Positive close, bullish sign in a bullish market!
Good luck to all, I will be gone for a few days.
Road trip. I wish everyone luck.
Remember pay attention to those charts. A share cancellation, once it takes effect, will mathematically increase the price. It will be a nice pop, which will attract more attention!
GLTA!
P.s.
Buy at the ask while I am gone!)
I am betting we close up today. Europe was up 14% overall today in ACTC. Market is getting more bullish overall!
Hey guys, we are up 12.24% in europe!
Whats up? Why so glum? We should close higher today!

1. Adult stem cells are "reprogramed" using a bio-engineered virus. This limits the ability of the cell to become new types of tissue to only 4 or 5 applications with current tech. Additionally they dont multiply nearly as fast, so they might not work in areas with high cellular turnover like brain or nerve tissue. ESC's are essentially almost all the good, with very little of the bad. Ethical issues as previously stated, are a non issue with ACTC. I am pro life, and have a 2yr old little girl who I love dearly. She has Autism, and I hope there might be something for her here too! I believe in this tech, and this company!
2. The ESC portion of this sector has been held down by GOVT regulation, and contoversy for 10+yrs, and has still managed to gain momentum. I think we are about ready to pop, regardless of the company. ACTC in my opinion is one of the best available given the quality of staff involved, and the quantity of pantents they hold. Imagine holding the patent for Pennicillin!
3. Look at the price in Germany

We are on the way up!
MM,
Hey bro can you contact Eric and tell him we need that PR confirming share cancellation? I would but I can get my outlook to work.
Im so excited about KDSC it makes it worth it!
Sounds wholly positve! I am betting its sooner than that. Especially since we just got confirmation of share cancellation unofficially from MM!
Thanks buddy!
guess you guys are having a better day than me.
I sold 10k worth of cvc short, lost a grand and barely got it back by catching slm on the way down. I almost had a panic attack this morning.
Oh well I am right side up again, and KDSC is keeping me sane!
yes they did.
set your shares on a limit order. Set it high so it wont go thru and we can keep the shares away from the shorts!
No chance! This will not... READ: WILL NOT!
Divi's are the bane of shorts, cause if they are holding the shares, they have to pay the short not the company. Divis are a great way to wipe out the shorts.
We can expect clear skys until the divi comes out at least. Think of it as an anti-short force field. So... no hurry on the divis.
Just wanted to ask... Why would you want another PR? I havent seen a PR like this come out for at least a year!
Let this one simmer, and spread. I think the 4 major points of this PR could have each been a PR on their own. What else is Eric gonna say? Is he gonna toss gold bricks to us from heaven? I think we are gonna get all we need off this. The confirmations of his promises coming to pass will provide a couple additional lifts along the way.
Enjoy the ride boys!
GO KDSC!!!
we are going up no question. The charts show it and a PR like that is a once in a lifetime event.
More than the huge lift this stock is gonna get, I am gonna enjoy watching the shorts get their nose broke.
I hate shorts on good companies.
I short stock too, but only ones that are obviously loosers. Too risky otherwise because there is no downside for a short sell.
I cant wait for the fed to follow thru with reinstating the uptick rule. Thats gonna make the market a much friendlier place!
this is the best idea i have heard on here yet. You can count my 50k in as of right now!
Okay this is how it works.
Holding companies create shell companies (filings w/sec)
Take them on the road (raise investor awareness)
Once they have enough investors, they move up the tiers of the pinks, from the greys, to the pinks, to the OTC, then the OTCBB (refer to pinksheets.com for an explanation of the tier system)
The better the shell, the cleaner the balance sheet, the more investors... etc etc, the more private companies (looking to go public) will pay to be inserted (aka reverse merger).
The holdings company is allowed to maintain a 10-20% position in the company with common stock, the rest of the deal is done with cash (avg price paid is $495,000 to 2 Mil). The holdngs company then relinquishes 80-90% of common stock, allowing the new company to appoint its own board of directors. A ticker symbol change, name change and IPO usually follow, immediately after the new board of directors is appointed.
This saves the new company the hastle of going through all the trouble of going public itself, and is a very quick process allowing the new company (publicly new) to time its entry onto the market. These companies are well established private companies looking to take the next step. Therefore they are healthy.
This IS THE GREAT HOPE of the shareholder of a shell company! DO NOT invest in a shell company until you have at least a rudimentary understanding of this process I have just outlined! KDSC is already there so no worries. Plenty of shareholders, clean balance sheets and ample investment interest. The final step is to get the share price up.
If you want to learn more (i encourage you do your own research on this, you can start here: http://www.mergernetwork.com/c/public-shell-companies-for-sale/ or just google shell companies for sale)
Just to recap, a reverse merger is WHOLLY GOOD NEWS for us, and will net nice revenue and provide us with an earner in our shell.
GLTA
If there ever was a time for a stem cell PR from the commander in chief, tonight is the night.
After the dissapointment last night I am skeptical. Really not a fan of how the general market is being handled.
Everybody remember the solar cell company CEO that the big chief introduced when he was campaigning for his stimulus.
He should do the same thing for ACTC! We could add a new player in the Dow! Lol!
As long as I am dreaming, might as well dream big!
Good luck guys, Green tomorrow!
Agreed. The gap closing at .0025 today puts us tight and ready for pop. Technical and actual news combined .01 doesn't seem far away at all.
I catch what you are saying about the divi's being held, however I dont think that was meant to be taken that way. I think what they were getting at was someone needs to oversee the distribution in a way that makes sense. i.e. divi expiration time, ratio of currently held to distribution qty, etc etc. I think the decision to establish a subsidiary to handle this function actually will speed up the process, and also really speaks to how serious Eric is about following through with his promise.
Trust me it is in this company's best interest to issue these divi's and quick. Most importantly, investor sentiment here depends a lot on how open and honest they are with us. Eric knows this and has gone to great lengths to establish that trust.
Secondly, if there are shorts here, this will really shake them loose! It works like this, anything the stock does while a short is holding it they must reciprocate to the actual security's owner. In other words they would have to supply the owner with the divi the company would have. If I am not mistaken, the company is not required to supply a divi to a short iterest. Therefore they will be required to come out of pocket. The bigger the divi, the more will jump ship.
To the Board;
If you are short beware! KDSC is only upside, and the divi is not worth the risk! Get out now!
my .02
we are at record low volume today guys. I think that speaks of a large crowd of folks waiting on their hands (hands on wallets) to get in on some news.
Correct me if I am wrong, but an uncharacteristicly low volume on an oversold stock awaiting news screams ready to explode to me.
Your thoughts.
institutional investors waiting on the sidelines to get the nod from the prez. Just think about how beneficial it would be to the PPS of glaxo or phizer to absorb a stem company, if the market sentiment is favorable for stems replacing standard drug therapies.
A good example/analogy of this is Big oil. Every major player in oil has come out in the last couple of years touting their green solutions. Starting solar divisions, geothermal etc. The same principle applies to Pharma. Even if the company they absorb is not profitable, even if the companies tech sucks. They get a pr boost. Period.
ACTC however has good tech and patents to protect it. I think they will have a lot of potential suitors, once it becomes pollitically correct to do so. Both hostle and freindly companies looking to get a piece of the latest and greatest. Either way it will be great for share holders.
I have to admit, i have been considering taking a lot of profits after the EO pop. But the reaction from big pharma makes me think I will leave significant profits on the table.
Just another prospective.
Agreed. I do think there will be some mention of stem cells at the healthcare summit tonight. How could they have a meeting about healthcare and not mention one of the most relevant issues of our time.
I think there is a technical correction in progress, possible up a couple pennies. .15 maybe?
Your thoughts?
this came out feb 19th
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/02/19/republicans-urge-obama-to-overturn-stem-cell-ban/
"I guarantee you that we will sign an executive order for stem cells," Obama told a retreat of House Democrats in Virginia earlier this month. But some supporters of stem cell research have griped that Obama has not acted quickly enough to overturn Bush's ban.
"While we have been encouraged by recent news reports that you plan to issue an Executive Order soon, we cannot stress enough the importance of swift action," the moderate GOP members of Congress wrote Wednesday. "After the current restrictions are lifted, we stand ready to work with you and our colleagues in Congress on adopting complimentary legislation."
The Republicans said that stem cell research holds "great promise" for Americans suffering from afflictions like Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injuries and diabetes.
I am still thinking tonight at the health care summit we get an upward push!!
More good news!!
http://www.milforddailynews.com/news/x598682591/New-obstacle-for-stem-cell-research
While a presidential pledge to end federal funding restrictions comes as their science might finally be ready to move from academia to commercial labs, stem cell experts pointed this week to another roadblock: the economy.
"There is no sure thing in terms of being able to get funding," said B.D. Colen, the spokesman for the Harvard Stem Cell Institute at Harvard University, referring to the limited pool of public science money.
Biotech firms in MetroWest and the state's other life science centers face another quandary, with venture capital and research funds taking a hit just as President Barack Obama considers lifting a ban on the use of federal money for embryonic stem cell research.
The ban was established eight years ago by President George W. Bush, who decreed that federal dollars only go toward existing embryonic stem cell lines. While embryonic stem cells can be used to create any type of body cell, new development is opposed by social conservatives because embryos are destroyed.
While other research options exist, such as using stem-like cells known as iPS and adults stem cells typically derived from skin, many scientists regard the embryonic type as the most powerful because of its malleability.
"We can't wait to see the executive order reversed," Colen said, adding that the institute has long advocated for treating all three sources equally and basing decisions on science, "not on extraneous issues."
In the absence of federal support, state governments in Massachusetts, Wisconsin and California have provided their own funding for embryonic stem cell research, while academic centers like the Harvard institute have rounded up donors and private partners.
Still, Colen said Harvard's researchers believe that the funding ban has placed stem cell development 10 years behind where it could be otherwise. The institute, he said, has had to maintain separate sets of equipment for adult and embryonic stem cells and limit the work of federally supported researchers.
Other institutions, Colen said, could not afford to follow suit to start their own research.
"What might they have discovered?" he asked. "What might their breakthroughs have led to?"
Partially due to the ban and partially due to the newness of the science, Colen and other experts like John Heffernan of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council said stem cells have largely not yet spread from academic settings to commercial labs.
That could soon change though, they said, given technological developments and the potential funding change.
"I think you'll see a lot more people getting into it," said Heffernan, the vice president of policy and external affairs at the council, a trade support group. "It opens some great opportunities for some of these companies."
Heffernan said Obama's promise to ease the restriction had been much discussed in the state's biotech industry recently. Already, a few firms work with stem cells, including privately held Arteriocyte Medical Systems of Hopkinton, which uses the adult variety.
While Cambridge and Framingham heavyweight Genzyme Corp. does not plan on asking for any federal stem cell funding, spokesman John Lacey said the company still supports lifting the Bush ban to help find cures for diseases and injuries.
Industry analysts have said they hope the pending easing of restrictions gives all stem cell research more credibility with investors, a factor cited by Colen.
"The ban and the controversy has probably made it somewhat iffy for some of these publicly traded firms," he said.
Following confirmation by an Obama adviser last Sunday that a lifting of the ban was imminent, shares of several stem cell developers rose, including those using adult lines.
"I think any funding like this will stimulate research and development," said Ted Welte, president of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce. "I think that's the key here."
here is a real good one with a lot of free info.
http://www.candlestickforum.com/PPF/Parameters/16_556_/candlestick.asp
never fear. when the feds shut up the market will recover.
I think we will be fine. The charts for ACTC look even better than yesterday. moving to oversold, and we are tightening up in the spread. The picture only changes maginally as the time span on the chart is increased. I think even the near term of the stock holds at the resistance of .15. If it breaches that we have significant upside. Just by the technicals of the charts.
EO happens and all bets are off. I got a great website called cadlesticks. I think that has helped me learn to interpret charts more than anything and the accuracy has been great since the market has been so volatile. Without any significant news the market trades on technicals. From what I understand.
Any thoughts?
p.s.
Beer is cheaper for the moment
buy now folks. My math tells me share cancellation will result in a minimum of .01. 384.6 mil -25mil x current market cap, =.01+.
Check my math but thats what I come up with. Rough figures, but a cancellation just wipes out those shares. the 2mil buy back held it down, but the 2mil buyback is over so the spread is very tight.
Pop time as we are oversold by every indicator out there.
dont miss it!
Very nice. I hope a lot of eyes read that and see it for what it is. A very straight forward company with a professional mission focused staff that is too busy revolutionizing biotechnology to engage in pink sheet nonsense! I am very impressed! I hope they read the comment below the article as well.
On the joint session of congress at which the president spoke last night, I think the mention of a cure for cancer in our lifetime WAS a reference to Stem Cell research!
I think the EO is coming right along with the immediate health care issues being addressed, and I think the check actually is in the mail! This health care records system reform will be the perfect vehicle to introduce the additional legislation to free up funding for ESC research.
We are on the cusp of a new generation of medical science... not to mention personal wealth here with ACTC. My confidence is renewed.
My last post so I will combine a few replies in here.
First as of today there are no listed naked shorts on KDSC as per http://www.buyins.net/tools/short_list.php?ssd=20090223
Standard shorts are not currently reported with KDSC's fundamentals. However, if we do have shorts takin this trip with us I think they will jump ship tomorrow, based on the charts, and the general market sentiment that shorting is too risky right now.
By the way a share cancellation is not the same as a buy back. A cancellation just takes the shares off the SEC's books and the PPS is then instantly recomputed based on market cap/o/s shares. Which is an immediate jump in PPS.
One of the most well know guy in shorts on the street has just put out the message to everybody to close out their positions accross the board. He didn't even specify what to stop shorting he just said stop shorting. I think that will amplify the near term rally, across the board and we will benefit here as people loose their grip on their wallets and get more interested in some riskier plays. Bold markets are good for smaller cap stocks, both for the common sense reasons I stated here but also historically.
I encourage everyone to do their own research, as I have. You will find that in every near term and long term rally. The pennies have led the way! Anything holding here with a 12 year low in place (KDSC actually increased) is gonna be a strong performer in the rally. All that doesn't include any of the trend related (last few PRs) facts we have already.
One thing to keep in mind. Mathematically, the higher the PPS is at share cancellation, the higher the proportional jump in PPS. (i.e. .003 would jump to .012, .01 would jump to .025). I encourage all of you to load up now on the way up.
Thanks for all the kind words. I am learning just like everyone else. Its pains me to hear those bashing without anything to base it on. There is a lot of technical and factual things that are quite positive to talk about here.
In example;
Stratton Holdings Inc. / KIDSational, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: KDSC) is pleased to release the following update on its operations:

same here brother. thanks.
GLTU
Thanks.
my math tells me that is a minimum .01 increase. Thats assuming no more buyins to ride the wave! SOUNDS LIKE PAYOFF TIME!
By the way, we are only sitting at 28% of our 10 day average volume.
Other technicals;
Volume by price indicates major buying support at .005 on the way up, and PURE buying support at .01 over the historical period year to date.
Accumulation has increased by 7.5 million since 9 Feb. Thats a LOT of longs coming in within the last few weeks. As a benchmark the last rally we had to .01 was preceeded by an increase in volume of only 2.5 mil.
Linear regression line reached .005 today. For you statisticians out there this is a method of corrected averaging of PPS. This effectively sets the PPS value of the security as indicated by buy/sell action over the period year to date.
Other more short term indicators are weak bearish or not trending, however I submit that with a 25mil reduction in shares (6.5% of total outstanding, float is much smaller) there will be a reversal of those trends in short order.
I have concluded a significant upside to KDSC exists here and we are primed to move. If there was a good time... This IS IT!!!
GLTA!
I am new to ihub, i have however been reading posts on this website for a while, both as a measure of investor sentiment and to save me some searching to accomplish my DD. I am not easily swayed in either direction.
As I stated before you are entitled to your opinion, however if you cant find a compelling argument to refute what I have posted then I encourage you stay quiet. Challenging my credibility due to the length of time I have been a member here is somewhat weak and petty.
Don't you think?
Thanks, I think...
I am hearing a lot of confirmation that everything on the market is trading on technicals right now.
That being said let me see if I can translate what the charts are telling me is in the cards for ACTC.
On Balance Volume
The On Balance Volume indicator (OBV) shows that longer term accumulation has given way to near term accumulation selling pressure.
MACD
ACTC's MACD is indicating a weak bearish signal. Although the indicator is above the critical level of 0, which implies that the underlying moving averages are bullish, the MACD has crossed below its 9day moving average or signal line. This suggests that positive momentum has begun to slow.
Scotastics
K is over the D by a margin of 15, and averaged below 25, indicating the stock is in an uptrend, and still oversold.
Money flow index
Registers at 26, 1 point above oversold.
Bollinger Bands
ACTC has been relatively stable recently. This is evidenced by the width of its Bollinger Bands which are tighter than normal. Additionally, ACTC is trading near its lower Bollinger Band. This suggests that the stock price is low relative to its recent price action.
Accumulation/Distribution
No surprise here, Accumulation is over 110million shares, with a spike of 10mil today. Additionally, accumulation has gradually increased by 20 mil since the price correction to .20 from .29. I read that as value investing, aka more longs accumulating cheap shares. Incidentally last time we saw these prices (21 jan 09), accumulation was less than 50mil. bullish in my book.
Volume by price
Indicates pure buy interest in the .13 to .14 spread, and a 2:1 ratio of buys to sells in the .15 to .18 range over a 3 month historical period. Looks to me like a correction to the upside by end of week maybe .18 if it follows the pattern of the last 3 months. Looks like some stops on the way up for profit taking, with the parabolic SAR showing a full reversal to bullish trends at .25.
All that being said I am giving creedence to this historical view of ACTC because I feel strongly the market has already priced ACTC at .29 in a post EO market. I feel even more confident now that I have seen the wisdom of Mutt's chart reading predictions in the past few weeks.
All empirical and historical data, however left open for interpretation. For what its worth allmost all of this post was pasted from todays chart smart text from my scottrade account.
That would be very nice. Anybody know any Whitehouse aids?
All right brother, thats your right. I admit I will be dissapointed if we dont meet this next deadline, but I am hopefull. I think its fair for you to feel that way.
However, I would only ask that you wait to share the negativity until we have actually missed the deadline. Until then please sideline this and dont precipitate a panic that has not been justified.
I have reviewed the charts, and done in depth DD. I think this is worth giving a chance. The charts really do tell the tale of a stock on its way up. Dont discount the effects of overall poor market conditions. I think if any one of the PRs are realized within the timeline stated, we will see a profitable jump. Eric has set some great goals, that it would seem he is working towards achieving. I cant say as I blame him for waiting until the market looks a little better before he drops the good news bomb. Why through out your line into an empty pond. Wait until the fish come back.
It is your right to your opinion, I just humbly ask that you back your opinion up with fact, especially if it is negative, as pure negativity based on nothing tangible is harmfull and unfair to the rest of us.
It is also you right to sell, and invest elsewhere.
thanks for hearing me out.
GLTA!
Thats just my poor attempt at being funny.
Very good point about the volume. I havent seen volume like that today even on sub penny stocks where that kind of volume means only a couple grand. Combine that with a positive close and I think it is fair to assert that there really is some buying interest and some nice upside to ACTC this week at a minimum.
I have been killing myself with DD. Rocky showed me some SEC filings that crossed my eyes. I still have a lot of faith in these boys. Lets see what they do after today.
Its a nerve racking experience but I am really learning how to read a chart. Since this is all we really have to go on for the moment.
Once again, I give much credit to Mutt! Good job man! I hope you took your own advice and reinvested profits at the lower levels.
Listen very close...
My magic investing 8-ball says (4 shakes out of 5) that it is time to buy! I think that is far more reliable than anything I have heard from anywhere else the AP is getting their info.
Odds are in our favor. I was only 3 out 5 five shakes when we moved to .29!
I am gonna go prepare my liver to require stem cell repair!
GLTA!
I'll tell you what.
I will share some profits with you when we hit dollar territory! Lol!!
Thanks for keepin it lite bro!
okay I will do the placating...
You were right my friend...
Were is Mutt. I really appreciate you not telling me I told you so.
Even though you did. I give much credit.
Now to all those who have proven to be right. Can I encourage you to give us your estimates on the upside, and a timeline to achieve it?
there is the bottom baby!
lovin it.
This stupid market is turning me into a chartist. Darn lemmings waving their stupid tickets believe in it... I guess we have too as well.
sigh. I will take .12.
I agree. After talking to ACTC IR at length, I get the strong impression that the CHA biotech connection in the State of Mass. will garner ACTC a fat funding check, with or without an EO. This will allow them to move some capital around and fulfill their obligations to their multiple teir investors. I think that is the short term game plan.
ACTC is also getting money straight from CHA for their blood research, money is coming in from a sale of non-core tech.
I also agree that it is in ACTC's best interest to get that stock price up before the end of march so they will have minimal dilution.
All my gut reaction to the little difinitave info IR could tell me. But I feel very strongly that we are experiencing a two front terror campaign put on by the show on the street, and the MM's controlling ACTC.
I refuse to take part. I will accumulate here in hopes of averaging down.
Thanks for hearing me out.
what the hell is going on?
