Looked to be trading lower as the run progressed, imo.
Note To Self: What an ugly day!
EK is a potential leveraged buyout / merger with Apple and or Rim etc... imo.
Note To Self: How far can EK run? Waiting for the dust to settle for a lower entry position.

Activision Cancels DJ Hero Franchise, Scratch: The Ultimate DJ To Be Released Soon?
7 Studios shut down, part of Activision music game cutback, staff report
7 Studios, part of Activision's music game division, has been shut down, according to staff posting on Twitter. Following Activision's announcement yesterday that its Guitar Hero business unit would be disbanded and no new music games would be released this year, 7 Studios producer Damon Conn tweeted, "Directly affected me. Our music games division really took a hit today."
"Activision is shutting down the Guitar Hero business as of today. This includes my studio," another 7 Studios staff member named Alex confirmed last night on Twitter, "Anyone know of any open associate producer jobs?" (This appears to be the Twitter account of 7 Studios' Alex Beckers, who has updated his LinkedIn profile to reflect the end of his employment at the studio.)
"Lame day, but [I'm] optimistic about the future [and] wish the best to all my current/former colleagues," added 7 Studios creative director Dan Lehrich on his Twitter account. "Good luck to all, let me know if I can help." Lehrich later exchanged tweets with Alex in a heartfelt goodbye.
7 Studios was acquired by Activision in early 2009, an action that launched a still-ongoing series of lawsuits with publisher Genius Products, which had contracted 7 Studios to create Scratch: The Ultimate DJ (pictured) before Activision stepped in and scooped up the studio (halting Scratch's development). In October 2009, Activision reportedly reduced 7 Studios' staff by half, leaving the developer with approximately 30 employees (LinkedIn currently lists 36).
7 Studios was assumed to be the DJ Hero "B-team," supporting Freestyle Games as needed, including work on DJ Hero 2. "I can't tell you what they're doing, but they're doing some cool stuff," Activision exec Dave Stohl told us last July. "They have supported FreeStyle a little bit, but they're doing something new and different." According to Lehrich's LinkedIn page, 7 Studios was involved in the creation of the Guitar Hero VIP Pass DLC hub, in addition to "Unannounced Projects" for iOS and "Various Prototypes/Concepts" for a number of platforms.

Latest Update on Scratch: The Ultimate DJ -
Eurogamer: A Dungeons & Dragons action RPG seems like a radical departure given that your last project was MIA music game Scratch: Ultimate DJ. What happened to that?
Zandro Chan: Bedlam is actually comprised of a lot of very experienced developers and a lot of us come from the action background and have created action titles prior to that. Daggerdale is not actually too much of a departure. If anything Scratch: Ultimate DJ was more of a departure.
That was a very good opportunity for us to stretch our wings and be able to do something that was outside our comfort zone.
Second degree bones.
Eurogamer: Where is Scratch: Ultimate DJ now?
Zandro Chan: Ha ha - you're not going to let this go, are you? Actually I can't talk about Scratch: Ultimate DJ and its development right now.
Eurogamer: Is it still going to come out?
Zandro Chan: I cannot comment on that right now.

DJ Hero 2 took 7 months to make, Scratch: The Ultimate DJ has been in development a total of 24 months and was initially announced OCTOBER 2008! Has scratch been abandoned?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FreeStyle Games' creative director Jamie Jackson told Playstation UK that DJ Hero 2 only took seven months to make, after the entire team took a well-deserved and long holiday.
We basically killed ourselves on DJ Hero because we were pulling 15-hour days for quite a long time to get it done. There was a mass exodus as soon as finished it, but then very quickly we had to get straight back on it. So DJ Hero 2 has been made in around seven months.
Was it easier developing the game second time around considering the engine and game mechanics were already all in place?
Yeah, we had the foundations and everything in place but at the same time we didn't want to just throw out the same game again with different music, because it's important to us to have new features such as the Battle Mixes. That was a big win for us. We actually had planned to include them in the first game and made some cool mixes I genuinely hope see the light of day
Yup, that's a sound way of making a great sequel. Take the original, finish the stuff you couldn't include in that due to time limits, and then release as sequel. Simple!
The game gets released on October 22nd in Europe, three days earlier in the US.
The only plan Icahn has is to load up on Bonds, as the bondholders will end up owning Blockbuster out of Bankruptcy restructuring. Common .005
I am waiting for .005 Using Ameritrade, BLOAQ and BLOBQ do not show any volume for today, but I do see bid and ask / L2.
Common is worthless after bankruptcy, Blockbuster currently has ~ 1$ Billion in debt, senior bondholders (Icahn currently owns 30%) will end up owning company.
Looking for .005 (or lower) entry point, eom. GLTY
GLTY!
This Stock Is Going to Zero, and You Know It
You may have seen fellow Fool Chuck Saletta explaining why Motors Liquidation Company carries absolutely no value for investors, even if you ask the company's own management: "As its name implies, the liquidation company is being shepherded through bankruptcy liquidation, and its shares are completely worthless. To be clear: Its fair value is $0.00, not a penny more."
Now former movie night maven Blockbuster (OTC BB: BLOKA.PK) is in the same position. Blockbuster has filed for bankruptcy protection. The company is up to its eyeballs in debt; the bankruptcy plan will reduce $1 billion of senior debt to less than $100 million but also gives Blockbuster's equity to the firms issuing the debt to begin with. The market cap, for comparison purposes, stands at about $12 million today. That's about $12 million too high. Blockbuster's own press release will tell you so: "Under the proposed plan, there would be no recovery by the holders of the Company's outstanding subordinated debt, preferred stock or common stock."
That's right -- you, the common shareholder, gets nothing.
Zero, zilch, nada, nothing!
Businesses going through bankruptcy are worth nothing to us common investors. If anybody gets paid at all, that would be senior bondholders, lease landlords, and others with a contractual pipeline into the poor company's pocketbook. Your shares will be written off and worth nothing.
If Blockbuster ever comes back to the open market, that would probably be under a whole new batch of stock certificates that have nothing to do with the papers you hold today. Best-case scenario: You'll get replacement shares worth a small fraction of their original value. It'll take the mother of all turnarounds to generate a positive return after a conversion like that.
If anybody could do it, I would have put my money on 7-Eleven savior Jim Keyes; nobody knows retail like this man, after all. But Keyes has tried and failed at making Blockbuster relevant to consumers in the age of digital streams from Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) and super-convenient Redbox rental machines by Coinstar (Nasdaq: CSTR). Attempts to copy the Netflix model have failed, and the bricks-and-mortar stores aren't pulling their weight anymore. The jury is still out on Blockbuster's new Redbox-style vending machines, but if that's Blockbuster's saving grace, it won't deliver until the coming Chapter 11 reorganization is but a distant memory.
Crazy, but it's true
Yet people still trade Blockbuster stock in spite of all the risks with absolutely no upside. Day traders can luck out and make a buck here and there as share prices gyrate through wild swings -- a price change of a single penny is a 12.5% move when you're starting from $0.08 per share. But even those hustlers will be left holding an empty bag when the bankruptcy filing comes.
To quote Chuck again, there's really only one logical explanation for this madness: "The market is nuts."
Icahn knows common will be squashed. Reallocating common equity to bonds, will effectively increase Icahns ownership in the company as Blockbuster exits Bankruptcy, imo.
Is Bankruptcy a possibility for Genius Products?
According to a recent SEC filing, Genius Products owes a $2,000,000 5% Promissory Note due 12/31/2010. (Less than 3 Months!)
Scratch: The Ultimate DJ is well past the promised "Early 2010" release date.
If the Game was "scrapped", Bankruptcy is a real possibility for Genius Products.
The ATI "Brand" is what attracted many to AMD.
AMD et al. are headed lower, IMHO.
The big question is he right about SWHC?
He sold too early with Blockbuster, IMO. if he waited a few weeks he could have sold for 3x more...
Timing is everything!
