LOL, thanks, misspelled it. Should be hypothecation.
Like I said, I don't put my faith in people for investment purposes. Lenfest isn't God. You have your investment guidelines, I have mine, they are totally juxtaposed. Prove to me TEVE isn't going private. Prove to me Lenfest isn't using TEVE for a tax write off. I'm all ears. I'm still waiting to hear about that TEVE train ride, too. Save shorty? Nice try! I don't buy that crap, either oldest scam on the boards.
First Time Ever: Silver Sales Surpass Domestic Production
http://www.financialsense.com/contributors/steve-angelo/2012/01/04/silver-sales-surpass-domestic-production
You mentioned you research mines. SIRG is one of your favorites, right? Why not DD SIRG for your board? It's possible ML never knew SIRG was for sale? Very very unlikely, very improbable. Copper is their business.
2012: Long NBRI, short Apple.
I'm explicitly talking about SIRG. Are you going to provide an answer? Many depend on and trust your DD prowess for their investment decisions. The SIRG lease sat idle for many years while Mercator demonstrated aggressive growth, why didn't they snap up such a logistically correct elbow-rubbing neighbor like SIRG?
How many more shares you need? Is your approach working?
You research mines? Well, how about an answer to this post?
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=70465566
I know there's a few who'd prefer not to know the answer, but I get the sense you like to expose and reveal things for others. Is it safe to assume you'll provide an answer? And let's not get sidetracked with gold mines they could have bought, Mercator's primary business is copper.
Snide remarks don't establish a basis in fact. "They" were saying the same thing about Corzine before he was exposed. I don't put faith in people, sorry. Human nature is not worth betting on, not in TEVE or any other stock. My opinion, TEVE goes private, maybe this year. I agree with sentiments expressed earlier on the board, TEVE is very likely a great tax write off for Lenfest.
Yep.
Busy board.
My bet for MF Global, Corzine will slip through the hypothecation loophole.
Awful quiet here.
Exclusive Interview – Ned Naylor-Leyland: “The Chain of Custody Behind Gold’s Price Setting Mechanism Appears to be Breaking”
http://bullmarketthinking.com/ned-naylor-leyland-the-chain-of-custody-behind-golds-price-setting-mechanism-appears-to-be-breaking/
Thanks, appreciate the kudos. Nice to be here.
Sounds good to me.
Sounds good to me. One contrary pick I'd throw out for 2012 is to watch for opportunties to short or buy puts on AAPL.
Hey guys. Very impressive lineup moderating the board. I'm just wondering, are there any plans to narrow the field to a few stocks a week so the board isn't going in so many different directions? Just a thought. TIA
Sad? What's sad is people buying stock because of a Lenfest, et al. Lenfest et all does not a stock make. John Corzine proved that, didn't he? This is a horrible venue for a belief system that says, gee, because I believe it, it's true.
I still think you'll see TEVE go private. Let's hear about this amazing TEVE train ride.
Well, believe it or not, Lenfest isn't going to live forever. What train ride? Where's the train gone the last 5 years? There really is no reason for the company to remain public. Certainly management's attitude toward shareholders would suggest going private is a viable option. I posted lots of questions on that debt, not one has been addressed.
Bid's starting to build up, but.... seeing price ascend on consecutively weaker volume is never a good thing. Make the seller come to you.
I wouldn't be one bit surprised to see TEVE get taken private.
Here's the link to the Mohave County website where you can locate the SIRG property by accessing the GIS:
http://www.co.mohave.az.us/ContentPage.aspx?id=111
SIRG property is located at T23N R18W Section 22, nowhere near 4 miles away from Mercator as you claim. Remember, townships are 6 miles by 6 miles, but sections are simply 1 mile by 1 mile, but you knew that right? Like you said, you've been out there, right?
So again, why didn't Mercator buy up the Emerald lease????
No more comparisons of the Emerald to Mercator? Why? When you were making all those comparisons, were you ever the least bit curious why a company that is aggressively expanding their interests wouldn't want to snap up such a logistically correct, cost effective mine like the Emerald? I mean, Mercator's right next-door, within spitting distance with all their manpower, all their equipment and an ability to put the Emerald into production quickly, right? The lease sat in limbo for all those years, so what's your take on why Mercator didn't snap it up, especially since Mercator's in such an aggressive growth mode? Surely that is something you'd want to share with all your faithful followers on the SIRG board, right?
Strange.
Is that a new investment strategy, stick your head in the sand and hope for the best? Two other major questions I have on TEVE: One, why does this company remain on the Pink Sheets? Two, what's to stop the company from going private?
I could care less about saving you, don't worry about that. Most people like guidance, I'm one of them.
Quite fascinating, for sure. I, too, would like to see an answer to your last question about being a SIRG affiliate or officer, etc.
What guidance? If you can get any of those answered by Lehrman, let me know. Last time I tried to get any guidance on this issue from management all I got was a basic shareholders are mushrooms type of response. Maybe he's a bit more amiable towards shareholders now. Why don't you try, too, see what he says to you?
Great article Cork, thanks!
Another indicator I really like (my favorite) as a core global indicator is the BDI:

Qtip, you have any idea if/when TEVE management will develop a sense of responsibility toward their shareholders to the point where they feel we are worthy enough to have at least a scintilla of guidance on the mounting debt?
A few questions that deserve answers:
1. What is the estimated time period for the total Lenfest debt to be repaid, how many years?
2. Estimated time period until the company is able to show a profit?
3. What happens to the Lenfest debt in the event of his demise?
4. Who inherits the Lenfest notes?
5. What is the likelihood of the company remaining a viable going concern if Lenfest stops providing funds?
6. What financial entity is likely to provide financing in Lenfest's stead?
7. What enticement(s), if any, exist on TEVE's balance sheet for the past 5 years that could be seen as encouragement to a new potential lender wanting to loan funds to the company?
8. What are the consequences of default?
9. What happens to the company in the event of default?
10. What are the consequences/penalties for falling behind in payments?
11. How much is currently being paid monthy/annually total?
12. What happens to the company if for some reason Lenfest decides to call in his notes?
13. What is the probability the company can survive in the event Lenfest shuts off his lifeline to the company?
14. What affect does a bad economy have regarding repayment of the aggregate debt?
15. What are the chances a bad economy could cause default?
16. What is the total debt service just on Lenfest's notes?
17. What does the company feel is its biggest impediment to success?
18. Who does the company feel is its biggest competitor?
19. What does the company feel is its weakest link?
20. What is the one single element the company fears most?
21. What do TEVE's clients say about the company?
22. What is the attrition rate for TEVE clients for the last 3 -5 years?
Again, totally irrelevant to what I asked re TEVE debt
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=70420518
Not at all what I asked. Totally irrelevant. Here's the link for review/refresher if you need it pertaining to guidance on TEVE debt:
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=70420518
Let's hear your understanding. I've done my DD.
Well for starters, tell us when the sum total of mounting debt will be repaid, how many years. Tell us how many more years until the company is able to show a profit. Tell us what happens to the debt in the event of Lenfest's demise. Tell us who inherits the notes. Tell us the likelihood of the company remaining viable if Lenfest stops providing funds. Tell us what financial entity likely will provide financing in Lenfest's stead. Tell us what the company can demonstrate to a potential new lender via their balance sheet for the last 5 years. Tell us the consequences of default. Tell us what happens to the company in the event of default. Tell us the consequences/penalties for falling behind in payments. Tell us how much is currently being paid monthy/annually. Tell us what happens to the company if for some reason Lenfest decides to call in his notes. Tell us how a bad economy will affect repayment of total debt. Tell us how likely a bad economy could cause default. Tell us the total debt service just on Lenfest's notes.
Baloney. Call FINRA and get the explanation straight from the horses mouth.

Using message boards for trading strategies can be hazardous to your health, you just never know for sure who you're talking to. Too many eggs in any one basket is never wise simply because nothing in this realm is ever for sure.
He who makes the most noise is the least worth listening to. I just don't understand why you don't sit Schiff, Morgan, Sinclair, Sprott, Organ, Norcinni and some of the other metal heads down and straighten them out. The infallible guidance you offer on NBRI suggests the pros could learn a lot from you.
Smart. Never pays to buy at the ask when there's such a willing seller, better to make them come to you.
Not in the lamest sense of the word is that guidance.
