in advance for the info.
Good Stuff. Thanks.
Got it, thx. Lets all hope Allan knows what he is talking about.
Dane,
I think he means that it should be $897M rather then $89.7M. What am I missing.
Thanks Dane. What is $8.97?
Thanks GaryGary. I have been in this stock for over 3 years and am VERY long, i.e. if this thing goes to where I think it is going, Im owning a Lier Jet. I have been tracking this board for about one year but have never followed up with Allan's blog, although I have seen it referenced on this board. Any idea what the website for his blog is. I guess I will start to read it. Maybe with this news there will be big movement this week. GO NNVC>
I have never followed this guy Allan. Is his blog legit, and how big a following does he have? Does his #1 pick actually mean anything, or is the guy just really long on NNVC and wants to push the price up. Who has done any research on Allan?
Why is everyone saying that there is NO big Pharma deal. The PR does not say that. I read it as if the tests come back from the THIRD PARTY LAB showing that the stuff works, we have a partner. Am I missing something?
I totally agree. This news is much better then some on this Board think, and definitley better then what the market thinks. Those of us who are already in have plenty of stock and are not buying more. When it hits $300, I wont live long enought to spend all of my money. For those who have been tracking the stock for a long time, this is great news, but since we all alreay have enough stock, there is no demand. The news however is not big enough for the lay person who is either new to the company or does not know anything about the company to jump into the fight yet. Thats OK, those who dont buy now will look back in a few months and say at a cocktail party to a bunch of friends "man, can you believe that NNVC. I COULD have bought that stock at $0.70 per share, now it is at $10.00. Then when it hits $200, the same guys with no "you know whats" will look back and say, wow, I could have bought that NNVC at $10.00 and now it is at $200. Too bad I listened to all of those negative people on IHub who have no idea what they are talking about.
Ovidius,
You need to read through the PR's a bit more. Keep in mind, when you are a small company like NNVC and get in bed with the big boys, they take control, espically on PR related issues. Dont you think Dr. S would put more in the PR if he could. The big Pharma has probably had 15 lawyers scrub that PR piece for the past several weeks before letting NNVC send it out. My guess is that the Pharma has seen all of the data from past performance and they want the drug. They have their standard DD and need another round of testing just to be 100% sure that the stuff works (before they put their name on it). Note that the tests are being done by a thrid party lab. Im sure this is because Dr. S is smart enough not to give away the secret sauce to a large pharma that could take it and use it and then we have to battle them in pattent court. So, my guess is that if the tests come back negative and the stuff does not work, the big pharma feels like they can walk away and no one will ever know that their name was associated with NNVC, or, the stuff works (the same way that is has been working for the past 2+ years, they announce the partnerhsip or whatever relationship they strike up and the stock is off to the races. (I also dont think Dr. S would be giving them the drug to test if it did not work, so i think the risk is minimal or none at all). So Ovidius, my suggestion is that you stop the negative comments and wait another few months until the tests come back from the 3rd patry lab. If they come back negative and there is no deal, I will be the biggest negative cheerleader along with you. If they come back positive and there is a deal, the stock shoots up and we are all happy. 2-3 month will go by very fast and if you are investing in stocks like this, one would assume that you have enough net worth live for at least a few more months with the stock hovering between $0.50-$0.80. This is a long term play my friend, and only available for those with the stomach to wait it out. Who knows, there are a lot of others out there (including me) who may really see this as a positive PR and start buying at 9:30 am EST, pusing the SP higher.
And so for those who care, this is all IIIIIIMMMMMMMMHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO
