But 50 oz were reported in third Q so we should probably only expect another 50 or so from the fourth Q. Just think we should be expecting this so everybody doesn't go all chicken little on us.
Dont they have to explain why on the form? If anybody could get a copy of that it would be worth reading.
Thanks for the responses. Out of posts today.
Maybe they had too much gold to count.
Lowjack,
I made a drive by of Nevada Rae yesterday. I was on my way back to Salt Lake from a couple of terrible football games in San Francisco and figured it was only twenty miles out of my way. That is one freaky little town! Pretty sure Meth is the only other business in town besides gold. It was quite busy at the sight. I think I saw 8 or 9 personal vehicles and a number of active earth movers. I saw a couple of guys working on the geotextile tubes and what looked like embankments to place the additional ones. I couldn't look down into the embankments to see if they had tubes in them or not but it didn't look like they were plumbed yet. The conveyers weren't running at the time I was there. I took some snap shots with my phone but to see much you have to zoom in quite a bit. Tell me how to give them to the board and I'll send them along. This is my one message today so any questions will have to go my email at yahoo with the same user name as here.
IMO this is a clear statement that they are having good success with the production. If they were having any problems spending money on shares would be foolish. They are showing their hands and stating that they will be providing support to the share price so don't bother try to bring it down.
Thanks much for your report. This is exactly why I follow these boards. Makes all the noise worth it.
Glad to hear you and your family are safe. That is much more important than our little investments here.
Perhaps i've missed it but have they made any statements, besides hiring a company to manage permitting issues, as to where they are at in changing their permitted processing limits?
It occurs to me that since there are no restrictions on when the annual allowed production happens they may ramp up flow through on the plant and try to do the whole years production in a few months. Then, next year keep up the high rate at the beginning of the Year hoping that the expanded permitting happens before they make it through the yearly limit.
Just saying things seem to be changing fast...for the better
Hey Lowjack,
Don't suppose you as moderator could lift my one post a day restriction? Probably not. I'm sure if I paid them money they would but the only reason I would do that is to be a part of the class action law suit for stock manipulation that inevitably lies in their future....perhaps just owning pcfg shares will get me in on that. There I go again....you can see why they gag me.
Gold bearing materials that come out of the mill will be about 75% pure gold if they are consistent with the materials found in that part of Nevada. Most of the rest of the ore is silver. Usually the silver recovered is enough to pay for the smelting of the gold. When the company says they got 30oz of gold they mean after smelting. At least that's the way it usually works.
But the price of oil/fuel is dropping
Oh, somebody else just said thar....sorry
A Form 4 must be filed before the end of the second business day following a change in ownership of securities or derivative securities (including the exercise or grant of stock options) for individuals subject to Section 16 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934

So if they're selling their shares we'll know soon enough.
480000 x .5 / 31 = 7742 oz gold
Dont see how the get the higher end estimates.
Thoughts?
If I were them I'd keep all the gold in inventory and use it as collateral for loans to raise money. Then you keep the upside on the appreciating gold which should be more than interest on the loans
Look around for test trenches. I'd like to know if they are getting yield results from the new claims. Might be some awesome data in a couple weeks. TIA for making the trip
But that material event didn't happen until the third quarter, in July, and will appear in the q3 around November 15th. that's what is so cool about them telling us right away
Wow! That was a lot of drama and then a close right back where we started. Must say I was glad to see that gap close. I hate hearing all those TA guys constantly reminding us about a gap as it goes up.
My thoughts on what to expect on the 15th. I don't think the initial numbers will be all that great. We know the gravel they've had on hand is low yield gravel but we may see a sustantial improvement in recovery rates since the last time they processed it. Also I wouldn't be surprised to hear they have been doing test trenches in the land they're trying to lease. That might give us some very interesting numbers to work with.
I think we got a whole new bunch of guys sitting at the table today. All the swing traders and others who have been waiting for this day to sell have exited and now we've got some people with a little less baggage and not quite such itchy fingers. Of course many of us have been here for years and aren't going away for a little extra change. I'll start leaving when I think this can make a big improvement in my life. Congrats to all who took profit today and as well to those of us who've ridden up from the sub-pennies. Yea that's a lot of profit but I'm not desperate to claim it just yet so let her ride!
Actually 5k in gold. Not a lot but 500000x what you just claimed. So let's all take your claims as 1/500000 reality.
Guys let's keep our heads. I don't expect any concrete numbers on production until q3 reports are filed in November. We've got lots of good news ahead but it will still take time. Let's not pump this up and let them dump it. We might get some test results on the new claims at brim. That will help us put a new price on this but I don't expect them to report production numbers from q2, after all they didn't have the go ahead yet to be producing.
I've followed a couple stocks through relisting. Don't expect that alone to drive the stock much. But add in all the other stuff going on here and we know which direction we go....up
Congratulations gentle and patient folk. How good does it feel to be right when so many doubted?
That PR was dated in 2008, before the yorkville debt was paid. There has been no recent PR about the topic.
What's the date on that?
Yea, that's the point I take from this 8K. Somehow they keep coming up with cash to settle these old issues. The loan from insiders was only 150k so we've gone way beyond that. Since we know they were broke and have been keeping up on the 8ks I can only assume they're pulling it out of the ground
Nobody selling except the MM short positions so they have to bring it back down to cover the morning action. Float is locked.
Sure has been a lot of negativity lately. From my experience that usually means that some of our "longs" need to exit a short position or they think they might be able to bring it down for more shares. To suddenly, after weeks and weeks, read the information that has been available to us all along.....well that is either stupid or opportunistic. Perhaps the change in short sale rules has got some of our nellies nervous?
Since Ihub limits me to one post a day on this board I don't post much. I just wanted to remind everybody that placer mining is weather dependent. You can't do it when it is too cold because you need to have running water to make it work--standing water too for that matter as the ponds have to sit. So I don't want people getting excited/frustrated that they aren't producing now. They will have to wait at least a few more weeks.
Speaking of a FWIW, I work for an old guy in Western Utah who tries to run his own placer mine in Oregon. He knows a lot of the local engineers and other mining workers in this region of the country. He and I have had a few chats about PCFG. Yesterday he told me that somebody he knew had been to Nevada Rae to work on the "clay problem" there. Seems to think this guy had some contribution to make to fix that problem. I don't consider this old guy a very good source of information as he doesn't seem to know much about the technicals and could not explain to me how the problem was being addressed. Anyway he said his friend thought things looked "promissing". I don't know what to make of this but wondered to myself if he wasn't referring to the installation of the concentrator. Perhaps this is in someway related to the "clay problem". Not really sure what to make of it exactly but I came away thinking that at least people are there working on stuff. Come spring we're all going to be happy we held on to our shares. GLTA
So I guess the important question is how many shares of ORGG does PCFG own?
Come on! We should all know this guy by now. Look at his various aliases here and on yahoo. He'll flip sides on this four more times this week. Smalls, TT doesn't ring a bell? 10M shares a couple weeks ago? LOL.
I guess we know who the seller has been this week.
Okay guys this is something we should really talk about. Two weeks ago and we don't know if this means money for the company or what.
Anybody spending their whole weekend posting here doesn't have enough money to move this stock anyway. I'm 1339500 sharers long.
Btw we're number 9 right now
They clean the water so they can reuse it. The problem before was that the clay was so fine it didn't settle out with gravity in the ponds so the water was always dirty.. That reduces gold capture and ruins the machinery.
He responded to my email yesterday as well. I asked him two questions. I got the opportunity to talk to a mining engineer who works in the area and has actually been to BRCM site and watched them pull gold out of the plant. This guy is a partner with my boss (My boss owns the clinic in which I work) in a placer mine they are trying to open in Oregon. I talked to him back in November. He had some technical issues with the way the mine was set up and so I raised them with Mitch. First he thought the mine was too far from the processing plant and would create a problem hauling wet gravel that weighs twice as much back to the mine. This would create an imballance of trucks coming to and from the mine. The second was that the soil there is very rich in clay and that causes all sorts of problems with the equipment and in just being able to see the gold. I believe this is the problem that killed the mine last time. Anyway, here are his responses to those questions.
Thank you for your insightful questions.
To answer them in order;
1. The operation is set up so that we pre-screen gravels at the mine site and then haul a portion of this amount to the screen plant for washing. It is estimated that only about 60% of the material will be hauled. The material that is returned to the mine site (the gravels after gold extracted) is mostly dry (there is a time lag between processing and return hauling) and is taken on return trips so there are no extra trips required.
2. Our trommel on site is able to handle the smaller gravel materials and give a sufficient washing of the gravels we feed into the plant. The Geotextile bags are there to keep this material from reaching our process water ponds in order to keep the water clean.
Thank you,
Mitch

btw. I only get one post a day so I won't be able to answer any questions on this. If anybody wants to contact me I have a mail address at my ihub ID at yahoo.com
You do know that you cannot do placer mining in sub-freezing temperatures.
1,339,500
Where did the dirt go?
1339500 shares
Why are the tubes full of water? How long does it take for them to drain? Or were the using them very recently?
I've got 1.3M, out of powder for now. Christmas can be expensive when you've got little kids
Still can't get unrestricted on this board. Just one post a day but only here. What's up with that?
Anybody know how I get unrestricted here?
