yea only a few more business days left.. doesn't look promising.. but hopefully we'll be thrown some kind of F&R carrot. we deserve at least that after over a decade of waiting.
yea.. not even sure why the wmilt is allowed to last this long.. I thought they had no $ left and were only donating to charities.
Agreed. Some payout action is better than nothing at all
fingers crossed!
Yea.. a long shot.. but a bunch of coop shares for old escrows would be nice..
yea I don't see any mention of COOP..
Only a few more days to go! Hope you are right Az. Thanks for all the DD.
I guess we will find out soon considering there are just 11 days left in this crazy year
That would be fair and reasonable.. but I wouldn't be surprised if it was like 1:4 or 1:5 for escrow commons.. in which case it would still better than nothing..
With nothing coming out today.. is it safe to say it won't be until the new year before we see something?
does anyone recall receiving a miniscule amount of COOP shares per small % of escrows at the beginning of this year? I hope that was a test that the system works.. in case they give us COOP as part of our recovery..
Hear, hear
Yea.. a dream come true it would be...but seems like a long shot !
1 coop for 1 wmi escrow common??
or they could give us a ton of COOP shares!
As a start, even pennies on the dollar towards our escrows would be a bit of comfort .. just so we know they 'work'..
Fingers crossed then. PAR value would be nice..
I was thinking the same thing.. the end of 2020 is fast approaching.
With just over 3 wks left in the year.. best guess would be no payment to avoid disappointment
what does this mean? 2012 base line..?
Exactly.. where is it.. and more importantly when is it.. without the 'when'.. the whole notion of there being a recovery is mute to all of us who've waited so many years.
if all true.. Bonderman must be really patient.. 12+ years is an extremely looong game... hope the returns come to fruition soon.
I wonder how much $ is behind each ISIN
not sure we will ever get a chance for a third party to look at this.. if something comes.. it will be bing bam boom.. here's your money. good bye
per old legacy common? .. wow quite a bit..
yea .. but an announcement of any kind would be nice..
sure hope your predictions come true!
what is 31 month's worth of divi worth? doubt we'd see that though, as it's probably a lot of $..
10B (PAR) would be nice.
and the WMILT have always maintained they have and no nothing..
I agree.
At minimum there should be correspondence direct to legacy holders indicating that something is forthcoming, the value, along with a date..
right away would be good. a nice boost in the arm to probably what has been a down 2020 for many folks.
it would be good to see an actual announcement for legacy WMI investors and a confirmation of a distribution date and the distribution mechanism.. all this might be too much to ask though for us who have been largely left in the dark for a decade plus.
Any ideas has to what mechanism is used to pay us what we are owed?.. since it sounds like the money may just be sitting around somewhere
Sept 25 coming up again... what year we at now? 12??
I haven't been following much.. is COOP at $27.. suppose to indicate something is expected for escrow?
yup... which is 50x what COOP is at now.. a long shot..
i haven't been following much either.. and am wondering the same thing..
$10 bil please.
they probably want all of us to die off or forget everything before they close it.. thing is are there any mechanisms to force their hand to move on closing the receivership?
yea don't think the receivership's closed yet.. could be years.. hopefully not..
