"Chris Messalas with MM's at the Olive Garden"
"That's real conservative. Look, one of two things will happen with this:
1. CM will do a filing or a PR, and the stock will go up.
2. CM will sell this and R/M, and the stock will go up. "
MIGHT happen:
3. CM will NOT do a filing or a PR, and the stock will go DOWN.
4. CM will NOT sell and has allready done Reverse Split, and the stock will go DOWN.
5. Stock price stays the same for several years (lost opportunity cost).
I would also request that the olive garden post be moved up, TIA.
Anything Chris touches, turns to gold, yeah right, suuuuuuuuure! Look at DRI, parent company of the Olive Garden. ;oD
Thanks, according to http://www.shortsqueeze.com/?symbol=egt there are approximately 2,779,300 Short Interest (Shares Short). Can you say short squeeze!
@ 1.00 I thought it was a good deal. @ ~.06 EGT is a SCREAMING deal. Please update ibox with EGT related info only TIA.
EGT is on my radar.
Ohhhhhhhh I picked up the tab allright, when I bought into CTNO. Chris's head is burried somewhere else other than sand.
;oD So you are in effect attempting to create a sort of butterfly efect, where small variations of the initial condition of a dynamical system may produce large variations in the long term behavior of the system, more power to you, but I have learned to not take a stocks price at face value and I always look at the underlying volume behind the transactions. Cheers!
Chris probably took the MM to the Olive Garden in return for their srvices IMO ;oD
Houston, we have a problem.
NASA Has To Deal With Crummy Contractors, Just Like The Rest Of Us
Thu Nov 13, 2008 at 11:06:01 AM
Don't you just hate it when some contractor tries to pass off some shitty work on you? When he covers it up and crosses his fingers that you'll never discover it?
NASA does.
And so does the Department of Justice. They announced this morning the indictment of Richard Harmon of Alvin, accused of selling crap to NASA for use on the space shuttle Endeavour.
Harmon was a subcontractor for a company called Spacehab.
Here's what the local US Attorney's office says (just focus and push hard to get past the gobstopping collection of words describing the relevant piece of equipment):
The part was designed to secure cargo to the payload bay of the Endeavour during a flight to the International Space Station in March 2008. According to the indictment, the part, called a passive flight releasable attachment mechanism interface plate, was damaged during the manufacturing process. Harmon is alleged to have covered up the damage by causing it to be welded without informing Spacehab. Harmon is accused of delivering the part to Spacehab without disclosing the damage and falsely certifying the materials and processes used in machining the part complied with the requirements of applicable drawings.
The damage, and the jury-rigging solution to welding it, had reduced the strength of part by 40 percent.
"Had NASA not discovered the damage and used the damaged part as planned, it could have cracked open during flight, allowed cargo to come loose and, possibly, resulted in the loss of the spacecraft and personnel aboard," the US Attorney's office said.
A routine inspection caught the flaw. We're guessing that just prior to it, the conversation went something like this:
"Yeah, the ol' passive flight releasable attachment mechanism interface plate? Good to go. No need to look too closely at it. If ever there was a terrific passive flight releasable attachment mechanism interface plate, this is it. Can I get paid now?"
Harmon faces 10 years and a $250,000 fine.

Only $100 worth of shares, someone is just playing game$.
Foreclosure = bankruptcy for Chris and us IMHO. I dont think he paid for the shell, he probably received it as some sort of compensation.
I would love to see CTNO appreciate in value. The bottom line is unless Chris decides to release any information, we are all speculating and will all evenually be underwater IMHO.
True, but you could not honestly say on your resume you were CEO of Garrett Industries, A Publicly Traded Company. Im sure he could add a few more things that would add some dazzle to his resume. That is probably how he got his new position at Wilmington Capital Securities.
Regardless of how good or BAD the performance is, having the title of CEO of Carlton Companies, INC looks good on a resume. Heck If I could start Fredman Industries, LLC I would too. Fredmanm, SR. has 150 gazillion technology certifications, some of which just barely passing, does he state the scores on his resume, no but just the fact of haing a few master MCSE's is caviar on his resume.
I could not agree more, and I would personally do things way differently than Chris has done with CTNO. None of this makes sense, all we are is a few lines on Chris's resume, nothing more, IMHO.
Pay? Yeah right, Chris does this sort of thing for breakfast. Like I said in an earlier post, It probably only cost Chris lunch at the Olive Garden with the MM and some spare change for filing fees at the most. It looks good on a resume and I believe that is all Chris is after. Chris neither has the time nor the will to develop CTNO, IMHO. Unless Chris starts releasing some filings / PR's our shares are only worth the paper they are printed on. The bottom line is even a shell is worthless if the seller has no intention of selling.
Only if Chris wants to. Soemthing tells me Chris does not wish to do anything with CTNO.
I agree, the KRON sale is close. Hopefully we can get some details in the Q3 conference call. As soon as my funds clear, I am going to add to my position in YBTVA.
Apparently, there is a new spanish soap opera called Hacienda Heights starting this December on the KRON lineup.

Maybe WAPA is the buyer?
There sure is! Since Young considers KRON a "discontinued operation", the sale of KRON would not cause any significant change in the results of operations.
"Is it anticipated that any significant change in results of operations from the corresponding period for the last fiscal year will be reflected by the earnings statements to be included in the subject report or portion thereof?
No "
Could be a blessing in disguise. The KRON sale is pending IMO.
"Young Broadcasting, Inc. (the “Company”) and its counsel are completing the review and revision of the disclosure contained in the Company’s Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the period ended September 30, 2008. As a result, the Company could not timely file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the period without unreasonable effort or expense. The Company anticipates filing the report within the five day extension period."

I am liking the YBTVA Triple Bottom formation.
What we got here is desertion, not diluion.
CTNO is in a coma. Unless Chris intervenes, we will be in the 000's soon, IMO.
Nice volume on YBTVA, loading up on the cheapies this morning as well ;oD
Welcome to the big leagues! Hopefully Fire Marshall Dave ;oD will someday join the majors. All we need now is for Young to sell KRON and/or post improved quarterly revenues and YBTVA will be trading in the dollars.
Young Broadcasting Inc. upgraded Brian Greif to President/GM of KRON/San Francisco starting immediately. Brian takes on this new responsibility in addition to continuing as VP/News.

Young is streamlining it's organization which should help revenues not to mention the political advertising revenues, Q3 should be a good one.
Nice volume this morning, loading up on cheapies today.
I would wait for 000's before I would even consider buying this boat anchor IMHO.
I remember a picture of Chicken Messalas and a scratch ticket a few months back lol
If only I could locate a picture of Mr. Messalas then you will really be ROFL ;oD
At this rate, Chris will post news...
When Hell Feeezes over.
Couldn't ask for a better moderator, we all appreciate it. Now only if Mr. Messalas would be so kind.
At the rate things are going (nowhere fast) I would check back once a month or every other month at most, IMHO.
Hi RonnieD, I cannot private reply, I saw the same message on yahoo you apparently read, which prompted me to do a search, and I posted what I found on IHUB. Cheers!
Friday was Mark Antonitis's last day as general manager of KRON Channel 4 after four years at the station. He'll be replaced by Brian Greif, previously vp for news at Young Broadcasting, KRON's owner.

Apparently Michael Kelting, meteorologist, will also be leaving KRON this coming Friday.

Has KRON finally sold?
Young Broadcasting (YBTVA) was trading in a bearish wave, which is becoming weaker.
Technical indicators and chart patterns show bullish direction,
recommend stopping short positions or entering long position or bullish spread options strategy.

Anything is possible, but a sale of KRON is the most likely outcome, OMO. I suppose Vincent Young could turn around KRON like Weird Al turned around channel 62 in the movie UHF. I am looking forward to Q3 conference call. Someone needs to pry some more information from Mr. Young on the KRON sale.
